This series, the Hades Hangmen was the first MC themed romance novels that I've read...Being new to this genre I approached the series with trepidation....

Tillie Cole brought these characters to vivid life for me; through her expressive and emotive writing. I will honestly say that it was at times difficult to read because of the dark theme that permeates in the series however I persisted and I was pleasantly surprised...

This novel in particular I've been anxiously awaiting because the protagonist "Flame" enthralled me from book 1 in the series. I anticipated this story being intense and gritty however I never anticipated this level of anguish ,torment and heartache ;experienced by both protagonists,which is unique..

I applaud Ms.Cole for writing this unforgettable story of Flame and Maddie and the journey that they endured to find each other ; where they are finally able to find peace,acceptance and love....

This book made me feel so many different emotions. I was angry and disgusted, incredibly sad, extremely hopeful and optimistically happy. I constantly fought tears while reading it. Tillie Cole did a fantastic job of giving some insight - at least her version of it - to religious fanaticism. It is amazing what man can be made to believe under the guise of religion. I also really liked that she explained things from the perspective of a supposedly mentally unstable, "evil" person in the character of Flame and the equally mentally and physically damaged Maddie. This is a very dark subject matter and not always easy to read because the because the author does not hold back but she also provides you hope from the redeeming powers of love. This book just really had me hooked. I'm very interested to see what happens next.

As many other readers I have been waiting for Flame and Maddie's story. So worth the wait! What pain and suffering they went through to find each other. What a detailed and intense series. There are two or three writers that when I read their books I am in awe of their story telling, Tillie Cole is one of those writers. I think back to the 1st book and remember how tidbits of information was mentioned and now it was explained and used to move this story along. For example when Maddie saw Flame in the 1st book when she was rescued,she felt that connection. One review felt the author went too far with some of the things Flame and Maddie went through, I disagree with her. There is evil that happens to real people that we read about or see on tv everyday. Seeing F and M find their HEA makes me happy and hope or others that have lived through their own brand of hell.

I can't even imagine trying to accomplish the challenge of writing this novel. The last 2 novels gave you a pretty clear impression of what kind of person Flame is and so to try and convey a whole story and do it with huge success...BRILLIANT!

I'll never forget reading "It Ain't Me Babe" and just being "WOW'd" and then we moved onto Ky. I was elated when I ever found out that the next edition would be about Flame!! I kept wondering...how in the world is Tillie Cole going to do this. SHE DID!

This story is unlike ANY I've EVER read... I literally had to stop and absorb the intensity and nature of it bf I could continue reading it. The book definitely did not disappoint!! AT.ALL!

This is by far one of, if not the best MC series I've read.

From the first words of Tillie Cole's Souls Unfractured she will OWN your heart, mind and soul. Maddie and FLAME will consume you on every level imaginable. They will break you into a thousand pieces and then make you whole. Beautifully written and with so much feeling and emotion you will have the worst book hangover ever. But it will be so worth it. She never disappoints and always leaves you wanting more. Tillie is a genius at her craft. I'm a Flame Whore for life. Read this book if you believe that your soulmate is your true hearts beat. But Flame is mine!!!!!

Tillie, you really took me on an intense emotional journey with Flame and Maddie. There were moments during this read that I literally had to take a break to try to absorb what I was seeing. It was so hard to comprehend such cruelty and abuse being inflicted on a child; and to witness the sheer strength, fortitude and survival of these tiny warriors, it's truly mind boggling. I stand in awe of all the survivors, that make it through a living hell, stronger and hopefully happy and peaceful.

Tillie has this amazing gift of using the magic of words to graphically place the reader into the midst of the action. I could visualize and literally feel the events happening around me, which often left me gasping, cringing, and tearful for my precious Flame. This series has me firmly in its grip, and it will never leave me. Wow, just Wow. Thank you Tillie.

This latest installment in the world of The Hades Hangmen had me sitting at the edge of my seat. Talk about an emotional journey through hell and back again a few times. Whoosh! I'm happily exhausted and emotionally rocked. Souls Unfractured I think is the most emotional so far and I love both Flame and Maddie. I can hardly believe how protective I became over these characters wanting to grab my own big stick (so-to-speak) and beat the garbage right out of the bad guys! In no way would I ever want a 'Flame' in my life, not even as a book boyfriend (wink) but I still think he's an amazing character. I highly recommend this entire series if you like the erotic/romance bad boy biker type books. This series is so much deeper than just any ol' biker book. It's intense and will pull right into the pages...

I loved this book!

I have never felt so emotionally tied to a character before and I felt it with Flame. It was amazing how I felt all the first experiences he went through in the story. He touched me in so many different ways for the hero of the story. I loved the descriptions of his first touch, the emotions he was trying to beat while he touched. I liked how honest he was and how Maddie and those who loved him had to be direct and honest with him. I loved how the author forced him to beat his past and she took you through that emotional roller coaster perfectly.

This book is just a WOW in my mind. I loved it and honestly this is up there with the best read for me of the year.

Now, to be honest, I can't handle much of Cain's story, that is just way to crazy for me. I need a glass of wine to get through those pages, just out right troubling. I can't wait to see how that cliffhanger works out. Honestly I hate that I have to wait 6 months for the next book.

Must read this author, I haven't found one book I didn't like from all of her books.

This was something a little different for me and despite the dark themes and sensitive subjects I found it well written and surprisingly interesting. In fact it was hard not to finish the book. The characters are dark and have been through hell, each in their own way, but together splintered bits find a home and each character becomes able to function because of the other. Love does conquer all and loyalty is everything.
Motorcycles, rape, religious sects all come together in a good read but for me the themes were not to my comfort zone and I will not revisit. I had suspected this which is why I read just this one in the series as it seemed to encompass so much. In all fairness however I had to give a good rating as it is a very good book in this genre.

Yes!!!! This story is everything. I am completely speechless and have no words. Absolutely NO words. FLAME & MADDIE ! This story is intense, gritty, dirty, challenging at times because of the unthinkable that these two have had to endure. But it's also beautiful and breathtaking. After reading the first two books, there is this build up when it comes to Flame's story. There's so much there that we just don't know about Flame. He's a tortured soul but you want to know why. Well we get it and it's one hell of a story. Souls Unfractured sucked me in like no other. I loved every second of it. And I have to say that Maddie is incredible! Her strength is like none other and her love for Flame is addicting.

We were introduced to Flame during the first installment of this series. I was intrigued by him from the first mention of his name. He was out of his box crazy. Constantly mutilating himself. Craved killing, the ways he killed- crazy! He couldn't be touched. At all! I knew something was wrong with him. That something happened to him. NEVER did I ever imagine the truth of how he was brought up and how he was forced to live. It down right broke my heart.
Maddie didn't have a much different childhood. She was also A Cursed sister from the commune. Dealt a s***ty hand in life. But she was so strong! Maddie was by far my favorite female character. Her strength outweighed everything. She was never afraid of Flame like everyone else.
Not once.
Flame was instantly captivated by Maddie.
How do two fractured souls come together to become whole for the first time in their lives? They did it together. Their bond was a beautiful thing to witness. Their growth, strength and trust...gah! It was beautiful!
Their story is my favorite one so far. It was so emotional, hard to witness, raw, there was so much love, but also so much hurt.
But in the end they both got their happily ever after.
The hurt finally stopped.

Like the other Hangmen books, this one has rape, violence, cult religion, forced situations. Definitely for mature audiences.

Such an amazing and inspiring story!

I don't think I could adore Flame and Maddie more if I tried...their back stories and their paths that lead them to each other is such so heart felt and epic.

I'm a late recruit on the Hangmen series...having only read the first two books in the past week by chance before I found out when this story was coming out...so I know I was one of the lucky few...that I didn't need to wait very long to get right into Flame and Maddie.

There are so many hard topics to deal with in this book...so many times you just cry for the characters. But Tillie Cole is absolutely such an amazing writer and she just leaves you on the edge of your seat.

I think this was everything it was hyped up to be!

21 year old Magdalene "Maddie" has been living in seclusion since being rescued by her sister Mae all those months ago from the Order commune. After Lilah was kidnapped and attacked she became even more withdrawn. The only person, outside her sisters, she feels safe around is Flame. The self-hating self-destructive self-mutilating most violent Hades Henchmen MC brother.

Flame and Maddie broke my heart then patched it up and made it beat again. This series is one of my all time favorites. It has depth and makes me FEEL the characters. It makes me hate and it makes me love. It makes me cry and it makes me rejoice. Both Flame and Maddie have endured the unthinkable. They have lived through horrific, brutal beginnings. It hurt to read what they each went through. The way they came together warmed my heart and made me love Tillie Cole forever. I just cat say enough about her writing. Every book has intensity that pushes me to the max. The descriptions put me there with the characters and breaks my heart and the makes it soar when they can overcome Tillie Cole is amazing.!!

Such a dark yet real and incredibly heartwarming story. Flame and Maddie's story is a different kind of story that shows not only a true love but a level of inner strength that is amazing. Maddie uses her inner strength to pull them both from their nightmarish pasts and Flame helps her feel safe enough to save them both. We all need a Flame and a Maddie in our lives.
This is not only a love story but this book continues the story of the problems between the Hangmen and The Order. Things are happening in New Zion that may create increased problems for the Hangmen and their women. This book does have a cliffhanger about this part of the story which I normally do not like but Tillie Cole writes such an amazing story it's worth the wait.

This book definitely lived up to its anticipation.I believe Tillie Cole is by far one of the Best MC Biker Romance Authors .If your are fan of Biker Romances you know what I am talking about .The story line and Characters are very well portrayed and the story line is original ,ya its deep and there is a very dark concept ,but it's like an unlikely light in a considered

This book is about Maddie and Flame. Maddie was labeled a “cursed women of Eve” and has had a life filled with pain, suffering, and abuse in The Order. She is now living with the Hangmen and her sisters at their club compound. She is recluse and still suffering the memories of her past. Flame is the Hangman’s killer and has suffered greatly in his life. Flame is drawn to Maddie and watches over her and protects her with a fierceness she has never seen. Flame is consumed with rage and darkness and is unable to stand the touch of another person…until Maddie. An event triggers something in Flame and it is believed by all that he is lost and possibly too far gone to help. Maddie has other plans. Can these two broken individuals find a way to heal each other? Can Maddie and Flame get past the horrific events that shaped who they are today? Can they save each other and in turn find peace?

I could not wait to get my hands on this book and Tillie did not disappoint. This book took a hold of my mind and heart and brought out so many emotions from me. I was repulsed and shocked at the level of abuse both these characters endured and lived through. I was inspired by the strength and conviction of Maddie and Flame. I admired that they both could go through what they did and come out of those experiences. I was their biggest cheerleader that they could chase away the demons that haunted them and find some semblance of peace.
Maddie is a strong heroine and you can’t help but root for her to achieve all that she wishes and find peace, happiness and even love. Flame is one of the most tortured male leads I have ever read about. My heart broke for him quite literally. Flame was a man who was abused so badly and he was so complex. He has so much anger coursing through him, but he was soft, compassionate and dear I say sweet with Maddie.

This book was so very well written and will certainly go down as one of my favorite reads of the year. I like a book that packs a punch and this one did not disappoint. I was literally all over the place with my emotions and could not put this one down. This is a must read book and series in my opinion. It is gripping, raw, dirty, depraved, passionate, heart wrenching, etc. I loved the first two books in the series but this one was EVERYTHING for me. I can’t wait to see what is next from Tillie with regards to The Hangmen. I am sure she will bring it, but I think this girl I a #flamewhore for life!

I give this book a well-deserved 5 flames and would give it more if I could.

This was one of the most heartbreaking yet uplifting romances I've ever read although it is definitely a darker romance.Two characters trying to get over the terrible pasts that haunt them both in there minds and in a very dangerous reality together. In helping each other they fall into their own kind of love flawed and with an intensity that is both frightening and jealousy inducing. I cannot wait until the next Hades hangman book comes out reading this I was both crying and completely sucked into the story. Flame is one of the most complicated characters and yet completely simple in the way he loves completely and without reservation.

I highly recommend reading from where it all started with Book 1 - 'It Ain't Me Babe' and Book 2 - 'Heart Recaptured' to get the full experience of the Hades Hangmen! Souls Unfractured is Book 3 and what a captivating, heartbreaking, devastatingly, beautiful story! I don't have enough words for these two beautiful souls.

Flame and Maddie's connection is so strong, all they need is each other and all will be right in their worlds eventually with both of them loving, healing and fighting together. It's inspirational and awe-inspiring especially those pivotal moments that have you holding your breath to see just why these two so wholeheartedly belong together.
Flame is so misunderstood, a tortured soul and complex but his Maddie - even though she is struggling with her own ugly past - understands him completely and it's amazing to read to see how these two come together as one soul even though they are both broken by their pasts but loving each other unconditionally heals both their souls as they heal and grow together. They are both so honest with each other and it's refreshing and beautiful.

Souls Unfractured is just amazing and I absolutely loved it! As always there are threats that keep on coming!

Tillie has delivered a raw but beautiful story about heartache, strength, bravery, compassion, inspiration, it's about fighting and healing with unconditionally love.

I want more of Flame and Maddie but I can't wait to see what's coming, it's going to be one crazy ride!!!

Tillie has out done herself with this book! The story line of the Cursed Girls was already a sensitive topic, but with Flame his story of what happened to him growing up it tears at your heart. Mixing that with what has happened to Maddie all her life they were made for each other. Tillie to 2 very tormented souls brought them together so they could heal each other. This series has been written with a lot of compassion and I can't wait to read the next on and the ones after that. Way to go Tillie, with each book in this series so far you have made each one just a little better.

Maddie and Flame... Two beautiful broken people find love. I absolutely loved this book. The subject matter in here is tough and hard read but please don't let that detour you. I had to skip over some of it because I didn't want that to be my focus. i wanted to focus on their story. I'm so glad I read It. This was one of my favorites

I sit and wander what in the world is wrong with me as I anticipated this book like no other. I followed the countdown on social media. I stalked Tillie Cole in hopes to get an early glimpse into the Hangmen world. I knew this book was going to be beyond harsh...gut-wrenching...and still I NEEDED it...no I WANTED it. ** PLEASE NOTE THIS BOOK MAY BE A TRIGGER FOR SOME-graphic violence and harsh content***

Flame has to be one of the most tortured souls I have ever read and Maddie is simply pure goodness. They are complete contrasts to one another in every way, yet they share a common thread of travesty that makes them fractured...damaged...soul shattered.

This book wasn't any more or less than what has come to be expected with the Hades men. Tillie Cole's MC is perfectly imperfect. They toe the line of illegal and immoral, yet they love fierce and their loyalty to their brothers and their "bitches" is a beacon of goodness. For Flame, his journey into life was beyond any horrific tragedy one could imagine. His past burns him from the inside out and the flames of horror consume his very being. Righting the wrongs of the madmen of his past...spilling the blood of the soulless ease his agony...until it is not enough.

Only Maddie...her innocent look, kind green eyes, and silent pleading can cool the heat of hatred that course through him. There is no doubt that the joining of Maddie and Flame is Tillie Cole's finest. In the midst of pure terror and vile memories, she created a safe haven where pure "firsts" could occur. With each inch closer and each word of adoration, she will leave you breathless and heavy hearted. I am amazed at her ability to write such beauty in the face of such ugliness. No matter where this series goes, and believe me - it is going long and it is going to be bumpy, I feel that Flame and Maddie have taken the series to a completely new level. What a high bar Tillie Cole has set for future Hangmen!!!

I absolutely loved the story of Flame and Maddie. Author Tillie Cole makes sure each of her characters are unique and well defined and never writes a 'copy and paste' story. This is a heartbreakingly beautiful story about two souls who are drawn together not just because of their broken lives but for the hope that love can heal what can still be healed. Souls Unfractured is full of touching moments that redeem the heart and twists and turns that blew me away. Highly recommend the entire series.

WOW - where do I even begin?! I've literally just finished the book and I'm so blown away by it I feel I *need* to write this review as part of the "dealing with it" process. You know those books that are so powerful and have you so emotionally involved that they leave you with that "smacked flat on your ass" kind of feeling - this is one of them!

The 3rd installment of the Hades Hangmen series (the first 2 books of which were truly outstanding by the way!) is all kinds of epic on so many levels. It's dark, it's deep, it captures you from start to finish and these characters and their brutal but beautiful journey truly hits you right down to your very own soul as you turn each page. This is the kind of book that you can't tear yourself away from, and that leaves you breathless, in a sense of shock, and totally smitten. Not to mention wanting more.

Tillie Cole explores some really delicate and taboo subjects in this series, and in this book in particular she goes into some pretty dark and tormented places within her characters. But she does it in an entirely extraordinary way, and the underlying idea that even the most tormented souls can find their happily ever after with the right kind of love is pure brilliance embodied this way. The research and the passion that so evidently has gone into writing this book is blindingly obvious and as well as enjoying the story itself, I actually feel like I learned quite a lot along the way. It was truly eye opening and nothing like I've ever read before. I *LOVED* it!

Can't wait to get into the next book in this series, and to fall madly in love with more of these amazing characters! If I could give more than 5 stars I would :)

IMPORTANT NOTE: To fully "get" this book, you must read book 1 (It Ain't Me Babe) and book 2 (Heart Recaptured) first. It simply wouldn't have the same impact, nor make as much sense, read as a stand-alone.

Flame and Maddie!!!! Now this book I kept reading through the others to get to this one because I knew this one was going to be deep!! And was not disappointed. They were two broken lost souls that found each other and was able to heal the only way they could which was through each other and that right there was ugh just hit my soul!!! Love this series and author!!!

Loved this book. All the hurdles the characters have to overcome. And I am sure are still to come. Take a quote from the authors words "you make my heart smile". I am not one to post spoilers, so that being said readers need to read this series. I love alpha males but to myself the alpha in this story was the female character. Heartbreaking storyline, heartwarming ending. I am so glad more is to come in this series. Tillie Cole writes a very good story and I think everyone will find a way to relate to her stories. I will say again absolutely amazing and thank you for a good read. Now I cannot wait for the next. Thanks, Jamie Ellis

I have to say that I loved *everything* about this book, and although I understand why some readers might ignore or dislike Souls Unfractured because of it's depiction of abuse, for those who are able to read it with an open mind (perhaps without personal triggers) will love it. It isn't an easy read, but it's a beautiful read.

The thing I love most about this book is that Tillie Cole kept the story squarely between Flame and Maddie. Sure, there were other characters, Vike, AK, and Rider/Cain who play an important part in the story, but the action and the emotion focused on Flame and Maddie. It's would I would describe as a clean narrative - it didn't have any scenes, dialogue, or description that weren't necessary, and I really appreciate that. This installment also had more sweetness and quiet moments than the two previous books. The scene on the floor in which Maddie and Flame wanted to hold hands as they talked - wow, that was a really sweet and sexy scene. That's something that Cole does well and I hope to see more of it. She's a patient storyteller and the pay-off is huge. This book didn't have a lot of action, but it didn't need it. It had more than enough emotion to keep it moving.

The other thing I love about Cole's series is that the heroes aren't perfect. Styx has a speech impediment, and I suspect that Flame has some sort of undiagnosed form of autism. He's smart, he's a man's man, but he has a bit of trouble processing and understanding emotion. He's also wonderfully honest and direct, which is a refreshing change in the MC book genre. His loyalty is absolute, so despite his rather violent tendencies, he's trustworthy. As a reader, it's easy to want him to be happy. And can I mention how much I love Vike and AK for having Flame's back whenever and however he needs it? I do. I hope, hope, hope they get books too. Vike brings a few much needed laughs to this book, and AK is just incredibly solid. The Psycho Trio - I love them. Again, Cole creates wonderfully layered heroes and heroines.

Speaking of heroines - Maddie. Maddie. Maddie. She's off the charts fantastic. In the first two books of the Hangmen series, Maddie seems like the most fragile of the Cursed, but she's clearly the strongest. She doesn't shy away from Flame, his history, or what she has to do to help him. She stands up to his enemies, and even to his friends when she has to. She's a little badass.

I rarely cry when I read a book, but I did break down a bit when Flame told Maddie what happened to him. It's dark and it's ugly, but Cole handled it with respect for both the reality of abuse and for the reader. There was nothing gratuitous or sensational about his past.

Overall - just read the book. If you're thinking of reading it, just read it. Read. It. Already.

I was surprised that things with The Order did not really play an important part in Souls. These are the Hangmen, and I expected something awesome, ugly, and bloody to happen with the Order, but I suspect that's going to happen the next book.

This book sent me thru so many emotions, from sad to the point of crying. Yes it touched me so deeply. I would laugh one page and be in shock the next. The caricatures were so believable. They had started there lives in a hell hole that was to hard to believe could ever happen. But we know that it can and does exist. They find a way to heal by being together, helping each other heal there troubled souls. I hope to hear more of there futures in the upcoming books. It was a "can't stop can't put it down read".

Wonderful story. When I thought this would be crazy I wasn't even close.
Flame & Maddie stories were just soo sad and hard to take in. I had to see them get better and enjoyed seeing them fight together.

Their love felt the purest I've come across and it was beautiful -tears running down my face- beautiful.

Intense, Real, Sweet, Crazy and Awesome are words I would use to describe this. I also had an "Oh hellz Nah" moment...I loved it. It was more than I had expected.

This was an excellent book. I have been anxiously waiting for this one to come out, and I wasn't disappointed. This series is, overall, a hard read due to some of the more graphic content but I have never felt it is graphic for the sake of shock value. I was really excited to get down to the bones of what was going on with Flame and it was a very sad, but the relationship between Flame and Maddie was wonderful to read. I'm definitely going to be looking out for the next one. There were a few places were I would have liked to have seen some basic proofreading, but the errors weren't prevalent nor did they detract from the story.

Where to begin? The extremely talented Tillie Cole hit it out of the park with this one! This beautiful book was by far one of my favorites in the Hades Hangmen series. Flame and Maddie, my heart goes out to these two beautifully broken souls. The love and strength that these two had together beat down the evil of their past. I love how they loved each other, plain and simple. Their story will stay with me forever and I have never felt so much emotion while reading a book. How can something be so disturbingly dark and so facking gut wrenching and devastatingly beautiful all in one fell swoop? I seriously have never read a book so damn disturbing but yet I absolutely could not walk away. Well, technically, I had to a few times to catch my breath and collect my thoughts but then I'd go right back to it! I don't know how Tillie Cole managed to take something so dark and flat out appalling and turn it into THE most beautiful love story I have EVER read. I loved each and every story but oh my gawd Flame wasn't like anything I ever expected. Wow. Just wow. I bow down Tillie Cole, I bow down

Flame & Maddie's story broke my heart!
I cried big ugly tears reading their story, reading the other 2 books Flame kinda scared me, but the minute Maddie was introduced Flame became so much more, than the crazy guy with the knives who cut himself and craved blood.

To watch how Flame and Maddie slowly opened themselves up to each other was beautiful to read, Given everything that this couple has been through it is amazing that they opened up to each other and let the other one in. By far my favorite couple in the series.

Souls Unfractured (Hades Hangmen – Book3) by Tillie Cole
This was one heck of a book. Tillie Cole outdid herself with book 3 and I thought both books before were fantastic. Oh my Gosh this was an epic read. One that shocks you, the emotions of terror, pain, love and disgust will have you reeling. Yet at the same time is was beautiful. The love between Flame and Maddie was so unusual and yet they connected because of the abuse they both suffered.
I am also left wondering about Cain, as I do believe somewhere in him is a good man.
Bring on book 4, cant wait to read more.

This was nothing like I expected. I knew Flame was damaged, but I had no idea that he had the same type of damage that Maddie had. My heart broke for him every time he would have a flash back. When Maddie witnessed this it was even worse. Maddie surprised me with the ability she possessed to soothe Flame. He was hers from the beginning. I was so relieved that these two fractured souls could become one and find love. The ending was so much more than I could have asked for. Another fantastic book in a gripping series. This is not a usual love story, but love is still what gets them through.

If you are sensitive to childhood abuse issues this may not be the book for you. I had to skip sections of the book because I just couldn't read them. The author did a great job and this story could not have been told properly without the inclusion of the childhood abuse scenes. With that out the way... Flame was worth the wait. Big, strong, sexy, damaged bad boy and his Maddie. This was a falling in love for the first time book, which I really liked. Because of Flames issues the author kept things clear and direct. I was a good read without the game playing between lovers.

I seriously loved Flame and Maddie!!! I couldn't wait to read this book. So utterly heartbreaking what they have both been through. Cole really knows how to bring depth and flair to her characters. Sometimes in series you see a lot of authors with these different characters and by the time you get to their book they are all the same and act and think the same. Not with Cole's Hangmen, each man is different and unique and I can't wait to see more from her. This is one series I will never forget and I can't wait for the next book.

Ms. Cole can do no wrong with the Hades Hangmen. The story between Maddie and Flame is one I've been waiting for and watching their relationship develop was both beautiful and heartbreaking. Learning each of their back stories helped put things from the prior books into perspective a little better. From the previous two books we know a bit about Maddie, but very little about Flame. In this volume of the series we get a real look into Flame and his emotional state. It's tender, sweet and will break your heart, but it's totally worth it.

Just... wow. The depth of the history to these characters. The author covers some truly disturbing material and doesn't diminish the gravity of it, but finds a way to really bring the story together. Meeting some very jagged edges together to make a whole. The side plots, the depravity Ms. Cole describes is gut wrenching and compelling. When you think you know what side everyone is on, she flips a switch and the world she's carefully built tilts sideways a bit to bring out a whole new perspective. Just a good book. Worth the read. The whole series is really compelling.

Such an amazing emotional rollercoaster. I had to set the book down so many times just to reflect on what I had just read. Flame and Maddies connection is so powerful and beautiful in it's own way. I have loved Tillie Coles books from the first one I ever read and I will continue to do so.

Wow. This series keeps getting better, and better. I didn't think it could get better than Styx and Mae's story. Then we got to Lilah and Ky's and I was just as spellbound, just as touched. Flame and Maddie just plain broke me. I could not put this one down. It's dark, and full of the horrors that people are capable of doing to each other in the name of their God. But the love they felt for each other...was amazing. I wish I could read it all over again for the first time. Bring on the next book!!

Wow........Wow......Wow. I can't believe the way this story affected me. I love this story. I think Flame is such a great man with his woman. This book was hard to read at times, it was heart breaking, painful, but the love shown through all the pain and hurt. Such twist and turns in this story. The ending blew me away. Wow... I sure didn't see that with Cain happening at all. Such a shock. I am happy for Maddie and Flame. Can't wait to read more of this series. I recommend this book and the series and the Author.

Okay just finished Souls Unfractured. All I can say is, I can't, I just can't. How can express like that? How do you see that vision, feel those fears and write them into words so average people, like me, can understand and feel what they (the characters) feel? How is that even possible? How can someone read these books and just jump into another one? I can't, I just can't. Incredible, truly incredible. I loved every single character in this series. OMG, I am blown away. Dumbfounded. What a story of struggle, and the strength love gives. Amazing.

Oh my goodness there are not enough words to describe the emotions I felt while reading this book!! Flame was a haunted soul who broke my heart and healed it all in one story... His and Maddie's love story was one of innocence, violence, hate, passion and cruelty!! This third instalment of the Hades Hangmen will forever stay in my heart it brought me to tears good and bad so many times; highly, highly recommend!!

What can I say about this book. Beautiful!! Both Maddie and Flame deserved to be happy. So sad what happen to both of them but it gives hope to be together. Both can be strong with each other. Thanks for giving people another chance.

Flame's and Maddie's love broke the conventional mold, not only did I enjoy this story but from the 3 its my favorite. I was a fan of flame from the mention on book one but with his story it made me feel more for them. Be ready with tissues!

I really loved this series and was waiting on this book. I really loved how flawed these characters were. I loved how they are fighting to find themselves and understand how to love and be loved. I did feel like it was missing a little of the drama and angst I was expecting. I think there were a few missed opportunities for that. Overall, I still really liked this book and can't wait for the next one!

I waited for this book with mixed emotions. I love this series and really anything Tillie Cole writes but I had no idea how she could turn such an unlikely love interest into a believable love story. The main character was so broken that it was hard to see a happy ending for them. She accomplished it with a wonderful love story unlike any other I have read. These characters were difficult and yet compatible. The story unwound in a believable way.
I highly recommend this series. This author could make the phonebook an interesting read. I am so excited to see that there are more Hangmen books in the future.

Absolutely incredible. This book takes you through the complete range on the human experience. From its lowest, darkest lows, to its highest, make you cry happy tears highs. And as a psychologist I was blown away at the amount of research Tillie must have done to understand the lasting behavioral and social/emotional impact that can occur after sever trauma, and the skill with which she peeled away those layers. I cannot wait to fall in love with the rest of the Hangmen. Bravo, Tillie!
