Waiting Is Not Easy! (An Elephant and Piggie Book)

My daughter loves this author. She already has plenty of his books but I ended up getting this one as an early Christmas present to reinforce the idea of "waiting." She absolutely loves it and I love that it's an easy read for her. Will definitely recommend this product.

The "An Elephant & Piggie" books are the favorites of my severely autistic 8 y.o. grandson; he loves them. Also, unexpectedly, they provide an excellent opportunity for his 5 y.o. sister to practice her reading skills as she lovingly reads them to him. Go, Mo!!

What's not to love about these books? The illustrations carry the story oneward, and make it fun for the reader, who is also waiting to find out Gerald's surprise. This series of books is probably my children's favorite.

My six year old Grandson (and myself) love this book. The story holds his attention and challenges him to attempt to read along with me. He literally laughs at loud at the interactions between Elephant and Piggie and finds the similarities in himself. We are working our way through the entire series.

My students love Elephant, Piggie, and the Pigeon that hides on the inside covers of the book. They enjoy reading these books almost every day in class. They also enjoy reading these books to me over and over again. My students never tire of the adventures of Elephant and Piggie. We can't wait for the newest ones to be published .
