This series is life. I DEVORED Taking Turns and went straight into Turning Back!
And let me tell you! JA HUSS pulled me in with her dark, wickedly naughty words.
I fell hard for each of the players and she left me craving for more.

Is it July Yet! Because I need book 3

Turning Back is another spectacular addition to The Turning Series. So much angst...so many heartfelt emotions and sacrifices. Lots of truths discovered. I don't want to give away any spoilers so I'm being vague on purpose. All I will say is...you must read this book?

I absolutely love this series!! Turning It's sometimes hard to get into the second book focusing on a different main character but the way J.A. Huss writes these books just pulls you right in and never lets go! Loved Turning Back!

Huss does it again, another great story. Turning Back picks up with the POV of Quin, Rochelle, and Bric. I found the guys in this book to be more relatable than in Book One. The addition of Adley is cute, however she's a bit too perfect. Overall, a good read.

Loved Quin and Rochelle's story! I enjoyed this book much more than the first book. Some twists and turns but they were easy to follow. I do feel a little story for Bric though...hopefully he gets a happy ending too!

Thank god for grandma Kitty or else this book might never have come back from wherever Julie had sent it! Indeed with that breath of fresh air plot came back online and story moved to its lovely ending. Worth reading even if it only has a little kitty!

This book is freaking amazing!!! I just love this series and I can't wait for the next book to come out. This book made me feel like I was apart of the story and I couldn't put it down....as with any book by J.A. Huss, you just can't stop reading it until you get to the end.

Ah, Quinn. Glad you got your love back. True love always comes back if its meant to be. Now I have to get His Turn. Hope Bric finds his love. These men are so sexy, each in his own way. But Bric, love that man.

Turning Back is another amazing story by JA Huss! This book had me feeling all sorts of emotions. I'd be laughing one minute, to having to turn the fan on in the room the next minute because LORD, Julie knows how to write some steamy scenes!! I loved this book so much that I forced myself to stop reading at 85% because I didn't want it to end! I had to savor this book but I loved the ending so much!

I loved how in Turning Back we got to see different sides to the men. I fell in love so hard with Smith in Taking Turns, but I think I seriously love him even more now in this book! Don't even get me started on Bric and Quin! They are so different in their own ways, but how can you not love them both!? I love that when Quin loves, he loved hard. I could tell that in Taking Turns, but actually seeing him with Rochelle, it made me swoon hardcore.

I can't even put into words how much I loved this book and I cannot wait for His Turn in July. I've said this once, but I'll say it again. Taking Turns and Turning Back are top favorite reads for me this year. You HAVE to read them!! 5+ amazing stars!

absolutely love this series!!! I wasn't sure if I was going to like Rochelle as much as I liked Chella from Taking Turns, since Rochelle just up and left in book one and broke Quin's heart. I'm happy to say that after knowing Rochelle's story, I get her and I like her. This story was also intriguing because of Bric and Quin, their feelings toward each other sometimes made me question if they were playing this game because they were too afraid to admit their real feeling toward one another, yes they love each other as longtime friends, but was there a romantic love too??? This story was steamy and very sensual, but this story was also sweet in that I loved how the guys were with Adley. It's always nice to see manly men fall apart over a cute baby girl and Bric was so sweet with Adley, his chubby pumpkin. I also loved seeing how Smith and Chella's relationship had progressed and finding out that he got a dog, finally

What do a trilogy, a sandwich, and an Oreo cookie have in common? The middle is key. And in the case of the middle of JA Huss' latest trilogy, The Turning Series, the middle is sexy, fast paced, soul stealing and squirm inducing. And it's all about Bric. No. Really. Leave it to Huss to write what she calls a "straightforward romance" and fill it with shifting roles, secrets, and lies against the backdrop of a kinky, complicated four player game. But the players slowly drop out.
"Turning Back" picks up several months after Chella and Smith's happy ending and taking turns. Quin and Bric aren't speaking to one another and Rochelle turns up, thanks to a bit of meddling on the part of Chella, much to Bric's chagrin. Long story short, Rochelle is back in the game with a fourth - her baby daughter Adley. But who's the father? Does it matter?
What started out as a deliciously kinky game has turned into something much more complicated. The Turning Series is actually an elegant, complicated commentary on family and friendship. What kind of family would you build if you had the choice? Even though this is Quin and Rochelle's story, Bric is a real star. Because, surprise, surprise - it turns out the Game is all wrapped up in his issues. God! this man just fascinates me. He's got to be one of my favorite JA Huss heroes and it's pretty hard to topple Spencer from the top spot. He's moody. He's complicated. He's closed off. He's kinky as hell, and for someone as smart as he is, he can be really emotionally stupid. Bric falls head over heels for baby Adley and the idea of "us". He wants in his heart of hearts to for society to accept a family made up of four of them. The question becomes can he get Quin and Rochelle on board. I am so invested in Bric - I love him for the flawed, stubborn, loyal hot mess that he is.
Equally compelling is the story of how Quin and Rochelle find their way back to one another. It's a hard road full of twists and turns of course and more than a little heartache along the way. I wanted to smack them both along the way but the course of true love never runs smooth.
It wouldn't be a JA Huss story without secrets and deceptions and shocking surprises about various characters. All I can tell you is you really need to read this series because it is one of the most incendiary, sexy, tantalizing ménage stories I have ever come across. And I seek them out.
