I really enjoyed how this story built this ragtag crew into a formidable fighting force. This is reminiscent of some of the Star-Trek novels as to how the characters interact. The book is somewhat sophomoric at times, but it is in a good way. Once you read this one, you will read the rest of the series.

This book intrigued me. I found the story line and characters interesting and exciting. I would be fully engrossed and then laughed out loud at the unexpected humour of a line that at first seemed in context.

Soldiers of Fortune of the Omega Force series by Joshua Daizelle is beyond excellence in the portrayal of mercenary military action and intrigue. I again recommend this series of Omega Force to all. W.D. Wall

A great read and I highly recommend this book and this author. I normally do not read this type of book but thanks to Joshua Dalzelle, I am now sold on this genre. Can't wait to read the next book. Bravo!

I have read them all.
Light and entertaining, lots of action and great characters. Fast moving with a lot of humour thrown in for even more unstoppable page turning frenzies.
However, not suited to those wanting space opera or sophisticated prose. It is also short on philosophical ideas and does not generate much debate or reflection in the readers mind.
If you are looking for some easy going escapism, this cant be beaten. I cant wait for the next one!!

The characters are very likeable, their interaction with each other and their sense of humour. Dalzelle makes me wish i could stow aboard a spaceship and meet creatures of various races on faraway planets. Looking forward to the next one!

This sequel to "Omega Rising" is just as entertaining as the first book. The characters are developed a little further, the adventures are a little more complex, but if you liked "Omega Rising" then you'll like this one, too. Looking forward to the next volume in the series.

Loved it mainly because it appealed to my (every boys probably) dream to travel the universe in a super powerful ship with battle droids, Chewbacca an eccentric team of renegades like the ABC series Blakes 7 or more recently Firefly, bt with elements of star wars.

I still haven't finished reading Soldiers of Fortune but I can fully recommend it to anyone who is into Science Fiction. Joshua Dalzelle is a new author for me and I think that he nearly comes up to the standard of Kevin Anderson.(Not quite though!) This is the second of his books that I have read and the way in which he portrays life in the Universe is very plausible and realistic.

The author has provided a storyline that can be expanded indefinitely and with his talents it should be! I have read several hundred books in this genre over the past 25 years and enjoy this masterpiece as much as any of Isaac Asimov s whom I consider to be the father of modern sci-fi writing. Congratulations to this author for his efforts. I will be following your work.

I love the action. Great locales and the character development is top notch. I found myself rooting for certain characters and against others. Have read all books in the series and can hardly wait for the next installment.
