This book is thick in adventures, problems and problem solving. It is not just hard to put down, but when you do put it down you can't wait until the next time the reading can be resumed. The epilogue is fascinating.

Excellent story, strong characters, and great reader. One of the few Time Travel novels that managed to balance science and story very nicely. Weakened slightly towards end, but still one of the best listens in a good while.

Really enjoyed this book. Hadn't heard of this author but thought I would give it a try. So glad I did (I could hardly go wrong at the price). Recommend to anyone who likes time travel or just a good story.

This book would make a fantastic Netflix series. I loved it. There were so many surprises that I wanted to keep reading. There was one gigantic reveal about midway through the book that I didn't see coming. I cared about the characters and cheered for the good guys. Of course, the good guys are only as good as the bad guys are bad and there are a couple of despicable bad ones. Plus, it's cathartic to imagine what I would do different if I could be 10 years old again but have the experiences/memories of 80 years of life under my belt the second time around. I also enjoyed the way all the loose ends were sewed together by the end. With so many authors drafting sequels it was nice to experience a complete book. About that ending, I didn't like it. But it made sense and left me feeling I had the complete story. Just a warning...some very religious folks might read too much into it. Overall, this is the best story I've read in over three years. I hope Netflix is looking for an opportunity to create another original series. This one would be even better than "Stranger Things" or "The OA".

This book was such a boring bizarre mash-up, that I actually gave up on it at the 13% mark and deleted it from both my Kindle and my library. I kept pushing myself to finish it, maybe one more chapter, just work through it. Then I realized it was a chore and I only have so many hours in my life, unlike our "uploaded to the computer" eternal life protagonist.
