Just when you think you've found your favorite Payne brother Sosie delivers another that fights for your love and attention! The pairing of Marius and Gretchen was everything! This story has all the combination s of a fantastic read: lead characters that have palpable chemistry, humor that enhances the story and background characters that bring it a full circle. Man am I happy there's plenty more to read about and to fight for my spot as favorite Lol. Buy this series, it's a no brainier one click!

Lots of humorous things happen toaccindent and foot in mouth prone Gretchen. When she meets Marius Payne she is basically struck dumb and then has verbal diarrhea... Marius thinks of her and can’t get her out of his mind.. it he’s returned from the military changed and basically forced back to his home where he feels stifled.
Lots of humor but also some serious issues on veterans. enjoyable ...My first book of this series.

I knew Marius would deliver...and boy did he ever.
I'm not giving anything away but you just have to get this book. Best Payne brother book!!
Gretchen will have you laughing, applauding and wishing she was in your life.
Marius is a big ball of messed up and no matter how much she's tries Gretchen just can't break through his walls.
This book had me seriously ugly crying ins the middle of my work cafeteria. I can't wait to see what the remaining brother being to the series!!

Great story with a little of every romance genre thrown in. You have small town girl who doesn’t want to leave and the boy who can’t wait to leave. Then you have some military aspect added from his back story. Then you get a mix of friends with benefits and a possible baby. End with friends to lovers. All happening in a small country town with hearing impaired old people who make town gatherings interesting. I love all of Marius’s family and can’t wait to read the rest of their stories.

I loved this book. At first, I was a little uncertain of the banter between the FMC and the MMC being believable even when they are actually mad at each other, in the beginning of the book. But as the book goes on, it is just how the characters deal with things. I ended up loving the main characters and the side characters. There were parts of this story that were completely hilarious. I would highly recommend this book.

Marius is a wounded veteran who is broken mentally and physically and who refuses to allow himself the time to heal his mental wounds. Gretchen is an awkward woman who is afraid of being alone and who is searching for something to fill the void in her life. They have instant chemistry and it is adorable to see them fall in love. The comedic moments are priceless and had me laughing out loud at the antics of Marius and Gretchen. This is the best installment thus far in this series.

Wargasm is a serious story that never takes itself too seriously. Sosie Frost takes readers back to the town of Butterpond where the residents are as quirky as the name is cheesy and sets about stealing your heart. Marius and Gretchen are not each other's first choice. He's a bloody, battered soul. She's a touch neurotic. Yet despite the odds they fit. In life and love the greatest blessings are the one's we never saw coming, but are hopeless to live without. Heaven help my heart.

This was the first book I've read by this new to me author. I have to say, there were quite a few laugh out loud moments, some sad moments and some twists and turns that you just don't expect. And don't forget about the geese. You will definitely want to pick this one up as soon as you can or you will be disappointed.

A standalone that's full of insta love and plenty of drama. The story of Marius and Gretchen will grab your attention at the beginning and keep you page turning. A disabled navy seal and a female police officer will warm up your kindle. A good read that I read as a reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.

Wargasm consumed me. I was sucked into this story and couldn’t put this book down. I loved Gretchen and Marius. This story was unique and refreshing for me. This story had me laughing out loud but also had me feeling every deep emotion Marius and Gretchen were feeling. Totally loved this story and it will definitely be added to my re-read list! Can’t wait to read the next book in the series!

Marius is a broody war veteran, and when he crosses paths with Gretchen, who is a Geese Police Officer, then the fun begins. This story is filled with crazy shenanigans, and is a sexy, sweet, emotional, humorous, and entertaining read. This author has written a beautiful story, which had ne hooked and captivated throughout, and I cannot recommend her work highly enough for all readers. This novel is filled with laugh out loud moments throughout.

I really enjoyed reading this third installment of the Payne Brother’s series, although I will say this was my least favorite of the books so far. There were parts that were just laugh-out-loud funny. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. I found myself laughing out loud quite often throughout this book. The dialogue is hilarious but the book is also has so many more layers to it. A story of healing, love and re-learning how precious life is and what it truly means to be alive. Vibrant characters, witty dialogue and a fast-paced writing style makes this an entertaining read that you won’t want to put down.

Hilarious and sweet! Gretchen and Marius are definitely NOT the usual “heroine and hero” of books, but they are in this one. Fired from her job as the Animal Control Officer, She is at loose ends when she runs into Marius, a retired Navy Seal. Their story is both touching and hilarious. Well written and absolutely addictive under the very last word, Ms. Frost certainly entertains her readers!

Sexy, romantic, hilarious, heart-mending scenes combine in a wonderful book that will satisfy all your reading needs. Set in a small town, with quirky inhabitants, the book is about an amputated war hero and a young woman who believes in love at first sight and is looking for her prince charming. From beginning to end, this book kept my interest. Although this is my first read of Sosie Frost's books, I'll definitely read all the books in the series.

I continue to enjoy this series, but I admit I had hoped for a slightly better storyline for Marius. The whole "love at first sight, let's make a baby together" was a little much for me. But, I warmed to the couple, eventually. The book is fun, as were the two books before it, but I had hoped for better for the war hero.

Wow, I really enjoyed this book. I can’t remember the last time I laughed so much. The banter between Marius and Gretchen was hilarious. They had really great chemistry and the love they had for each other could truly be felt . I loved this book. Great job, Sosie Frost. I look forward to reading your next release.

You will love the Payne family- a war hero returns to this small town after loosing a leg- he is there to be miserable until he can get the hell out of this small town until he is accosted by the towns goose police- yup crazy things happen and he falls in lust! Crazy adventures happen in a small town! Fun, hot, and funny! I voluntarily read this as an arc copy!

Wargasm is a story that’s hilarious, emotional, sexy and keeps you thoroughly entertained from the beginning to end! I enjoyed this story about Marius and Gretchen. Marius lost more then his leg while a Navy Seal. When he meets Gretchen he thinks the answer is a baby. When they first met, it seemed they could not be more different. Once they get to know each other they just might find more than what they have been missing. They might find happiness and love for themselves.

I enjoyed reading “The Payne Brothers” series so much. I feel Marius was the hard brother to crack. He can back from the damaged not only his body but his heart and mind. He was angry with himself and everybody else. This book showed the difficult that a veteran have to go through sometime to adjust with cillivan lfe again.

I enjoy my female character's being strong willed and smart alecky and this one is! The male character is hot...only in dreams right?

I voluntarily read an ARC of this book from Hidden Gems for an honest review. This is the second Payne brothers book I've read by Sosie Frost but it can be read as a standalone although the rest of the family make numerous appearances. If you like laugh out loud contemporary romance with plenty of steam you will love this one.

I enjoyed watching Marius’ life get turned inside out without him realizing it. He tried so hard to keep everyone out, but Gretchen got under his skin and into his heart. The book had humor and connection. And understanding. When they thought they were alone in the world they found each other. Can’t wait for more from the series.

This was a funny, quirky, feel inducing read. I felt for Gretchen with everything that she had going on, Marius was along for the ride for most of the book. I about died when they got stuck in Chloe's house, that was soo freaking funny! The sexy times were really good, some drama, and some really funny antics, I give this 4 stars.

This entertaining story about Marius and Gretchen had a lot of sparkling banter and as some other reviewer mentionned maybe there was sometimes too much of it. I haven't read anything about the Payne brother's yet but this got me interested in the other books in this series. I received an ARC and voluntarily chose to review it.
