The Enigmatic Governess of Buford Manor - A Historical Regency Romance Novel

The characters and plot were well developed. I enjoyed the read and would recommend it and the author. This was my first from this author so I read with an open mind - will be checking out future books. I was given this book as part of ARC to review.

A seemingly decent fellow is 'helpful' but the source of evil for Rose Parsons, sent to serve as a governess, and Nicholas, the son of a Duke and the Duke's family. This is the story of budding love and evil eventually uncovered and thwarted.

I enjoyed reading this story. It's well-written plot and fully developed characters engage your attention from beginning to end. I voluntarily read an Advance Reader Copy of this excellent book and highly recommend it to you.

Wonderful plot and great characters. I knew there was a HEA but wasn't sure how they would get there. Suspense and heartfelt, one of the better books I've read in a while. I was lucky to get the arc on this one. Enjoy!

This was an enjoyable read...a plot filled with intrigue, a lot of twists throughout & characters that were well-developed. I will definitely read more from Emma Linfield! Booksprout provided an Advance Reader Copy for a voluntary review.

Nicholas and Rose’s journey to each other was marked by new plot twists which delighted me! I love when a new tale finds variant ways to bring two people together. This book is a great read and a wonderful way for the author to launch her career!

This book was okay. I expected something a little different than a milk toast H and a h that seemed a little weak as well. Things seemed to get turned around in the hierarchy.
I did like the children however.
