Her Last Whisper: A Novel (Dr. Charlotte Stone)

I absolutely love Charlie and Michael. I hope Karen never stops writing these 2 characters. Love it all...the relationship, the murder mystery. I highly recommend this book but before you read it, read the other 2.

There are four books in this series, all equally bad. All four are about a Doctor and her steamy love affair with the ghost of a serial killer. She describes him , page after page. I think she wrote one sordid description and used it over and over again.. Half of each book is dedicated to what he looks like, sex with him and not much else. A lot of women like these books, not me. Useless waste of paper.

This is an interesting story line with interesting characters. I do think that there was far too much time going over the same topics. It took forever to get out of the initial prison drama. Would have loved to flesh out some of the Las Vegas interactions especially with Michael and Tam. So, there were times i wanted to put it down. That said, the ending of course leaves us hanging. Why oh why do we have to wait until August 2015 to wrap this one up. Or will that wrap it up?
