A very different and enjoyable book. I liked both the the H and the h. I've seen similar plot lines used before, but not as well as this author did. I liked the secondary characters very much, too, especially David.

This book is very well written. Rebecca took a simple historical story and added twists and turns. There is a spider web of characters that work together well. I got this book free for my kindle and after reading it I bought the other two books at full price. Rebecca researched the history of that time. I love that she had people from Virginia interacting with people from the west then added the ethnic differences. Keep the good books coming.
Scandalous Virtue (The Saint of Seven Dials Book 0) :: Miss Amelia Lands a Duke (The Caversham Chronicles Book 0) :: Seducing the Bride (Brides of Mayfair Series Book 1) :: More Than Passion (Book 1 Dashing Nobles Series) :: The Earl's Secret Bargain (Marriage by Deceit Book 1)

I have been waiting for this series to be released on Kindle for years! This trilogy is my favorite by this author. Rebecca Hagan Lee can do no wrong. Golden Changes, Harvest Moon and Something Borrowed will make you laugh, cry and wish for more.

Totally loved the book. A slightly damaged Cherokee Scots English groom and a fiery English Iris bride makes for an interesting start to a romance. Love makes all contracts null and viod as these two characters find the true meaning of family and happiness. A family secret is revealed. An interesting cast of characters. A very enjoyable read.

This is an interesting look at what could have happened to young women after the Civil War. Faith, her Aunt Tempy, her little Sister Joy, 2 other Aunts were living barely on the money they made from taking in sewing. But with taxes due, a new roof needed Faith was now without options. Answering an ad found in a newspaper to become a governess for a rancher in Wyoming seemed heaven sent until she learns the real terms of employment. Could this have happened? Stories like these are lost to the history families are still discovering.
