The Haunting of Rookward House

The abandoned house had once been beautiful, but now it is the domain of an inescapable evil. The Haunting of Rookward House is a ghost story told in a style that feels part Stephen King and part Barbara Michaels.

How could you escape .. if the ghost would not let you leave?. Try to escape. . be ready to get bruises and have false memories. On top of it, you will feel like you're in a loop in which you can't do nothing but just to try to escape again.

I really enjoy Darcy Coates writing and the stories she weaves for us. Her plots are always twisted, and you can never quite figure it all out.

One thing I am not the biggest fan of is when uses spelling like "tyres" but words like "states". I can't place the setting (the country) of the book because of this. Otherwise, I enjoy her writing and highly recommend any of her books.
