The Unidentified Redhead (The Redhead Book 1)

This book was OK. I read WALLBANGER first and loved it but this book didn't come close...Apparently Ms Clayton's writing improved with age. I plan on reading the followup to this book and hope it offers a bit more entertainment and fewer sex scenes.Either way, I've become invested in the lives of Gracie and Jack and want to see what 3000 miles apart does to their relationship.

Alice Clayton is a fantastic author. This read had me laughing so loud that my husband was glaring at me across the room, thinking I'd lost it. But mixed in with all the comedy my heartstrings were being pulled. I am really pulling for this couple. It's refreshing to have a confident, funny girl as heroine. I'm excited to move on to book #2

I decided to buy this book after reading the first few lines from looking inside. It really sets the tone for the rest of the book. I'm really happy with that. The author delivers the hot and steamy well. The story is fun and believable and I don't recall any cheesy, phony parts, so it was an enjoyable read. And yes...makes you wanna read the next one..which I'm nearly done!

OMG I LOVED this book! There were so many parts that had me laughing so hard my husband was giving me strange looks! And the best part were the NKOTB references as I myself am a HUGE fan especially of Donnie! I am about to download the second book so I can get more of George and Gracie.

I just loved these books. Alice Clayton is my new favorite author when I just want to relax, laugh and be entertained. I've read them all and now I feel lost! I've tried other authors since and it's just not the same.

I bought this because I just LOVED the Wallbanger. So I started reading it expecting some kind of action. Some kind of forbiden love or some missunderstanding, I don't know.... Just something to happen.
Nothing happened. They felt in love in the first 10 pages or so, they got togheter, she screamed six shades of Sunday (her words) and.... That's it. No confusion, no mess, no fights, no nothing.... Just bang here, bang there, tongues, hands, and thats it.
Sorry, did not like it....

Wow this must be the most fun relationship ever. I just love the comfort, quirks and insane amount of Os that seem to be provided in this one. Grace is fun and confident and Jack is sweet and down to Earth. I can't wait to devour the next book.

Finished The Redhead Series and now I miss Gracie & Jack/George so much....I am doing a reread immediately! I enjoyed this series soooooo much. Great story with lots of smoking' & sexy parts. But it was the witty banter of Gracie & Jack that had me busting a gut ... like watching reruns of I Love Lucy! Alice Clayton has mad writing skills. ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTFUL! Can't wait for book 3.

First, I loved that this series main female character is 9 YES! 9 years older then the main male character. The characters go through so much drama in their relationship and personal life. You will be on the edge of your seat yelling, crying, and laughing. I cannot wait for book 3 to see how their relationship and life turns out.

Alice Clayton is awesome! After reading Wallbanger I had to read more of her books...and The Readhead Series did not disappoint. It is hilarious, sweet, and very steamy!! I loved this book...I read it in one day because I could not put it down! The chemistry between Grace and James is great! I very much recommend this book.

Alice Clayton is AMAZING.

Her writing is hilarious. Her plots are complex with out trying to hard or being filled with overly dramatic, unrealistic stuff. Her leading ladies in Redhead are GEART characters. I am so sick of whiny sad, beat down females. Clayton gives us girls that are hilarious, on-fire, and real.

The Unidentified Readhead is on of the most engaging fun romances I've read. Alice Clayton's writing had me laughing out loud along with the characters. If you want to really enjoy a book with fun characters you wish were your friends than read this book. Just for the record only gave two books Five Stars so four is a stellar read.

This book seriously had me laughing the entire time. While it was a romance, Alice Clayton did an amazing job keeping it witty and clever throughout which was such a nice change of pace from all the other books I've read lately.

The ending certainly made me go pick up book two...got to see how this plays out!

I have read { The Redhead Series } twice already and can not wait for the third book to come out,, I laughed so much, Alice Clayton is a talented author ,, I have recommended her books to so many of my friends,, I just fell in love with her characters,, I could read these over again, which I will do before i read #3

Alice Clayton offers a fresh perspective to the hum-drum romance novels. It's not too much of this or too little of that. This book, and it's follow-up, Redhead Revealed are the best reads I've had in a long time (yes, even after 50 Shades). I love to laugh out loud when I read and this allowed for plenty of that. We need more "schmaltz" Alice Clayton. Keep them coming!!

Jack and Grace are simply adorable. I loved this book. Couldn't put it down, in fact. I wish there were more funny steamy romance books like this one. I've read a few that were really good but there still aren't enough. I can hardly wait to read the next one of the series.

Oh my goodness!!! I am in love with this series!!! I so wish I would've written this review right after I read the book and when I was still on my redhead high! Nevertheless, I loved the characters and the relationships between the characters, especially the best friends! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Fantastic book. Alice Clayton hit this one out of the park!! It was not only hysterical but sweet and sooooo sexy!!!! Grace and Jack have become two of my favorite characters. So relatable. ... It was a joy to read. Trust me read it !!!! I am thrilled the story continues in the next book .....

Lots of humor. Lots of sex. Characters were fun, albeit immature. Aspiring Broadway actress falls for up and coming Hollywood hotshot. This is strictly a pleasure read. Really, the only thing keeping me from picking up the next book in the Redhead series was the complete void of conflict. I gotta have some drama.

My sister suggested I read the Redhead Series. She was not wrong. I enjoyed all three books very much! Be sure to read them in the correct order. I like Alice Clayton's writing style and enjoy the humor in her books, too. This is the first book in the series.

I really enjoyed reading The Redhead Series. Alice Clayton tells a story that is heartwarming and laugh out loud funny. It has the right mix of humor, lust and "schmaltz". I loved Grace and Jack. It was so easy to identify with Grace. The series is a good reminder for us women that we don't always need to take ourselves so seriously. Pure enjoyment!

Loved the humor and the tenderness of the main characters relationship. I totally understand the obsession over the Corey's and NKOTB (love you Donnie). The only thing I didn't care for was the description of the main character as middle- age. 33 is not middle-aged. Can't wait to read the next book. Keep them coming Alice. Keep them coming.

Loved this book, loved the characters! I fell hard for Jack and Grace is gorgeous. This is written in true Alice Clayton style...she had me laughing out loud at much of the book. This is a fun read that has a fantastic story line to boot. Can't wait to start the next part of this story.

I just loved reading this series. Alice Clayton's writing is fantastically fun to read. It's witty and contemporary without trying too hard. I love reading about a woman with life experience and a brain--plus, she's not a reed-thin Barbie. Great lead character. A pleasure to read.

I just loved this book. It was hilarious, sexy, fun. and steamy. Grace and Holly remind me of my friends. Yes, we are exactly like that which is probably why I enjoyed the book even more. I literally laughed out out and nodded my head in understanding. It was the perfect amount of story and sex.

I loved this book and the chemistry between Jack and Grace. I was hooked from the beginning and absolutely fell in love with Jack. Grace and her roommate Holly were also very likeable and I loved the conversations between the characters. I would recommend this book to others.

This my first Alicia Clayton book and she delivered such a great read I added all her books to my wish list. First I absolutely love Grace 's character she is an outspoken strong women unlike many love story heroines. Her crude mouth had me literally laughing out loud :) Jack oh what can I say about Jack not enough so I will keep it simple SEXY for the most part, absolutely hilarious and unbelievably sweet with just enough rudeness! Can't wait to read the next story in this series!

I'm so in love with foul mouth, spontaneous, crazy redhead and her Brit.. I've been reading a book a day since Aug on my kindle and I've thoroughly smiled, laughed, and went all gooey with Alice Claytons characters in this series. Can't wait for the next in the series

This book had me hooked from the beginning. It was witty, funny, steamy, well-written, and a great read! The author made me feel a connection with the main character and I was rooting for her from the start. I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard while reading a book as I did while reading this one, Grace's dialogue was hilarious. The steamy parts of the book left me blushing and wanting more!
I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting a fast, funny, and steamy read! I hope we get to read more adventures about our main characters in the future!

I loved this book! It has everything. Steamy love scenes, laugh out loud humor - the type of playful banter that gets you going. This book hit the nail on the head for contemporary romance. I read it and the second one in a week. Cannot wait for the third!

Incredibly entertaining...the main character is so enjoyable to read about (such a snarky, sassy little redhead) and the relationship between Grace and Jack is sweet, sexy and steamy hot. Nothing I love more than a book that not only makes me HOT but one that has me giggling hysterically. LOVED THIS BOOK!!

After reading Wallbanger, I found this one disappointing. Not enough story ( plot ). Based on the title, you'd think Wallbanger would have more sex, but nope, this one has. And lots and lots of it that it became boring. I was hoping for something else to happen but was disappointed. Maybe book 2 might better.

Very funny reads with good humour throughout - I found myself often laughing out loud. These books are pretty sexy but in my opinion not smutty. I would suggest that these are more of a 25+ read for simply being able to relate the characters. An enjoyable author.

I love this series,with all the witty comments between Grace and Jack. They are made for each other even though there is a age difference. Alice Clayton did a excellent job,writing this series! Just read you will fall in love!!

Yep. I said better than Fifty Shades. Grace is an awesome character! Funny and strong- you want to be her friend or better yet- be her!! None of that sick masochistic weak female character like Shades. Finally a book worthy of a nice cup of coffee, a soft blanket and an afternoon spent curled up on the couch reading and laughing out loud. I read both in The Redheaded series in days and can't wait for the third one!

I totally LOVE this series! Everything Alice Clayton has written I have read and its just brilliant. Its HOT, funny, beautiful and makes you feel warm and fuzzy on the inside which is so great sometimes! Hoping for a third book soon!!

This was a clever book. It was really different from all of the other love stories that are out there. ALice Clayton is a good writer that really gets the reader hooked into the story right away and you can't put it down!
