Rusty Nailed (The Cocktail Series)

These two are the best couple ever!!!! I love that their relationship progressed but they are still not going all in because they are still themselves. Poor Clive but I'm glad that he came back with his Harem. Sophia and Neil finally!!!! I can't wait for the next book!!

Wallbanger! I loved this sequel and fell even more in love with Caroline and Simon! I'm disappointed that there wasn't more closure at the end but still LOVED the book! Sexy, funny, and erotic, just like it's predecessor!

Alice Clayton has done it again!!! I fell in love with Caroline, Simon and her missing O in WallBanger so it was fantastic to see how they were doing later. The depiction of a young couple going through the very real challenges of communication and life was well done and full of the same humor and care that I have come to expect from Alice Clayton. I looked forward to this book and was not disappointed.

Another great read by Ms. Clayton! Funny, entertaining and HOT!! I did think there were some spots that dragged the story out a little, but they were so worth it!

I've read all of Alice's books now and really love her! The comedy alone keeps me reading, but the sex? Holy mother of...

This book was ridiculously long and boring compared to wallbanger. I kept flipping past pages and pages of design and decoration descriptions. I didn't laugh out loud once compared to the first book. Sometimes things are better left alone.

This is the perfect series for entertainment and sexiness. Alice Clayton’s writing doesn’t disappoint and she continues to share her witty humor, sarcasm and ability to write a light, sexy and steamy romance. The Wallbanger is back and Simon is still one of my favorites. Give this a try and find another book crush! 4.0 Not so Rusty Nailed, Wallbanging Stars!

Ok fans of Alice Clayton you won't be disappointed, and for anyone who hasn't read Alice Clayton, again you won't be disappointed! She's just hilarious and sweet. I love her whole style of writing it's unmistakably her. When you feel like something fun with plenty of "sexy times" (Caroline 's words not mine) then "The Cocktail Series" should be your go to. Alice can't wait for the next one!

I seriously loved this book. Amazing story!

Simon and Caroline have the best banter and connection ever! They are highly entertaining and I laughed and grinned the entire time I was reading. Simon and Caroline have perfect chemistry, hotness, and oh boy are they passionate! This story was not lacking in the sexy time department at all.

Simon and Caroline's relationship grows and has twists and turns. It’s about their real life and making everything work. There was mounting tension that seriously had me stressing out but in a good way. I was hooked from the very beginning. I fell in love with Simon all over again and then I fell in love with him even more. I’m a big Caroline fan. I loved her determination and focus. They both grow so much separately and as a couple. Simon and Caroline seemed so real to me and I felt totally connected. I had some serious heart bursting moments in this thanks to Simon... he still knew how to woo!

It wasn't just about Simon and Caroline but about other relationships as well and I was pulled into it all. All their friends have such a great comradery that's engaging and fun. Caroline and her girls have priceless interactions! I loved Neil and Sophia's side story with their bickering banter and how all of that played out. I felt like I really knew these people and wanted to hang out with them!

Excellent story, great pace, perfect build. Towards the end I was so anxiety ridden and feeling everything. Talk about being in the moment, I could not read fast enough! There is something magical about the way Alice Clayton writes. The world around me faded away and I lived in Simon and Caroline's world.

Clive the cat. He’s just such a fun and entertaining part of the story in the midst of all that’s going on. I adored Caroline's interpretations of Clive and what's going on in his mind. I also loves how he and Simon formed a bond.

This is a witty, entertaining story that has bits of tension throughout. Perfect balance between those lighthearted and serious moments. I laughed, cried, held my breath and loved every second of it. AND we got to meet Viv Franklin, the heroine for the next book, so I am super excited for Screwdrivered. I cannot get enough Alice Clayton!

Simon and Caroline continue their romance in Rusty Nailed, but will life event get into their way so they can sometimes do? Caroline had pressures from work and Simon to make some changes and Simon has a pass he needs to come to terms with. Can they have it all and still make it on the other side together? You'll have to read and find out and it will be worth it!!!

I really like Alice Clayton. She gives funny and realistic as well as good details without getting into minutiae. Great sexy times as well. I think I'll put her on my automatic download list. My only complaint is I could have done with a lot less Clive (Caroline's cat). Going to start book 3 immediately.

The continuation of Caroline and Simon's story was true to their relationship----unconventional. I enjoyed this story and read it in one sitting. I really would have liked a bit more insight into Simon's thoughts tho---but I suppose his actions spoke for themselves. I love all of the friends and Clive, and I hope to see more of everyone in the next book featuring Viv.

I was really pleasantly surprised that I loved this book! I didn't think the first book needed anything else, so I was nervous about what would happen. Still laugh out loud funny, and really sexy moments. I love Simon and there are some special.moments in this book. If you liked Wallbanger, you will like Rusty Nailed.

I was so excited that this series was continuing!!!!! I don't think it was as good as Wallbanger though. There were some funny parts but not like we had in the first book. Clive is back and up to no good again. What a great character!! Including all the other characters made this story that much more enjoyable.

I had forgotten how much I enjoyed the snarky banter of Simon and Caroline. I so love the writing and that Caroline is smart AND funny! I wish I could be that creative with my conversations! Loved the sex and of course, Simon. Who wouldn't love him?I was melancholy when it was over not realizing that there is more of them coming in January. I look forward to their continued story!

I LOVED Wallbanger, so I was really excited to read this book, but I ended up just liking it okay. My expectations were extremely high since Wallbanger is one of my favorite books ever. I just thought this story fell a little flat. I still love Alice Clayton and her writing, so I will definitely read whatever else she comes out with next.

I love anything written by Alice Clayton. Rusty Nailed (The Cocktail Series) will have you laughing and swooning and that doesn't even take into account the "steamy" scenes. I loved Wallbanger and loved the continuation of Caroline and Simon's ( and Clive, of course) story in this book. I'm looking forward to the next book in this series.

I loved "Wallbanger" and this being the sequel I love it by default. The characters continue with their romance and it is beautiful to see them progress and grow with each other. I didn't think this book was as funny as the first, but I do think their story had more depth. It is defiantly worth the read!

are you seeing the pattern? This is another in the series and well worth your time and money....BUY IT ALREADY along with the other three cause you will want to go from one to the next to the next to the next without having to wait for them!!!

Ms Clayton, thank you for bringing back Caroline, Wallbanger and of course Clive. I could see situations that reminded me of real life and her writing is just seamless in conveying everything that we experience with family and friends, while keeping it pretty real. I can't wait for the next installment! Caroline and Simon are just perfect .....and Clive.

I really liked this book. Not love, but really, really liked it. I thought the characters and storyline could have been more developed, but I like a happy ending so I was fine with it. I also loved reading more about Simon and Caroline so it was an easy read. Albeit it, the first book was much better though

I really enjoyed this follow up to Wallbanger. it allowed me to continue on with the story of two characters that I had really become interested in. It continues their day to day and I loved how it showed they evolution of their relationship. Some of the scenes had me laughing out loud as I read the book which is always a good sign of a good read.

Wallbanger is one of my absolute favorite reads... It was hilarious. Rusty nailed not so much but if you read wallbanger.. Which I recommend to everyone then you have to read rusty nailed and check in on Caroline and Simon. Such a great couple. I preordered last call so I'm following the whole story out.

Clayton has perfected the mix of just the right amount of funny combined with sexy. This picks up where Wallbanger left off. Simon and Caroline are in love and settling into a relationship. You will laugh out loud as the adjust to coupledom!

Simon and Caroline, AKA wallbanger and nightie girl, continue their story from Wallbanger. In Rusty Nailed. We see them grow and mature as a couple, and see how they thrive in their unconventional relationship. We also get another peek into Clive's world, which is always entertaining.

I love anything Alice Clayton writes and this book is no exception. She writes hysterical scenes that will make you laugh out loud. I love this Cocktail Series and the Redhead Series. Great, GREAT reads!

Once again Alice Clayton hits a home run. I absolutely love a story that has a ton of romance and great humor. So glad you wrote a sequel to Wallbanger. Can't wait for the next book in this series. I already pre- ordered it. Hot romance and humor, what more could you want.

After reading wallbanger I almost didn't read this, but I am so glad I did. Characters evolved, relationships change and grow. All the while it had me laughing! I will say that I may look at the apostles a little differently now! Enjoy!

Well, once again Alice Clayton has written a sexy, hilarious, great book. I absolutely love Caroline and her Wallbanger, although Clive just may be my favorite character. Hate for Simon and Caroline' s storyline to be finished, but trust that Alice will make it all better.

Another great story by Alice Clayton. How can anyone not fall in love with Wallbanger and Nightie Girl. There story is so unique. However, it appears that these two could be heading down a path neither one is willing to admit they are ready for.

Alice has another great book, I love her sense of humor in her writing she will have you laughing and then crying the next. If you haven't read her book then your missing out. Simon and Carolyn are great, and the gang are just has crazy. Can't wait to read more from Alice.

The continuation of Simon and Caroline's story was great, along with all of their friends as well. I like the humor in these books from Caroline calling Simon Wallbanger, him in turns calling her nighty girl and best of all lets not forget about that crazy cat Clive!

I love Alilce Clayton books. This whole series, Wallbanger, Rusty Nailed and Mai Taied were great reads. Funny, romantic - covered all the basis. I read Wallbanger 3 times already and Rusty Nailed twice. I hope there are more to come with the series.

I read Wallbanger and Rusty Nailed back to back and I have to say that I loved them both! The humor in this book is off the charts, but so is the sexy and the loving! I want a Simon and even though I'm not a cat lover, I'd take a Clive too! Wonderfully written!

I absolutely loved this book. Reading more about Simon Wallbanger Parker, Clive, and Caroline (nighty girl) was so much fun! I laughed A LOT and had a few tears, but it was a great ride ?. I can't wait to read the other books in this series.

This book definitely lacked the cute romantic story that made Wallbanger a favorite summer book to read but it was Simon and Caroline and I missed them so I read on. I skimmed some, laughed some, and in the end I liked the book...it was no Wallbanger to be sure, but it was nice to hang with Simon and his Caroline for a few days.

Not as funny as Wallbanger but definitely a great ending for Simon and Caroline. It was great having more of their story of how they worked at their relationship and learned together how to deal with life like everyone has too. Loved these books!

I absolutely loved this book. It was a perfect closing to Wallbanger. I love how the author is close to actual relationships and not in dream land. She uses a lot of humor. This book she closes in more on Simon and his character and why he chose to have the harem. I enjoyed how the author had Caroline realizing a lot more about herself. I think the best way to explain this book is that it's an ending for Caroline and Simon.

If you haven't read Wallbanger, you must read that first. This was a great ending to that book. I loved Caroline and Simon, and also the secondary characters. The story moved along at a great pace and was fun to read. I loved it! Great Author...looking forward to more from her!

I love love love Alice Clayton, Her writing style is so funny and her characters crack me up! This is the is the second book in the series and I can't wait to read more! My favorite character in this book is the CAT!! such personality!!

I am so happy that Caroline got her "Wallbanger" and that Simon got his "Pink Nighty Girl"...and Clive? Well, what's there to say?? He finally got his outdoor adventure & a "harem" of his own to prove it...LoL ;-)

Great follow up to Wallbanger. The characters remained intact and love the fact that more of the central characters was exposed. Can't wait to read the next book in the series although these book can stand alone.
