Carl and Anthony's book is an absolute game-changer for those looking for guidance when it comes to improving health and body mechanics. This book works for all audiences, from fit athletes looking to maximize on-field performance to portly adults looking to learn how to effectively bend over without splitting the crotch of their chinos (THIS guy). Highly recommended.

This book is visually stunning with content to match! Carl and Anthony clearly break down human movement in a unique, clear and organized way that any reader will be able to understand. Freestyle is not only for athletes but for anybody seeking tools to move better on a daily basis. Learn to move so you can move to learn!

Honestly, reading is not one of my favorite hobbies BUT, this book is a masterpiece, a staple in the world of physical performance. Carl breaks it down to the finest detail on how to perform movement at your best. Recieving this index is like the secret codes to video games, the choreographer's catalog of music, the map to the gold and diamonds... THANK YOU CP for sharing your talent and knowledge with us!

I can't say enough great things about this book! It's a beautiful blend of incredible information mixed with a clean professional, yet incredibly artistic look that very few people can pull off the way Carl does! Highly recommended for all athletes, coaches, trainers and gym owners. :-)

Freestyle is awesome! I find the approach to this information super unique – back to essentials of human movement in an accessible yet incredibly well written and even philosophical way. The content isn't biased towards crossfit. You'll find it useful if your into team sports, skate boarding, breakdancing, all kinds of athletics and even getting out of bed in a healthy way. The design is also really well done and makes the content easy to follow, and the overall feel something of a keepsake.

Only just received my copy but couple days of reading has already provided new insight into Carl's approach to teaching movement. For those familiar with Carl Paoli's work through Gymnastics WOD or his many public appearances this will be a reference copy you'll return to time and time again. For those not yet familiar with Carl's thinking, it will be an exciting journey into a new world of exploring movement connections and progressions from basic human movements.

Anthony Sherbondy has done a tremendous job at asking the right questions and editing Carl's thoughts to provide this insight into the mind of one of the world's most original movement coaches.

Highly recommended!

If you have any interest in understanding human movement get this book. Free+Style wonderfully communicates the interrelation between the most fundamental and advanced movements. As a coach this is critical as it helps my own comprehension and allows me to communicate key concepts to varied levels of athletes.
