I'm not typically a time travel romance reader. But after reading the Yellowstone series and falling in love with it, I decided to read more by this author. While I liked the other series better I was not disappointed with this book! I recommend this even if you just like historical romances :) wonderful!!

This was a very interesting book. Having studied much about the westward expansion to the Oregon Territory it was an interesting that I have thought many times about experiencing it myself.
This was a great opportunity to imagine that experience
Thank you for it.

I liked this book. It wasn't complicated or particularly deep, but it was a satisfying romance in an interesting locale and time. It's always nice to see second chances turn out well and get some insights on history in the process. Made me want to drive the Oregon Trail.

This is the most beautiful time travel book that I have ever read. It is a lesson in history as well as a well-written novel. It reveals the hardship of travel in the 1800's. A must read for any romantic at heart.

I really enjoyed this story it was heart warming and well written. I wasn't familiar with the author but now I will be sure to read more of her work especially the next second chances time travel. I read the preview for the next one and I liked what I read of it.

I love a good time travel, especially historical. This was definitely one of the better ones. Jake and his problems land him in 1848 where he becomes a scout for a wagon train. Of course there is romance which makes it even better. Good read for time travel fans.

I enjoyed the book. The story was interesting and romantic. My only negative is I skipped a lot of paragraphs and pages that were full of excess detail and repeated information. For that reason I couldn't rate it higher. Overall if you like time travel romances it's a light and enjoyable read that doesn't leave you hanging.

A delightful way to present a modern romance with a historical twist. Easy to love, (or hate ) characters. Just enough action and adventure. Plenty of steam, and of course romance. Truly touches that spot in everyone that may wonder, what if.....

This is a sweet contemporary romance but with time travel included at no extra cost. Delightful and sweet story of second chances. If you enjoy time travel and western romance then this is the book for you. No spoilers here just get it and read.

I lean more towards time travel novels that go way back in Scotland or the Regency Times. But this one going back to early American western time was very, very good. I've also now read the second in the series, Ain't No Angel, and it is equally very good! Can't wait for the third!

Ms. Henderson has the time travel genre down pat. I loved this story of a young man at loose ends with his life (and in a real pickle of a situation) sent back in time to find his purpose and his true love. Very well done.

I love stories of the American west, and with the mystery of time travel ads the enhancement. The reviews so far tell the story, so I won't ad to it. But I will say that this is one I didn't want to put down. I am ready for more. Next please, on my way to get it.

I enjoyed this book. Well written and an interesting subject. However! Trees are in stands, not strands. This appears numerous times through the book. I think, perhaps, I was a mag editor too long. But, as I said, the book was enjoyable!

Loved this story . Jake and Rachel made it through ruff terrain and the eyes and ears of their other travelers. Jake is a sweet caring man and Rachel is sweet honest woman who find an amazing romance in the past and future..

Well written and very engaging. The ending was predictable after a bit of slight of hand. After reading it I had to buy the next one too. I love the detail the author puts into the book. A definite read for the ladies!

This is such a poignant love story. I became engrossed from the first page and stayed that way to the last. I t was as if I were taking that incredible journey across the plains and through the mountains. Ms Henderson has another great start on a fantastic new series.

I love Westerns! This was an exciting twist and turn book with a great love story. The characters have depth and the time travel is almost believable. I look forward to book 2. Very enjoyable book with a good steady pace!

This revelation that you chosen the wrong path and it can be redeemed. This held a great appeal to me. In fact the reverend who gave Jake his second chance learned that love has its Destiny no matter what time we live in.

Another great historical romance from Peggy L Henderson. Peggy writes in such a way that makes you feel you are right there with the characters in the book. I especially enjoyed this Second Chance Time Travel book.

Strong lovable characters and beautiful story. I adore all Peggy' s books. Historical romance of early America. All the main men are beautiful, strong with a compassionate heart. I'm used to more erotica, but these stories touch me at a deep emotional level.

If you like time travel romances, you'll like this one. I've read all Peggy Henderson's books. I didn't like this one as much as the Yellowstone books, but it was still a good read. All of her books are really good!

I really enjoyed this book. There was no instant love. I think the author spent a good amount of time building the story and attraction between the characters. The dialog was believable. I will be checking out other books by this author.

Come Home to Me is a heartwarming time travel adventure about love and second chances. I fell in love with Jake and Rachel and literally couldn't put it down from start to finish. She is one of the best authors I've read in a long time, and I'm already looking forward to the next one.

I loved everyone of Ms Henderson's time travel books in the Yellowstone Series, and I was not disappointed with Come Home to Me! The only disappointment I found was that the characters did not continue on to the second book, with the exception of the reverend. This is one of her "Must Reads"
