Well I finally found mercury’s story But not where I thought it would be. It’s in the last Seadragon book. It’s in the girls book we have two brothers and a sister and this is the sister story and she is the one that is going to become the Oracle someday.. In this one Mercury is in prison by the dragons and the space dragons show up because that’s where he’s from originally and they are going to take him back to their planet because of his crimes on earth they’re going to cut his head off. But she can’t let them do that there’s something about him that she knows is good and she’s got to prove it. So she follows the bacon and his collar and goes to the planet in this one mercury is in prison by the dragons and the space dragons show up because that’s where he’s from originally and they are going to take him back to their planet because of his crimes on earth they’re going to cut his head off. But she can’t let them do that there’s something about him that she knows is good and she’s got to prove it. So she follows the beacon in his collar and goes to the planet to save him.. Interesting story and I knew there had to be something special about him because he’s in some of the other books as a bad guy but he has a lot of reasons to be.

Ever since a devious, trouble making dragon first showed up I’ve been wanting to see this dragon turn away from what he is and become what he should have been all along. I wasn’t certain if Ms. Bolryder was going to give Mercury the chance to redeem himself eventually… and I’m very glad that she made the decision to explain how Mercury came to be the dragon who caused such trouble and destruction. There usually is a reason why, and I began to have hope for Mercury once Marina entered his cell the first time.

I have to be frank and say that the alien romance has never captured my attention. Yet with this romance, these dragons are so familiar to me in their honor and in some cases, dishonor, that the dragons of Drakkaris fit quite well into the established world I was comfortable with already.

I enjoyed Aquamarine very much, in some ways I think it was the best of this particular Awakened Sea Dragons series. Mercury is conflicted, and changing – and he isn’t always happy about it, but he feels it nonetheless. Marina has done everything she can to save the dragon she believes is her mate – now it’s up to him to do some saving of himself for her. Fast paced, sexy in all the right places with danger, intrigue and redemption. All combine into an exciting, enjoyable story that I’d happily recommend to any Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance reader.

I can’t wait to get started on the next adventure with some pretty amazing sets of dragons in the Dragon Guard of Drakkaris.

I read this title through my Kindle Unlimited subscription.

Marina the the sister of the other water dragons. She is kind, cheerful and loving. She is feeling a strange draw to Mercury and is doing her best to get him to open up to her. After he broke her restraining bracelet so she could go save her brother, she thought he wasn't as bad as everyone thought, The kiss he gave her fired up a desire for more but now he is ignoring her. One day, she is visiting him in his cell when she feels something is very wrong. Angry alien dragons are there to capture Mercury and return him back to his birth planet. Marina tries to stop them but she is unsuccessful and they transport Mercury away. Marina want to go free him like her freed her so she goes to the oracle for help. The oracle arranges for Marina to be transported to the alien dragon planet.
Mercury has been filled with rage and hatred for a long time but Marina is stirring up new uncomfortable feelings. It is almost a relief when the alien dragons kidnap him so he can get away from these new feelings. On the planet it is made clear to him that he is going to be executed for for crimes he doesn't remember doing. Just before they execute him, Marina shows up and makes a bargain for his freedom. The rulers agree to free Mercury if Marina agrees to a right of union challenge. She is going to be courted by six of the dragon guard and she will have to chose one to be her mate. She agrees to save Mercury and give him his freedom back. To Mercury's surprise, he is uncomfortable with Marina's sacrifice and challenges to join the right of union. Now he is competing to win a woman he feels unworthy of.
This is a great story with new world building. I loved seeing Marina getting Mercury to open up and at the end he becomes a good guy. I also can't wait for the spin off series with the alien dragons finding mates. I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest review.

Marina's story was different and exciting in more ways than one. First, it takes place on another planet and second, we get our first look at our next batch of hunky dragons. Yippee. I was afraid we were running out.

Marina is visiting Mercury in his cell when a bunch of dragons bust in and say they are returning him to his home planet to stand trial for his crimes, then poof. They are gone. Marina goes to the Oracle who agrees to send her to wherever Mercury has ended up. Apparently the collar he was still wearing contains a homing beacon, but there is no way to get her home. Marina doesn't care, she will find her own way home.

The planet of Drakkaris has a problem or two. There are not enough female dragons and the poisonous metals the men carry in their bloodstream causes all but the strongest to lose their minds. Marina wonders if they might be compatible with human women, but she has no desire to see them grabbing women from Earth to find out.

Marina agrees to allow a challenge for her to choose a mate from among the strongest of the men. In return, Mercury will be released. She is surprised when he throws his name into the mix of suitors vying for her hand. She didn't think he even liked her. Now there are seven strong, fine looking men who want to take her as a mate. Woohoo.

I was given an ARC of this book. My review is voluntary.

I've really enjoyed all the books in this Awakened Dragons saga, but I think this one may be my favorite - simply because of the addition of the new planet of dragons and the medieval-type of tournament for the princess.
Plus, I felt Bolryder did an exceptional job of conveying the characters' emotions; she's normally great, but this one just really hit me with 'the feels. Instead of sympathizing, I was empathizing.
Just like all her work, this is a fast read (2.5 hours) and it never drags on.
I'm usually more of a bear-shifter reader (or at least animals with fur), which is how I got hooked on her stuff (Bear Claw Security) and had never really gotten into dragons until she opened my eyes that just because they have scales and not fur, they can still be 'cuddly' in their own way. ;)
if you haven't started the 'Awakened Dragons' saga - check out her page and start with the Gem dragons, you'll be hooked too.
I'm looking forward to the next series with the dragons of Drakkaris coming to Earth and looking for mates. Watching them tell their mates "I'm not only a dragon, but an alien one!" will certainly provide drama - and some humor too.
** Not a 'verified purchase' because I read on Kindle Unlimited.

Terry Bolryder's wonderful dragons never fail to entertain. Aquamarine is a rare female dragon, one of Earth's sea dragons, and her power is a type of healing. Perhaps that was her initial attraction to Mercury, the unrepentant and treacherous metal dragon whose formidable powers are like no other dragon on Earth. And when Lead and a cohort of strange dragons appear and drag Mercury away to their planet Drakkonis, Marina feels compelled to appeal to the Oracle for help. The Oracle sets Marina a task - go to Drakkonis and save Mercury. The mission is a huge challenge, but the strange and honorable ways of the Drakkonis dragons, their mysterious powers, and the poisons that are killing them, all play vital roles in Marina's rescue attempt. Honor, self-respect, empathy, and the life-altering tragedy which befell the young Mercury are the recurrent themes in this novel of redemption, second chances, and the soul-healing power of love. The character-driven romance between Marina and Mercury is scorching hot, beautiful, and poignant. Bolryder's new alien metal dragons from Drakkonis promise yet more tales of dragon romance and derring-do, and I'm eager to read every one!

3.5 stars

Marina has found Mercury intriguing for a while; visiting him in his cell and spending hours just talking to him, even when he doesn't talk back. What makes him tick? Why is he so fascinating to her? But once Mercury aides her so she can help her brother, she's determined to pay back his kindness.

Mercury has a shaded past filled with hurt and want. He's determined to treat everyone as poorly has he's been treated, and refuses to let Marina's daily visits soften him in any way. But when he's taken from his cell and transported to a distant planet, every thing begins to change. Mercury learns of his past, his family, and what it means to have someone special in his life.

I enjoyed watching Mercury grow and learn to love. He and Marina are a good balance for each other. There's a lot of world building, rituals, and history of the planet Drakkaris and its people. At times a bit distracting, but ultimately, all the dots are connected and the set up is perfect for the next set of dragons in search of their mates.

Looking forward to the next installment of Terry's dragons.

Marine is the aquamarine dragon, she is even more special since female dragons are rare. She is determined to fulfill the promise she made to Mercury, the bad dragon that is locked in the mansions dungeon for all his misdeeds. Mercury helped her save one of her brothers and she wants to save him in return. When she goes to the dungeon for her daily visit, strangers are there to take Mercury away to their home planet to be tried for his crimes. With help from the oracle, Marina also makes her way to the dragon planet to save Mercury. To spare Mercury’s life Marina agrees to a mate challenge, six dragons will fight for her and out of the two finalists, she will pick her mate. Mercury enters the contest but he is fighting for much more then just the right to mate Marina. He is fighting himself to become a better dragon so he could deserve someone like her and fighting for acceptance. Mercury and Marina’s story was amazing! I loved how Marina wouldn’t give up on Mercury even though he’d given up on himself long ago. I also love the fact that introducing the dragon planet will give us more dragon stories!!!!!

Mercury and Marina's story was terrific. The location of their story was way out there, I mean on another planet. Mercury was to become a prince but he and his parents ended up on Earth and crash landed. His parents died and he grew up angry. Marina already has feelings for him and is willing to mate any dragon choosen by the royals in exchange for Mercury's freedom and if they dropped the charges against him. As expected they agreed because their planet has very few female dragons and she is beautiful. This story also introduces us to many other dragons who are deserving of a mate. Maybe they can mate with humans on Earth. Well the Oracle is already making plans for Mercury and Marina to return to Earth with all the dragon guards and the King and Queen agree. So we can look forward to the dragon guards stories next!
All of this authors books have been good so far and this one was not an exception. There are no cliffhangers and it ends in HEA as always.

I absolutely loved this last book in the sea dragon series! Marina is a kind and generous dragon with a healing heart. Mercury is not any of those things, at least not on surface. As Mercury sits in prison Marina chooses to visit him almost daily. The oracle approves as she believes Marina might could get information from him. Lead, the head of the dragon guard of planet Drakkiris, is in the cell next door. Mercury apparently is from another planet and they came for him. The dragon guard break in to free their leader and take Mercury back to face justice for all his crimes. Marina has decisions to make that will change so many things. This book was full of excitement and danger and all kinds of new adventures. Best of all, with its ending another dragon series begins. Yay!!

I have volunteered to leave a review after reading this book. Well, Terry has brought us another great story. I have read all of her books and they just keep getting better. In this one we have Marina, she is a water dragon and the only single one. Her two brothers have found their mates. Marina loves to talk to Mercury....even though he is locked up in a cell. Mercury had done so many bad things the oracle has him locked up. Only Marina sees the good in Mercury. He doesn't see the good in himself. Some how Marina needs Mercury to see that he is a good person. But, how can she prove it to him? How can he deal with all the wrong things he has done? Can he even forgive himself? Well, pick this story up to be taken to a different world, different beliefs, different planet.......I couldn't put this book down till I finished it....

Awakened Sea Dragons Book 3 - Marina

This was the last book in the series but for me it was the best one! Marina always did have a soft spot when it came to Mercury as she sees in him what no one else can. Mercury is a damaged and broken dragon that has never been loved. Taken back to his home planet of  Drakkaris to face punishment for his crimes has Marina running to the Oracle for assistance to save Mercury. But can Mercury be saved from himself?

Thoroughly enjoyed this series and I devoured this book in one sitting. I was so excited to read Mercury's story and am definately looking forward to more dragon tales from Terry Bolryder! I'm addicted to her books!

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book that i received and would highly recommend it to others.

WOW! The third book in this series did not disappoint! Marina has seen both of her brothers find mates, and she's happy for them; however, she feels herself being drawn to visit Mercury in the his prison cell more and more, even though he never speaks to her. When she's visiting with him one day, an explosion rocks the basement and several dragon guards from Drakkaris have come to break him out and return him to his home planet to face execution. Marina feels that she has to protect Mercury so she goes to the Oracle and demands that she be sent to his planet to save him, and thus begins her adventure! Can't wait to read about the metal dragons from Drakkaris, just wonder who will be first!

Another great story from Terry. And, it included Mercury! Even though he was the bad guy several times, he still acted surprisingly honorably and never actually hurt or killed anyone. Very happy that he was able to finally, mostly, deal with what happened to him when he was a kid.

And, really happy for Marina too! :)

Loved learning more about Mercury's past and seeing his home planet. Marina was brave and awesome as always in this story as well! I can't wait to read how it turns out with the metal dragons from Mercury's home planet when they come to Earth, especially Lead's story! If you like adventure, dragon shifters, and lots of passion then you must give this series a try!

It also opened the series up to a new series that Im getting excited about. The descriptions of a new world in this story made it extra fun.

This series was quite interesting and a bit different than the others so I was extremely pleased. It's not often that mean heroine of the book is the one who story you're waiting to see. It would have been nice for Marina to have more moments of badassness, but it was actually nice to hear Mercury story within this one.

Mercury is an awesome character and his powers are stronger than any dragon. Marina is a rare female dragon and knows there is goodness in Mercury. She will go to a different planet to save his life. Mercury has to fight for the right to claim her and this changes his whole life. I really enjoyed Mercury's story.

This story was great and unexpected in the plot. I love Terry 's dragons, but their stories tend to follow a pattern, albeit an enjoyable one. As per usual, the characters Mercury and Marina are complex and loveable. The story is well developed. And I love the author's imagination and storytelling skills. Can't wait for more!

The last book in the Awakened Sea Dragons. A fabulous read that takes you to another world... no joking for real. This is Marina's (the Aquamarine sea dragon) story. In previous books she meets the infamous Mercury dragon as he was jailed. Twist and turns take you on a journey through his past and into their love.

I would recommend reading book 2 before this one, the connection between the characters is well established then. Marina flies through space after Mercury. Drakkaris is a whole new world, bit complicated and silly at times but well thought out and described by the author. You can’t stop reading because you like the characters from the start and you want to see them happy.

Marina, the last of the sea dragon siblings, has a wild story for sure. There is plenty of danger and suspense and a bad boy's redemption to keep the pages turning. This book takes things in an unexpected and exciting direction. As a bonus, we get to discover why Mercury is the way he is. I am really looking forward to seeing more dragons in the (hopefully) new series!

Such a good “bad boy” “good girl” story. I am so glad Mercury was able to find love and to open his heart to Marina. Knowing what he went through makes you want the best for him, even if at times he was too stubborn and full of self doubt to think he deserved it.
