Jake Understood

Best Alternate POV book Ever.... First we were given a chance to fall in love with all of Penelope Wards characters in Jake Undone, Gemini and My Skylar, and now this amazing book catches us up on all of their lives with a mix of past and present. This story will not disappoint.

Although this is a retelling of Jake Undone and can be read as a stand alone, you will enjoy the book more by reading the first book then moving to Understood. I fell in love with Jake all the more.

Definitely a great book that I would highly recommend.

How could you love Jake more. read this book! Wow I'm a sucker for an alternate POV but this gave us more . The details the future the depth of his loyalty. How he struggled How Nina struggles it's so real. To feel that suffering. Beautifully done .

Sometimes the only way to move forward is to confront what has been eating at you.

The future is full of unexpected occurrences, we truly need to enjoy the moment!

I'm never disappointed with Penelope Ward books. This one is absolutely stunning for an alternate point of view. I thought Jake Undone was going to be impossible to top, but darn I'm in love even more.

Jake story telling was amazing from his pov. His undying love for Nina never ever will go away. The support he received from his family and friends was so caring. Penelope has out done herself. Who wouldn't love Jake!!

I have really enjoyed this series! It was nice to revisit with Jake and Nina. They have grown into their characters along with others in the series. Definitely some plot twists, definitely some trust, definitely some love! Great book!

I really enjoyed this book. Was concerned that it would be a re-telling of Jake Undone, but although it did have some parts from Jake's point of view from Jake Undone it also had a lot of extras. Was so happy the book was set in the future so we are able to see their lives years later. Love this author and can't wait for new books from her in the future.

I absolutely loved this story. It was a perfect mix of old and new. The old scenes told in Jake's p.o.v. blended perfectly with the new scenes. I can honestly say that I am in love with Jake even more than before. Getting to catch up with Mitch and Skylar was an added bonus as well ( I love them too). I would highly recommend reading this and if this your first time reading a book by Penelope Ward it definitely won't be your last. YOU WILL BECOME A FAN.

I love Jake and Nina. I love Penelope Ward. She is a one click author for me. I think its hard to do a different POV book and have it be as great as the original. Penelope does a great job though adding new material.

Duuuuuude! Just when you think you can't love Jake anymore Penelope throws this book at us! If there was any doubt he stole my heart this book sealed it! I FLUVED getting his POV! And the extra bits!!?? *exploding overies*

Highly recommend all of Penelope Wards books. They are well written and are just a constant page turner. This book was no exception, I couldn't put it down. A story of raw love, devotion, and commitment. Read it.....you will love it!

Told from his view but give the readers information into their future and how the past was scene from his memories. Great showerhead it in a day couldn't put it down. I look forward to reading many more of your stories.

Love, love, love!!! I read Jake Undone first and that got me hooked. I love that Penelope Ward makes love stories with angst and unpredictable and turns as no real relationship is perfect. Wanted everything to work out for Jake and you could feel his torment. I have loved every book I have read by Penelope.

Penelope Ward blew my mind with this book. Firstly I was surprised at the details from Jake's point of view and that it was so much more detailed... And we get some extra's... I didn't know how she could possibly top Jake Undone
This is a talented author that made me fall in love with Jake in Jake Undone, I deeply felt for him and all he had to endure. But in this book, I wanted to get into this book and just hold his hand and be there. In the face of all his responsibility he fell in love but still tried to stay away to protect his soul mates from a life he knew would be hard to bear...

I am undone and I now understand Jake... And for all that happened, I am so happy that indeed things worked out...very happily. Can I have a Jake as well Ms Penelope Ward, he would stand by my in sickness and in health...
