I have been waiting for this book for awhile. The whole series so far is one of the best I've read. I never can wait for the next book and am always excited when a new one comes out. As usual I couldn't put it down once I started reading it. I get so invested in the lives of the characters it feels like I'm in their world. I would recommend this series to anyone.

I've loved the Slaters from the beginning. Each book has been great and Damien is no exception. This book, as in all the books in the Slater series is full of laugh out loud moments. There is also plenty of tear jerkers. If you've read all the other Slater brother books you may think you know where the story is gonna go but you don't. L.A. Casey did a great job in keeping the story fresh and unpredictable.

I loved the transformation this Damian character has made since the beginning of the series. The maturity of the relationship between him and his female interest is developed is such a way, it’s captivating. I could not put this book down. Love the entire series.

Whom would I recommend this book to? EVERYONE!

I absolutely love this book! I love this series! Lee has done it again. Another captivating book! I was bawling my eyes out one moment, then cracking up the next. This book will take you for a ride that you’ll never want to get off. If you haven’t read the Slater Brothers, now is a good time as any to start. I promise you won’t regret it!

I loved the slaters book since the start of Dominic. However I was disappointed in Damien. I've been waiting on this book for over a year and it failed to deliver. I know LA Casey was experiencing some writers block and wanted to make sure this book was all it was supposed to be but to me it seemed rushed and lacked originality.

Trying to read between patients and paperwork, actually laughing out loud "alot" to going into the bathroom to ugly cry. YOU. ARE.AWESOME! Thank you for writing such an amazing book and series.

I love this whole series but this book seems more like Alannah's story not Damien's but i still loved reading it and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series and even the spinoff series. I would most definitely recommend this series to anyone who enjoys reading.

I was hooked from the very first Slater brother book, Dominic. I can not put L.A. Casey's books down and look forward to reading each one as they come out. I just love the alpha males who are so dominate as well as so loving and loyal. Great read!

Damien was the fifth book in the Slater Brothers series by LA Casey. I have loved everything about this series and I have been anxiously waiting Damien’s story for several years.

Damien Slater was the youngest Slater brother and the twin to Dominic (book one). As with his brothers, he was tall and gorgeous. When we first met him he was the funny and light hearted one, but we learned over the series, it was a mask. He left for awhile and had been back a year or so when the book began.

Alannah Ryan was Bronagh’s best friend (book one, Dominic). She had crushed on Damien from the moment she laid eyes on him as a child. We know from previous books that they hooked up once and it ended badly. Alannah had refused to be around Damien ever since.

Damien was written with a single POV, Alannah’s. It was well written with only a couple of editing errors. It was also well developed, complex and multi-dimensional. I’ve always loved the bond and loyalty of the Slater brothers and it was even more magnified in Damien’s story. My only complaint, for lack of a better expression, was the beginning moved too slow. I desired getting to the point quicker. I did, however, love the last half of the book and the end.

Casey brought the storyline full circle with this final brother. Although each brother had their own story, there was an underlying story that was the central theme throughout each book. I loved that it finally brought it to a point where the future could now be the true focus. Casey also had the Collins family (Aideen’s family, book three, Kane) front and center, which opened the door for the new spin off series.

All in all, even though it wasn’t my favorite of the series, it was a great addition to the series. We have one final novella, Alannah, that will conclude the series and launch us straight into the next series, the Collins Brothers, and I can’t wait!

So amazing!! Gave me the answers I wanted and then some, and I'm so happy for these two. Really gave me the same satisfaction as all the other books, and now I don't know which brother is my favorite.

The upside is that we’ve completed the story of the Slater brothers and their ladies with Damien’s tale. However, this book is riddled with typos, inaccuracies and at least once an intimate scene was repeated verbatim from a previous chapter of the book. Decent storyline, though not as solid as the previous books. I really believe better editing could have saved this one. Overall disappointing with this book, enjoyed this family.
