I have enjoyed every book in this series and this author has never let me down. I'm particularly partial to the "imperfect girl" meeting her other half. I look forward to reading more from this author. Highly recommend if you like your heroes a little rough, quite, with a heart of gold. Each book is sexy, heart warming and throws just enough twists to keep you on your toes.

Absolutely fantastic Katy, not to many authors have one book after another in a series that are wonderful, but you showed them all up, each story we loved. I've read them over and over so glad you ended it like you did. I will miss these characters, but I'm sure you have other ones for us to love as well. Thanks for an awesome ride.

Love, love, love. This book was absolutely wonderful. I loved it from cover to cover and every single page in between. Maverick...what to say about him. He was amazing, and loving and so so kind. I fell in love with him at the very beginning and never stopped. I will always love Remy but Maverick is right up there with him!!!!!

I loved Remy and Brooke's story but unfortunately for me every book after was a let down. Reese was an emotional mess. She annoyed me to no end. She was whiny and didn't know what the heck she wanted. One day she won't even let Maverick kiss her because she is so confused and the next she gives him her virginity. She made Maverick think that Miles was competition when at the time she knew she was friend zoned with Miles and there was nothing going on with them, she just thought they good be good together. Why she had to ask permission to do anything when she is a grown adult is beyond me but she would ask Brooke if it was ok if she went for a walk, like seriously your 21 years old. Remy took Maverick under his wing and Reese knew Remy liked him so why Reese felt she had to hide their relationship I didn't understand. When Racer ends up in the hospital and she can't travel with Maverick and doesn't tell him either, the first thing she should have did when she showed up at the hotel was tell him that is what happened but it took awhile for her to get there. I mean that was a legitimate reason not to have shown up, anyone would understand that. Had some questions with Scorpion being a dad to a 23 year old (I think that was Mavericks age), how old was Scorpion?...didn't think he was that old or that much older than Remy. Found many things to be unrealistic when it came to the fighting and training.

This book was FANTASTIC!! This series is perfection at its best. I would even go so far as to say that it is better than the Fifty Shades of Grey series. Katy Evans is an amazing author!! Kudos Katy....

I love Katy Evans' "REAL" series. This final installment?... not so much...so I guess it's safe to say I'm going to be "odd man out" with my honest review. I don't know if it's because I longed and waited and bit my nails and counted the moments for this story to the point that it became anti-climatic, or if I've "moved on" from this genre, or what. But I don't think it's any of those things... this story disappointed me because it was lacking. I kept wondering if KE actually wrote this book at all...it's so different from her earlier writings (ManWhore included). I know we are all unique...coming in different shapes and sizes and what might float your boat might sink mine. The book that might send me soaring to the moon, might fall flat for you. But this installment is riddled with bad grammar, long run-on sentences, incorrect tenses, improper sentence structure and whole sentences that make little to no sense, at all, even if you rearranged them. It's frustrating and for this price, unforgivable. Along with being poorly written, the female protagonist is annoyingly juvenile. Actually I've met juveniles that are more mature. Ok, so yes...she's only 19 y/o..naturally shy and uncomfortable around people so I forgive her, her "unworldliness". She's an only child; sheltered all of her life.. trying to find herself, so ok...she's going to be immature about many things. But...where is she from? When she goes to visit Brooke & Remy in Seattle for the summer, where is she traveling from?!? Normally Ms. Evans gives us extensive, detailed character descriptions...but she never does tell the reader Mavericks' age. And it's not until ch. 21 that we even learn Reeses' last name! Everything is assumed. Anyway...Reese is 19 and has long honey/golden hair and pale blue eyes. She's kind and sweet and caring. Reese doesn't make friends easily...she's not a social butterfly. She's innocent and naive about so much. She has no life experience and the things she blurts out at the oddest times quickly became annoying.

Maverick Cage has a dream to be the next world champion MMA fighter. He has thick black hair and silvery grey eyes that can pierce a person with their intensity. He's massive and intimidating.. but delectably sweet and endearing. He is all male perfection. He's compared to Remy in stature, so he must be tall. (I dunno because we're never told his stats/specs). He exudes confidence and determination.

I liked Reese's "awakening" - - coming out of her shell and blossoming. This is a romantic story of growing, excelling, healing - - broadening your horizons and reaching goals. This story has a slow beginning and often I had to wonder WHAT Maverick initially even saw in Reese. What was it about her that made him look twice at her?

I thought this was an ok/good story with a predictable ending. You can totally see where KE is taking the plot-line...still it was enjoyable to sit back and go along for the ride...more so because Remy and Brooke are in this story and I love 'em. But there are many holes and loose threads...for instance; [SPOILERS]

1. When Maverick hits a mirror and breaks his knuckles in his right hand..in the next chapter he's boxing again. When did his hand heal?
2. Reese isn't on birth control and they stop using condoms and there's no mention of concern?
3. They "do the deed" in a night club privacy room...then walk out immediately afterward to rejoin friends...what? No clean up?
4. The "showdown" with Miles felt incomplete. What were the final words between Miles and Reese?!? There's no closure?
5. We're told Maverick is a loner...but while he's in NYC..suddenly two of his friends from Florida pop in for a surprise visit while he's at a Club...how did they know where to find him at this NightClub? And why do they know all about Reese?? when did he tell them?

The final fight both slayed and disappointed me. The outcome threw me for a loop. I mean, my god...this is REMY we're talkin' 'bout here, folks!! RIP-FRIKKIN-TIDE!! HE'S the Legend...not Maverick. But the build-up to the final fight...the final moments are unprecedented and for me, was worthy of the whole story. And even though the ending is unacceptable for me...for KE's sake, I'll take it..begrudgingly. But..... I'm still wondering how Maverick picked up a penny with his boxing gloves on. I mean really...that man has mad skills! I waited several days to contemplate my feelings before writing this review...just to be sure. I adore Katy Evans, but she dropped the ball with our beloved Remy. She dropped the ball on this story. I think this story is worthy of 3½★''s.

Ok, throw your stones...I'm ready.

This book was the PERFECT ending to the Real series! I love how it played out and how it involved Brooke, Remy, and the whole team, as well as Maverick and Reese. The way the strut unfolded and how Maverick and Reese got to know each other while not really knowing who the other was, couldn't have been better!
