Beautiful Player (The Beautiful Series Book 5)

This is my favorite Christina Laura book. Will, sigh, I love him. This book has already gotten a ton of re-reads (and re-listens on the audiobook side) and ranks top of the list of my favorite romances ever.

I love Christina Lauren's books, I've read mostly all of them. They just get better and better, I specifically like this one because of the Moments were I can feel my chest constricting due to the phenomenal writing skills these ladies have. I must say that these books are amazing and I would recommend them to anyone who ask me for a good book to read.

What a wonderful surprise. So often in series like these it starts to feel formulated and low and behold I found I liked Beautiful Player even more than the the first two entries. Its a little slower, yet so much more delicious tease of a book compared to Bastard and Stranger. These two actually get to know each other before jumping in the sack. The first seventy pages are funny, lovely and sumptuous foreplay... and what girl doesn't like great foreplay. It appears to me that Christina and Lauren are only getting better. Hope they keep up the good work

Amazing!!! These girls are by far my favorite authors. As much as I loved the books that came before this, wow.!! Will and Hanna are so wonderfully well written. The chemistry between these two characters is amazing. By far one of my favorite reads of the year and definitely my favorite book couple! Gahhh, why did I read it so fast!?! F me running!

The only thing I had difficulty with was figuring out the order in which to read them! Thank god for google!
Once you've got that, just enjoy! My favorite character was "Max", and the best was the trip to Vegas. I laughed to the point of tears over "Mike Hawk". Great group of characters, well developed, awesome, awesome, awesome! Just read the whole series for the second time. Only gets better as this time I wasn't in a rush for the next morsel of story and details.

Will is so yummy. Hannah is funny and sweet. Loved their chemistry and their relationship. It was finally a full fledged story and not just hot sex with a few filler pages in between. Beautiful stranger had more depth than BB but still wasn't great at creating investment. I was totally invested in this one...got frustrated with Hannah s fear of an actual conversation but all's well, right?

These ladies know how to write! I look forward to more and more!

Each book awaits a fun tale of lust and love and don't forget the funny! Too often I burst out laughing to have heads turn while I'm reading!

Don't pass up reading the fun books from these two great writers!

I love this series!! Bennett and Chloe are still my favs but Will and Hannah are pretty cool too. It took me a while to relate to Hannah...she just felt like such a kid. And their romp when he says they can pretend he's sneaking into 16 year old Hannah's bedroom was a little much for me. Maybe that's because I have a daughter that's not too much older than 16. Just...no. That said, I got past my discomfort and enjoyed reading the tale of their exploits. Can't wait to read more!!!

I loved how the book progressed. It took a little while for it to pull me in, unlike the previous books in the series, but I loved the storyline just the same. I love how innocent Hanna appreared to everybody but to me it seemed like she had this need for more that had been undiscovered for quite some time. Will is/was the "player" that we have come to know, but the way he loves her even through her back and forth trying to figure things out was inspiring. It's the kind of love that we all hope to find in one way or another.

I absolutely adored BP, but am a little sad knowing that it is the second to the last book in the series. Beautiful Player is funny, sweet, sassy and steamy. The interplay between Will and Hanna was great -- laughed til I cried. Seriously. Can't wait for Beautiful Beginning. Looking forward to whatever Christina and Lauren cook up next.

Another great book from the dynamic duo Christina & Lauren! I have always had a hard time deciding what qualifies a five star book in my opinion. I finally figured it out, when I can't put a book down for a second, when the story has me experience a rollercoaster of emotions, when I can connect with all of the characters, & lastly when I have to crack a window because the sex scenes are so palpable there making me sweat. This my friends is a five star book.

These girls have established themselves high on my auto-buy list, and I'll be honest, I wasn't a fan of their first book. But the last few releases have been absolutely stellar, and I adore that their characters are distinctly different, not the same stereotypes and tropes written over and over. Loved this one especially, as it didn't fall into any of the usual predictable patterns.

Christina & Lauren are genius! These books are perfection. I love love love the characters. Every new character that gets added to the group is just as hot or interesting. I want to hang out and be friends with the girls and I want to love and be loved by the guys.

It is just perfect fiction and I love feeling immersed in that world they've created. I can't get enough and I hate when the book is over!

This was definitely my favorite of the Beautiful series! From the first page it had me hooked. I hate spoily reviews, so I won't write one, but trust me when I tell you to read this book! Smart, nerdy, inexperienced Hanna is the girl you wish you were when you were 24 and Sexy, brilliant, player Will is the guy you wish you bagged! It was funny and sexy and even brought me to tears. I could not put it down! Is there a button for 50 stars? 500? I wish!

I really loved how the authors did not draw out certain areas they let it flow very well sometimes authors will stay on a particular party of the story for a quarter of the book. I also love the way you could relate to the characters a lot of time love stories harp on the characters having tragic pasts, or heart breaking romance, this was just typical people who let life play out not searching for the one but finding it when they did not expect it.

I had read Beautiful Stranger and Bastard before this one, and perhaps by this point I was a little bored with the whole thin plot, little substance, over sexed thing, but I found this one to be just OK. I liked the other two far more. I think my biggest issue was that Hanna was hard to enjoy. She was supposed to be inexperienced and somewhat naive, but she came off more immature and silly to me. Personally I think the other two books were better in at least making both characters fun and enjoyable. It makes it a lot easier to read the fluffy nonsense that way. This nonsense felt a little more like a chore than it probably should have.

its so damn hard to find good contemp romance! thank god i finally found this series, started it.... read read read... laugh... giggle... read and read. its finished now and im feeling a bit lost... best start the series again!!
seriously, buy the book if you love a damn good romance with great (and seriously, its damn good) sex. Lord above, but sometimes it felt a bit pervey just because it was THAT real!

Because I surely cannot! I can't even control myself at all when you both put another book out! I practically read it, gobble it up, in one sitting! Seriously, I think it my be a new record in reading one in less than 6 hours!!! This has been my FAVORITE book thus far. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Chloe and Bennett, but Will and Hanna were killing me! I simply cannot wait for the next installment. Creative, contemporary literary genius!

BRAVO, BRAVO!!! Beautiful Player is definitely the BEST in the series with plenty of LAUGH OUT LOUD scenes, great interaction among the cast of characters, a good steady flow of the plot and an HEA that hints of more HEAs to come. The only down side: Will & Hannah's story ended too soon. I wanted more! Greedy? Yep! I'll be re-reading this one because once just isn't enough.

These two Authors, Christina and Lauren are the best Authors in my eyes!! They write stories that don't leave you hanging and that are not your ordinary dialogue. All the stories are different. All of your emotions and feelings are felt. Please if you are going to read these stories, then start at the 1st one, trust me, these are long version books, not 98 pages. So worth the price and a must read!! Enjoy!!!

Second favorite book in the series. I love this couple. Hanna is so quirky and funny. If got a bit frustrating towards the end when they weren't honest with each other about their feelings (I know this is a device commonly used in romance novels to stretch out the anticipation, but it's still annoying). I can't wait to see more of them in Beautiful Beginnings.

I loved all Christian Lauren " Beautiful" book series. The characters are interesting and consistent, the story lines are fun and logical and everyone is super sexy with their own quirks that make then very entertaining and addicting to read. Well done yet again.

Out of all the Beautiful series, I think this one is My favorite! Love the story of Ziggy, she is so cute and funny! And I love what she can do to Will! Can't wait til we read about the Beautiful Beginning!!

My book club girls and I absolutely LOVE This series! Not only is the writing quality but flat out hilarious. These books are the perfect blend of brilliant story lines, smart and sexy female leads and romance. The men in this series are
fan-freaken-tastic! Christina and Lauren did a great job of portraying a modern version of today's woman who can have it all and a confidant man who is not intimidated by her. He actually finds her strengths sexy. We are sad to see the " Beautiful" books are coming to an end but look forward to reading whatever these two authors create! I highly recommend reading the whole series because it was that good!

Bastard had me back in it's original incarnation. Stranger killed me with his accent. But Player... He wins hands down!

This was definitely the hottest, funniest, and most heartfelt of the series for me. This will be the one I read a million times, over and over. This is definitely my new favorite book.

I must say that Christina and Lauren stepped their writing game up in Beautiful Player. There is some really great writing in this books...so many witty, funny, and cute lines...just lovely moments. Will Sumner is a great character and in fact I now love him more than Bennett and Max. Hanna is great also, but my heart belongs to Will. This was not your normal "Beautiful" book with the freaky kinky moments...it was a great love story. I so recommend this books to anyone who enjoys hot, sexy, steamy, FUNNY, cute books because this is a great read.

The chemistry build in this book was perfection. I love these two together and I really felt I got to know them. By the time they first touched I was feeling everything right with them. Every intimate scene they had burned so hot but with such love. This is my favorite book I’ve read in months!

Absolutely loved this book! Ok, so the end dragged a bit, didn't like that, but the growing relationship between Hanna and Will was emotional, and believable. These characters had chemistry! Love the dialog and hot sex. I started with this book, I'm going to read the others in the series.

These two are fun, unexpected, and adorable all at the same time! You can feel from their first meeting that something special will form between them, and you can't help but root for them throughout the story..... A must read! Great addition the the beautiful series. Can't wait for the next one!

I loved this book!! Hannah was hysterical and a beautiful, smart, leading lady!!!! I usually don't care for funny romances but this hit all the right buttons! Will...oh swoon!!!!! Enough said, you need to read if you are a fan of Christina Lauren. Need to read if you like really good romance and steamy scenes! Really good read!!

After first reading "Sweet, Filthy Boy," I had high expectations of Beautiful Player. Unfortunately, the storyline in Beautiful Player is not as complex as it is in Sweet Filthy Boy. I found the storyline not only simplistic, but also predictable, which was a disappointment. I also think that the title does not support what actually occurs in the book.

4.5 Stars - Christina Lauren's Beautiful series just keeps getting better! This was my favorite one yet. Just enough angst to keep me interested, but not annoyed, and a nice build up to the relationship between Will and Hanna.

I have come to really like this series. The series has become an addiction and I'm loving it. Will and Hanna were adorable. I love that the authors are making the females in the books so smart and strong.

How does this book series just keep getting better?! Just when you think you're completely in love with a "Bastard" then a "Stranger", here comes a "Player" to sweep you off your feet. If you haven't purchased this book yet I'm on my knees begging you to do it! But don't get any ideas - Will Sumner is ALL MINE!!!

Favorite. Series. Ever!!! All of these book are exceptionally well written. Steamy, passionate but with an element of humor too. You'll laugh out loud at the same time you are blushing. I love the strong female characters and Hanna is no exception. Her and Will's story will not disappoint!

Entertaining read and the editing on this piece was stellar compared to earlier writings by these authors! The characters are believable and the dialogue engaging...I was pleasantly surprised to find myself keeping the book in my hands until the end.

Christina Lauren did it again! I don't know what it is about Will Summmer and the awesome writing that goes along with it, but this book by far is my favorite in the series! Its so hard to pinpoint on any one thing, so just say I loved it all! Hannah's
non-filter" mouth and the way Will reacts to it is hilarious! I would love to find out what happens between these two, so please keep writing more on them! And thank you for not letting us wait long for the next book! Next up, Chloe and Bennett's wedding!

That was over too quickly! I love these books and they continue to make me smile, keep me up until the wee hours at night and then grabbing my phone to read some more if I happen to wake up in the middle of the night! This group of friends is so fun to immerse yourself in and I hope the series never ends!

This book started a little weird but ended great. I do think there were something's mentioned in this book that were out of order with the other books, but nothing to mess the story line up any. This serious is great and addictive to read, you just don't want to put them down. This book really is a Cinderella story...

Loved, loved, loved this book. What well written love scenes. Ms. Lauren knows how to vividly describe the love scenes so that I almost felt like a voyeur. Can't wait to read the next book in this series. Really liked it and I can't wait to tell my girlfriends about this book.
