My First Book Of Knock Knock Jokes - Knock Knock Who's There

Got this for our 4 year old daughter for Christmas. She had been trying to tell knock knock jokes and didn't quite have the pattern down (though her own versions are hilarious and we continue to encourage her to make up her own!). She immediately sat down to read this, and even though she can't actually "read" yet, the pictures support the words and she can read/remember all the words on the pages... who knew it would turn into a useful teaching tool, as well as provide all of us with many laughs! She reads it daily and tells the jokes at preschool and to relatives. The jokes are cute, understandable, and non-offensive, perfect for a 4 year old. The only very slight downsides that I can see are that the book and pictures may be a little too baby-ish for a child over 5 or so, and all of the jokes are name-based. Overall a great find, and definitely added to our daughter's already rich sense of humor!

My granddaughters (4 and 6) have been making up knock, knock jokes ever since they heard their first joke. I thought this would be a good book for them and they really like it. Most are a play on words so a little interpretation is needed.

I purchased this book for my grandchildren, ages 2 1/2 and almost 5.
This is perfect for children just discovering their sense of humor.
These two were driving me crazy with their one joke they knew; repeating it over and over again.
This was a perfect start for them and they know most of them by heart.
It's time to look for another joke book.

I ordered a few books for my grandchildren. I returned them all, except for this one. It is cute. My 7 year old grand daughter and my 5 year old grandson love it. It doesn't have a lot of pages, but makes a great quick bedtime book, or anytime book.

We got this for our youngest grandson, 3yo. He loves Knock Knock jokes and this fit the bill. He can't stop laughing or telling Knock Knock jokes. Maybe we have a future comedian in the family...ROFL!
