A Time Travel Romantic Adventure - Time Ship (Book One)

I enjoyed this book. I wish it was complete. The reader is left hanging on what the pirates did and the weather chasers just disappeared without a story. I get it. I will have to purchase the series to find out. But a little more at the ending would have been nice.

Highly imaginative and a "real pager turner," this book explores the convergence of ground-breaking academic research into an extraordinary meteorological phenomenon with highly secretive military research toward control of temporal and spatial displacement of matter - either teleportation, time travel, or both. The energy released by the joining of three hurricanes opens a portal enabling a time-travel swap of humans from present to past and, notably, from past to future. The displaced residents of the distant past are suddenly confronted with modern technology leading to both amusing and horrifying consequences, aptly described by the author. A surprising plot twist at the end of the first volume confronts the reader with an unanticipated, unintended consequence of time travel that sets the stage for book two. This reader is onto Time Ship, book two!

The plot description sounded too good to be true- adventure, romance, excitement, tension, etc.- but it WAS true. The novels (Books 1 & 2) make for an excellent time travel adventure. There's romance and very minor sexual content, unlike a lot of time travel romances that are very explicit. Very refreshing read! My only disappointment was that I reached the end too soon. Hope there's a 'Book 3' in the works. Buy these novels!

A US military and civilian experiments, working together to determine if time travel can happen, finds that rare natural causes brings a pirate ship loaded with plunder into the year 2014. And a weather plane disappears into the past. The pirates bring far more than just gold, silver, diamonds and precious stones and civilization is threatened. Great characters, loaded with logical twists and turns and plenty of action. This is the first of two books and the second is a sequel which depends on information from the first to make sense. A grand mix of old and new , coupled with a fascinating look at what might be makes this well worth the time.
