I have learned a lot about doing due diligence on stocks before I invest in them - using equity, P/E ratio, current ration, debt ratio etc. I also learned that investing in stocks in long term and so i should consider the intrinsic value of a company. Wow! I feel like I am a professional investor - though I know it is arrogant to think I know anything after reading only one book

O autor cita três livros, mas consegue se desvencilhar do mais difícil (A Riqueza das Nações) de maneira elegante, pois não chega de fato a extrair muito do clássico de Adam Smith. Já os outros dois livros estão bem representados, e especialmente filtrados para quem não tem tempo a perder (nós, investidores pessoas físicas).

Rather than a stripped down explanation of the concepts found in Buffet's 3 favorite books, Preston Pysh has successfully endeavored to teach how to apply those concepts to practical investment analysis & selection. His use of written text and excellent video tutorials, which must be utilized in tandem, strikes a useful balance that will best be exploited by then reading Buffet's 3 favorite books.

This book is easy to follow and understand. I love the videos at the end of each chapter reviewing in detail what now to use the information. I have read other books about investing but never really understood what the PE ratio was all about. I finally understand how to use it to figure out what the rate of return has been over the last year.

The book is very easy to read and understand.That is the best part about this book.There is complete clarity on what is being said and there is no repetation of the same thing over and over again.This one book sums it all up.Great works are always simple.

Great book with understandable content. Explains basics of investing in very asilimilative form. Book is accompanied by interactive content / website which presents the same info using videos, vocabularies, calculators and even some tests.
I am beginner and gained tremendous insight thanks to this books.

Overall - great work

The book starts out overly simplistic and that is why I like the book. Many people shy away from finance as they feel it is complicated, but it is as simple as running a business such as Joey's lemonade stand.

Great help to put the markets in perspective and take the emotion element out of investing. There is no free lunch and this book made me see why this is also true for todays stockmarkets. Recommended read for everyone who has some money sloshing around and is looking for ways to put that money to good use.

I made the mistake of not reading the description, so I thought I was going to be receiving 3 books. However, the book I received is still fairly educational. Now it's time to get the books this one is describing!

I just finished this book & it has changed the way I view investing. I really was a trader until I read the Intelligent Investor & this book. The video supplements are a big help, concepts clearly shown, and sufficient review of previously explained material to help it really sink in. Share market basics are explained very neatly using simple examples. And it also provides us a list of recommended readings for knowing the topic more deeply. Reading this book definitely will make beginners confident about investing in share market.

Simple and Easy to understand but very inspiring, perfect for me as an investor newbie. Its so easy to give up on such a complicated subject, but this small book gives you energy to move on and dig deeper into investing. Combined with his videos its a great combo !
