The 2nd book in this trilogy really develops the twists in this tale to capture the reader completely. Again, the author sprinkles humor throughout, laugh out loud caustic remarks by our heroine. She is definitely a woman we would all want to be! Strong, independent, smart. Yet soft inside when it counts! Love this series, reminds me a bit of C Wilson's style.

Fantastic storyline. Hope to find out if she meets her father or not. The mage couple that take her under their wings are well written. I can see the story unfold in my minds eye. Really love these kinds of books. Keep up the great work. Thank you

Loved it! It dialogue was real and entertaining! I love supernatural books with a twist of sex...this has it. Not gory or too graphic so it's perfect...and the story is great! I love this girl who's coming into her own powers...makes me want to be her! I read all three!!
The Mageri Series Boxed Set (Books 1-3) :: Three Hours (Seven Series Book 5) :: Twist (Mageri Series Book 2) :: Ravenheart (Crossbreed Series Book 2) :: Risk (A Mageri World Novel)

I have no idea what the other reviews are talking about! This book is action packed with suspense.
The relationship between Darius and Reagan explodes in a romantic hot as fire in the only way that matters! (Reagans if Darius wants to live!) Yet still enough action and suspense to not be one of those "Romantic supernatural porno types"!

THE FIRST Few chapters I almost put it down.... I could t connect to the characters at all... but I’m so glad I kept going because it really came alive! I enjoyed this boom and will continue to read the series

I enjoyed this second book in the series even more than the first, and I liked the first! Reagan is so wonderfully snarky. She says the things I would kill to be able to say to annoying people! The action in this book kept me hooked from the start, I found it hard to put down. There are elements of this series that remind me of the darkness series, but the characters here are unique, not duplicates from that series. Oh, and let me just say, chapter 23 was so hot, I needed a cigarette after I read it, and I don't smoke! My only concern is that the Fire & Ice series is being labeled as a trilogy, and three books will not be enough. I hope there are more, or at least an offshoot series. Books like these are why I love to read!
