Anyone who has inquisitive kids knows how much they like to ask "Why" at a certain age. This book is a good tool to have for those kids or for anyone who wants to encourage healthy curiosity in kids. A good approximate age for kids who would like this book might be anywhere from age 4 on up, in my opinion.

It's suitable for my toddlers. Not too many facts. Well written with many beautiful pictures. My kids love it. If you are looking for something crammed with facts this isn't the one. This is perfect for toddlers and younger children! My kids love it.

I ordered some of these books with different themes.
My son and I open each book to look at the beautiful pictures he learn names of each animals. and I explain them.
He enjoys it and even looks at the books by himself.
This will form his good habit with colorful books.
I Was So Mad (Little Critter) (Look-Look) :: Richard Scarry's A Day at the Fire Station (Pictureback(R)) :: Go! Go! Go! Stop! :: Have You Seen My Dinosaur? (Beginner Books(R)) :: The Truck Book

Excellent book for all ages of children. Answers to a lot of questions they ask about real life things around them. Probably geared for ages First to Fifth Grades, but the pictures are so colorful, even younger children enjoy sitting and listening as I read it to them. The book arrived quickly and in excellent condition.

Anything from National Geographic, my son loves.. and I love that he wants to learn and explore and is an avid reader.. So when I discovered these series of National Geographic books, I got excited! It turned out to be an excellent read for my son.. he would carry it with him wherever he went.. and gets excited over all the facts in it. I will totally buy more of these for him!

Books arrived when they said they would which is great as they are a birthday present. Box was damaged to the point one end of the box was broken open but thankfully books were not damaged or lost. These will be great birthday presents for my 4 year old nephew

This book answered so many questions. We didn't want to stop reading every night and both my son, who is six and I learned some really cool new things. We saw some other versions at barnes and noble but i enjoy shopping on the store because the prices are so much better. great book, MUST BUY!

All these books are wonderful, we've now purchased several. Big bright pictures, great intro to various concepts about the applicable subject. Our toddler loves to sit and read them, always brings out so many questions!

I sent this as a surprise to my grandchildren. The 6 yo is being homeschooled so I thought it would be a good addition. But the 2 yo got a hold of it first and I have a treasured picture of her sitting on the floor with this big book - turning pages while sucking on her binky:)

While this book was a little ahead of my Grandson's level, he will grow into it. Without basic knowledge we turn into a bunch of mindless thugs. In learning how things work, children gat a basic understanding that they can use to build uopn to reach for greater things. How can this possibly be bad?
