The New Captain Underpants Collection (Books 1-5)

This series is really terrific. I remember reading these when I was young and laughing hysterically. Now my daughter does the same. Thanks, Dav Pilkey, for creating such wonderful and funny books! Don't let the name fool you - these books are not filled with toilet humor like Spongebob. These are intelligent and thoughtful fantasy books for kids just getting started with chapter books. Highly recommended.

My 7 yo boy loves this series. He literally laughs out loud at times during reading. He also loves them so much, that he reads the books over again and again. He and I like that each book is a mix of chapter reading and comics. I'm happy that the store has used books in great condition so they are affordable!

I bought this box set because of readers reviews & I could not be more happy. My son follows me around the house and has asked me at 7am to read more Captain Underpants, how can I say no... he loves it and we love it too. The author does a great job presenting the stories in a way kids and parents will love. I am waiting to see an ACME product in the book to along with the PATSY 2000, 3-D imaging machine.

THIS IS A MUST HAVE SERIES FOR CHILDREN AND PARENTS!!!! I am buying the next set now.

First 5 Capt. Underpants books, new, paperback. Great price. My 8yr old absolutely loves this series. Perfect reading level for 3rd grade. Dav Pilkey is an excellent author of children's book. Only one problem...now I'm forced to get the #6-10 collection :)

I wanted this collection for a classroom library that I beginning to accumulate in my 2nd grade classroom. While they may not be the greatest titles and subject matter, the students are eager to read the books which is great because it is hard to get students to actually want to read in today's society.

My kids loved this series as do all their friends. I was skeptical based on the title...but it's a funny story with comic book style illustrations. The box set comes with a cute C.Underpants blowup figure.
