Teach Me Dirty

I really enjoyed this book. Actually, it was not as shocking as Jade West's usual fare but still great. The heroine is 18-years-old so although she is still a student this did not feel shocking or even too taboo. I think this is the best teacher/student book I have ever read. This is more of an emotional read than an action-packed one. I usually go for the action so this was actually a nice change of pace for me and I was surprised at the depth of the plot really. This book went beyond the superficial and obvious. I think this will appeal to a wide range of romance readers.

I found this to be depressing and the characters acted strangely and defied common sense judgements. Very strange! Not erotica but a sick obsession w/a teacher. And very odd that everyone at school knows about it and her little sister teases her about it???? Her dad shames her and verbally cuts her down (topice: Mr. Roberts) at the dinner table, too.

Most troubling was that once she began interacting with him she acted like she was 12.

Also, there isn't much character development. The author gave the H & h a few neuroses and called it a day.

"They tell me it's unhealthy, just a stupid crush. They tell me it's infatuation, and will never come to anything. Because what would I know? I'm just a silly girl'

It has always been that illicit relationship - that between and teacher and a student - forbidden by society yet, can Mark and Helen resist the urge? A good book, with great characters and some hot scenes!!

I would recommend this book, not quite as raunchy as other books by the same author, but I liked how Jade wove her story, making you follow the dramatic journey of these two characters and as their relationship develops.

I always go into these books expecting the worse, that way I am prepared for the tears, and this story did not disappoint. Helen is in love with her teacher Mr Roberts, it starts out slowly, accidentally and it builds from there, and man is the s.e.x.....H.O.T. I forgot to say Helen is 18, so there is nothing wrong with going after her teacher ( sorry I forgot to mention that) this is a pure love story, these 2 people crave each other, and want & desire one another. There is so much I want to say, but it would give away to much of the book, so READ THE BOOK, it is amazing and you won't regret it.

Teach Me Dirty by Jade West, was an emotional rollercoaster of a young artist named Helen who falls for her teacher, Mr Roberts. This was not something I would usually read so I started out hesitantly, but as I got involved in the storyline I fell in love with it.
There was a lot of emotion that went into writing about this subject and as I delved deeper into it, I found it hard to put down. I wasn't only enthralled with the characters, but I was also impressed with how Jade structured the storyline to keep her readers attention.
I loved the detail that went into creating Helen and Mr Roberts and how we got to feel everything they were going through or suffering.
You fall in love with their story, but you also become frustrated at Helen's naivety. It's those moments that you find yourself torn. As I parent, I sympathised with Helen's father, but at the end of the day once my child becomes an adult, they have the right to make their own choices.
It is a beautiful story of love, that may have you wondering how you would handle a situation like that, if it was your child.
I found it to be a really well written emotional story of love, that I have recommended to many others.

Wow what an amazing story!
This is the first student teacher book for me and I loved how Jade portrayed the right and wrong of the relationship and the feelings of the people involved!
There's plenty of emotion, tension, love, sex, heartbreak and happiness in this story that you won't be able to put it down.
I loved how Mark tried so desperately to remain professional but couldn't fight his feeling for Helen. Helen had always had feelings for Mark but her parents kept telling her to grow up!
The love and dedication between these two is beautiful and itching!

Mr Roberts and Helen's story is a forbidden tale or wants and desires from Helen, Mr Robert student.
To match the hot times there was so really emotional times, everything seemed amplified when it came to the feelings in this book.

I liked this book but it was no Dirty Bad book :)

This book isn't really like the Dirty Bad Series; it's different, but it's awesome. It was difficult to get into it at first and I think it's because of the way the book is lined out. It's well written, it's complex, it's emotional, and it's hot at the same time. Just another fabulously amazing book from Jade.

I absolutely love the previous books Jade has written so when she said she was doing a Teacher/student book i knew we were in for some hot reading.

You know when you're reading a book and you totally forget what's happening round about you because you're so lost in the words, well that happens to me every time I read one of Jades books. Her writing is amazing it keeps you on the edge and it keeps you wanting more.
She has also become off of my automatic one clicks.

Wow!!! This was my first Student/Teacher "Romance"... I was a little nervous going in... not sure what this was going to be like... Well... I was amazed! I loved it! It was hot, and sweet and Jade did it again! I couldn't put it down! Helen is 18, shy and has a crush...Mr. Roberts is 38, and her Art Teacher.... She is shy... He is broken.... They come together in a beautiful, sexy, seductive story, that doesn't lack in anything! What an amazing story!!! I loved it!!! 5 stars is NOT enough!!!

I received this book in exchange for my honest review. It was so good. Young student crushes on her art teacher who is older but dang so hot. He teaches her art and the art of love and sex. They overcome obstacles to get to where they are but its a life lesson. It was hard to put down but I thoroughly enjoyed and loved this book. I loved how her mom steps in and made her happy again after being sad and depressed for months.

Jade West did it again, only with a different twist. The taboo of teacher and student was written so beautifully. You could just feel the passion and love coming off the pages, but then at the same time you feel just how dirty things got. I love the struggles everyone went through to get where they ended. I loved every word. I did get to read this book before it was published, however that does not change how I feel about this book, I would give the same review if I bought it. Thank you Jade for your wonderful writing skills!

Jade West's writing is impeccable and if you like the teacher/student scenario, "Teach Me Dirty" is one of the best I've ever read. The relationship between Mr. Roberts and Helen is portrayed as honest, pure and sensitive. I loved how the author wove his traumatic and torturous past into the story. It gave more meaning to his acceptance and love for Helen.

This book was so well written, the story so beautifully told that I didn't just read Helen's and Mark's love affair but experienced it. Though a taboo relationship it was real and genuine with amazing sex. This is not the first book that I have read from Jade, she never disappoints. I even cried because I fell in love with Helen and Mark both individually and as a couple...I fell in love with their love. The secondary characters also came to life and allowed me to read in "3D". I know what I mean by that...?. Anywho, yeah...just wow.

I have read the whole Dirty Series by Author Jade West and I have loved them all. They all brought something different to the table but all of them were equally scorching hot. She did not disappoint with Teach Me Dirty, while the story line here is a lot different from the others it still hit the target on the Red Hot bulls-eye! This book is a 4.5 star read for me for its original plot, character development, steady pace and steam factor.

Helen is an 18 year old student who has had eyes on her art teacher since she was twelve. Apparently, this is no secret as her parents are aware as are other teachers in the school. Helen as a person is just innocent and naive but she has this whole inner vixen thing going. This is the conundrum for me, how does one who is so sexually innocent conjure up these images that she has drawn. There are some scenes where I just wanted to slap her back to reality and then there is some where she becomes quite endearing. Either way, Helen definitely earns my respect by the end of the book when she seems to come into herself and finds that strength within.

Mr. Roberts merely exists in life until he comes across one racy drawing by his talented but sweet art student. He has always known that they have much in common when it comes to the arts but now he can't seem to get this image out of his head. He battles his moral compass between being a professional teacher and being a man who has been awakened for the first time in a long time.

I absolutely loved most of the buildup and development of the relationship between Helen and Mr. R. but there was some points where I was beating my head against the wall wishing they would get it together already. West did an amazing job at allowing the reader to feel the turmoil and struggle of each character with her alternating POV's. The details she gave of the paintings, drawings and sex were phenomenal and had me feeling like I was in the room being a voyeur. There was a couple scenes with Lizzie and Helen that I felt were a bit of consensual/non-consent on Helen's part but it wasn't anything too dark and was kind of hot in its own right. She didn't really know what she was doing but went along because it felt good, so don't be discouraged from reading it by that part as I see it mentioned in other reviews.

Overall, the story was good. As taboo as the student/teacher relationship is it is a fantasy I am sure we have all had at some point. More than the hot sex and the forbidden appeal...it is a beautiful love story. It is an awakening of both Helen and Mr. Roberts and it was at times heartbreaking and frustrating but also well worth it.

Mark is Helen's Art teacher and not only did Helen have a crush on My Roberts from the age of 12 with the help of her friend Lizzie she plucked up the courage to make her fantasy into reality.

This isnt a seedy read, yes it has very hot intimate moments that jade West always delivers well, its a story about two people fighting the desire to be with one another until it's time to give up the fight.

Told in dual povs with a steady pace drawing you into the thoughts,feelings and actions of the characters, it's emotional ,heartwarming, sad a times and creates heart pounding reactions at the same time and a very different style for Jade West from previous books.

You can sense the age difference in the characters although you know Helen is 18, the immaturity and naivety of Helen shows in some of the things she says, her conversations with her best friend Lizzie and you can tell the age of Mark through his maturity in the situation with his calmness and reasoning.

A student teacher romance that is moving with a real feel and I don't say that about a lot of books I read and delivered sensitively and brilliantly.

Addicting!!! I could not get enough of this read! Jade West has done a brilliant job telling the story of Helen and Mr. Roberts. I also loved how art had such involvement in their story! I went through every emotion reading this baby! Man... I didn't want it to end!!! It was emotional, mind-blowing, hot, sexy, steamy, heart-breaking and so much more. Absolutely amazing read that you will not want to pass up!!

Seems to be the theme for Jade West books...alongside some truly steamy sex. Every novel of hers I've read, this one included, focuses on a taboo relationship and it's romantic aspects as opposed to just sexual.
My only complaint SPOILER ALERT is that we never find out the other students and teachers reactions. Some part of me wanted to feel Helen give Miss nosey drama teacher the bird.

I have not read too many "taboo" teacher/student stories before, and the ones I have read have been nothing as amazing as this. I absolutely loved this story. You would think that it would be awkward or weird, but this story is truly beautiful. The connection between Helen and Mark is just perfection. Helen is such a beautiful, innocent soul who sees the world completely different than most people. She is incredibly artistic and creative, and is inspired by her art teacher, Mark Roberts. She has spent years pining after him, using him as her muse in her artwork. Now she's 18 and takes a leap by letting him know how she feels. He fights their connection every step of the way, guilty over his feelings because he is her teacher. So many obstacles stand in their way. There is past heartache, his profession, her parents and even her peers at school. There were several points in the story when I had tears running down my face. This is more a story about true, unconditional love and connection rather than a taboo love story. It was extremely enlightening and profound and beautiful. This story is about a connection we all hope to have with another person. I absolutely loved this book and can't wait to read more by Jade West.

WOW!!!!!! This was one of the best books I have read. Not crazy about the dad, but the other characters were great. I loved every page. I would recommend this book to everyone. Great writing Jade West!!!!!!!!

Parts of this book were authentic and sweet and other parts were humiliating to read. Helen behaved like someone in middle school, not high school. I had to skip some parts because they made me cringe.

well as always with jades books i loved it, i thought it was slightly different to jades normal style more of a love story but had me hooked from the beginning as the story progressed i felt so much for the caracters the dilemas they faced just made me feel how hard things can be for some people not following the so called norm.well mr roberts who wouldnt want a teacher like him "HOT".As for helen and lizzie their relationship had its ups and downs but what besties dont had me crying in parts ,mum well i loved her and dad well who could blame him he just couldnt see his little girl wasnt so little anymore just a normal dad well as in my experience anyway. Well done jade absolutly loved it keep them coming x

This was easily the dirtiest, most poignant book I've read in a long time. The taboo of a relationship between student and teacher, combined with the threat of being caught, made the sexy times that much steamier!

As always, Jade West gives us a great taboo story with Mark whom is a teacher and Helen who is his student. She has been harboring feelings for him since the age of 12 and they are finally coming to a head. You can very much feel the chemistry between the two of them though Mark fights it. Helen then uses other ways to channel her thoughts of him which I felt were unique and brought something new to the table. The story does take unexpected twists but that made this book keep you on your toes!
While not like the other books that West has written, this one is definitely worth a read. Spunky, witty and well thought out, West sure knows how to write her taboo and spin it in such an amazing way.

WOW!!! only Jade West can make something so dirty so right!!! When Helen poured her heart out on the canvas, I felt it. I'm glad this wasn't your typical teacher/student book. To love someone down to your soul is a beautiful thing.

This book took me on an emotional rollercoaster. The characters have such depth. All of them not just Helen and her Mr Roberts but the ancillary characters as well.

Ms West paints us a taboo love affair, which left me emotionally ragged.
