I am so thoroughly impressed with the illustrations in this Bible. I had a children's Bible when I was growing up that is in a bin somewhere! I loved it. But I think I love this one more. In addition to beautiful illustrations, the stories are short and keep my 2-year-old's attention. I am very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it to anyone.

The illustrations are great and the Bible stories are suitable for young children. The reason for only 3 stars is the cheap cover. I returned the first copy but I had to glue part of the replacement copy before I gave it to my great grandchild for his First Communion.

This bible is awesome. They've consolidated each book and verses into colorfully illustrated pages that are easy to read and, more importantly, easy to understand. I read it to my five and nine year olds and they both understand and love it!

Beautifully illustrated and a great step up from the first Bible (really a very small board book for babies) that my son was carrying to church. He is 7 and likes it. It is a very heavy book - so beware. Sadly we dropped it and the binding split.

This is a great book. Stories about the Bible events Should not only be revealed based on children but also should be revealed based on Adults as well. I teach the Bible at a Bible College & Seminar as well as preach the Bible at my church. Teaching and preaching the Word of God is one of the greatest things that has happen to me in my life. What I'm saying is this: Create a book of this caliber for Adults as well. May God Bless!

This bible is beautifully illustrated. This was a gift for a 7 year old child. She loves it! She first went through every picture in the bible from front to back, then started reading from the beginning.

This book is reflecting the Bible correctly. We have several other children's bibles and I can tell the writers of those books didn't refer to the actual bible but other children's bible with error.
This book correctly says 'tree of knowledge' rather than the wrong but popular term, 'the forbidden fruit'.
This book also correctly states David grabbed five stones unlike others books, which states he grabbed just one stone.
Every single stories I read so far reflects the Bible correctly, which is amazing.
Because it is so rare to find a good children's bible like this one, we will purchase several more in case our kids rips or loses our copy in the future. I will also recommend this one to others.

This is probably the most beautifully illustrated children's Bible that I have ever seen. The photos are clear and realistic and so detailed. The stories are written in a very clear way for young children, through elementary school.

Easy to read yet it maintains the true essence of the Scriptures. I bought this for my son yet I'm the one who couldn't put it down after I started reading it. The illustrations are very well made, capturing the action of each passage. Genesis through Apocalypse. Every single book very well resumed. The only small complaint I would have is that I think they should have more on the New Testament letters to the church. The book is hard cover and the pages are glossy with vibrant colors. It definitely deserves FIVE stars.

Edge to printing with excellent artwork have made this bible our children's favorite. The stories are also easy to understand and short in length so you can read a number of them before bedtime being able to stop at many points without having to stop in the middle of a story.

Purchased this for my 2nd grader (7 years old) for his Reconciliation and we love the pictures and the text. It is simplified but still spreads the good word that is my son can comprehend. Highly recommend.

Great illustrations and length of text. Some stories could have been reserved for an adult bible as had to skip over to be age appropriate for 2 and 5 year old. I prefer the Jesus storybook Bible, also available on the store and makes a great first communion gift.

The Complete Illustrated Children's Bible is absolutely beautiful. Very easy to read and the pictures are so colorful bringing the words to life. I bought this Bible for myself since I'm more of a visual person. I highly recommend this Bible for children and adults.

As mentioned in other reviews, the illustrations are gorgeous. This book is for a little older children and is over my 3 year old's head. I still use the book but I soften the stories up for him and use simpler language. This will be a great book for when he is reading it himself.

Great quality and content. Language used in this Bible is very accessible to little children. (Age 6+, my 3+ seems like he is not listening while I read but he randomly asks me about something we read).

A beautifully illustrated and written Children's bible. Gave it to my three year old grandson for his Baptism. He and his parents love it...they have read from it every evening since he received it. Researched a lot of Bibles...this is by far the highest quality.

Wow what a beautiful edition! I bought this for a friend's baby shower but am going to buy one for myself now. I plan on reading it to my son as wel as in reading it for myself. I couldn't believe the quality for the price and the beautiful illustrations. Great buy!

Four year old really got into it. Stories are super simple, he will be starting private school next year and I wanted to at least introduce him to the bible etc. pictures are beautiful and just what I wanted

Got this bible for my god daughter's baptism (she was baptized at 6 years old). She can already read so that is why i got this for her. the pictures looks real. The wording looks easy for them to understand and read.
