Mother Bruce

This book is wonderfully funny! On top of the cute and funny story is some of the best illustrations I have seen in a long time. I accidentally found this book while browsing in Target and am so glad I did.

Purchased for grandkids. Will buy another for my sister's grans. The story is fun to read and funny. AND it has no PC junk embedded into the story which is very good. This short story with clever drawings was happily received by my daughter and her children. It does have a tiny moral to the story but it has nothing to do with today's PC overloads. Thank you Ryan T Higgins and the artist (book is now in possession of kids so I can't thank by name). I will be looking for other books from you to gift to the little ones in our family.

Bought this for my grandsons for Christmas(ages 3 and 4)--they love it! We have to read it every night, and I must admit I enjoy it nearly as much as they do. It's got great pictures, the story is short enough to hold their attention(and mine!) and it makes me smile every time I read it. Definitely recommend for this age group. I will probably buy the Bruce Hotel as a birthday gift in Feb. as this one was such a hit with the boys.

This is such a fantastic book! It was an instant hit with my kids who range in age from 2-8. My husband and I also immediately loved it and agreed it is one of the few books that we don't become bored reading over and over to our kids. The illustrations are awesome and the story is very engaging and funny. My 2nd grader selected this book when it was her turn to read a story to her class at school. We've also purchased copies of this book as a gift for friends and family and they have also become enthusiastic fans of Mother Bruce!
