I loved this book! The story got my attention right from the beginning and held it all through the story. Just enough mix of action and hot romance. This was the first book I have read by Terry Bolryder but it will certainly not be the last. Looking forward to the next one.

If you dislike all self sacrificing brave woman who do so in a DAFT and POINTLESS manner and need rescuing by big men then don't bother with this book. The editing errors will just add to your frustrated teeth gritting.

In the first few pages she goes outside to confront a dozen men supposedly kidnapping a little girl and standing around. She thinks about it first and decides not to call the police because they will be too slow and that she's going to die for a good cause.

In-depth characters,, foibles and all. Enjoyed learning each characters personality and how they got that way. Smooth flowing story that keeps you going to see what happens next. Couldn't put it down.

I really enjoyed this book because it's a beautiful love story. It shows how giving love can be even at the cost of your own life. You are willing to go the distance to help those you love. I rate this book five stars!

Wonderful book & beautifully written! I'd recommend to anyone who enjoys steamy romance and a good shifter story line. I mean who doesn't fantasize about having two gorgeous men worshipping you in bed and out of it?!

Probably not my favorite shape shifter book. As shape shifter books go they pretty much are all the same. This one really didn't add any intrigue, spice, or anything else to the table. It most certainly didn't leave me wanting more. However it wasn't a complete waste leaving my review at its ok.

If you value good writing and have higher than an 8th grade education you will not enjoy this book. I found the book to be just horrible! I really don't understand how some many reviews were so positive. There was such an amazing chance that this story would be original and unique but the author wasted a good idea with few details and awkward, disjointed writing.

Genre: romance, erotica

Setting: modern, paranormal

Special element: menage, unusual ideas for the shape changing dragons

This romance stars a lonely young lady who meets two shapechanging dragons. These guys need to marry one lady. They have been burned before in romance, so while one of the guys is enthused the other is reluctant. I found this interplay charming. No tension between the guys.

Overall, this was a good but not excellent book, worth reading as kindle unlimited. I don't understand the plethora of 5-star reviews, but I can recommend the download.

Bolryder seems to be a popular author but after reading this I have no idea why because she has managed to make dragon shifters boring by employing just about every tired trope in existence. I have every expectation that she'll use the rest.

Orphaned at an early age heroine just drifting through her dreary life

As a librarian no less

Leaps into a dangerous situation after deciding not to call the police

Not one but two too handsome men rescue her

And they are rich beyond the dreams of Donald Trump

And dragons

She's special

They're conflicted

They sleep together almost immediately but...

And there's all this stuff they can't tell her- yet

We meet our heroine, the librarian, and she immediately does something that anyone with a working brain cell would never do. But she's just that special. The good (?) news is that she is rescued by our heroes, bold and brave dragons.

Except that these two spend most of this book talking about their feelings. They are the two most boring dragons I've ever read, no, they are more like two really big emo-lizards. Their treasure must be pallets of Kleenex and signed first editions of every self-help, feel-good-about-your-sorry-self book ever published.

In 127 pages these three meet, talk, she meets a couple of their friends, more talk, more talk, they go to rescue one of the friends, one gets injured, she saves him, they "transform" her because she in the "one". I realize it sounds more exciting when I summarize but believe me, it isn't exciting at all.

Then there is the sex. Here is the sentence that sums up the sex best, "In his mind, he saw himself filling her to the hilt, making her eyes bug out in pleasure." Nope. No eye-bugging-out sex for me, thank you very much.

If you are looking for strong, exciting, fierce, sexy dragons then keep moving because these are not the dragons you're looking for.

Terry Bolryder portrays the existence and lives of dragons in a way that is unique to any I've every read before. It is thrilling and exciting to immerse myself in her imagination. She writes the world of dragons as protectors that work in pairs; each having one particular gift that compliments the other. Draven and Ransom are an unusual pair in that the kind of Dragon Ransom is has never paired up with the kind of Dragon that Draven is. (I would go into more detail, but I don't want to ruin the story.) The dragon pair is looking for a mate as a past attempt proved unsuccessful and has soured Draven on any future attempts. Ransom is an optimistic fellow and can't wait to try again. Then enters Melissa; she comes into their lives during a mission where the dragons must stop a gang of 'human' traffickers, who are actually wolfs, but whatever. Melissa is a champion for the underdog and even though she doesn't have a chance of stopping the bad guy, she can't let the little girl suffer alone. Melissa turns out to be quite perfect for the dragons and the dragons are perfect for her, but Draven takes a bit of convincing to go along with the plan. I would recommend this book to everyone who loves shifter stories, steamy sex scenes, and a new take on dragons. I hope Ms. Bolryder plans on writing more about other dragon pairs or single shifters along the same story line.

I always like to give paranormal romances an open-minded shot. They're fun. Usually a quick read. (we all know this genre ain't Faulkner, people.) This book, 'Double Dragons', had a hackneyed start. Lonely librarian with no life suddenly decides to save a child in distress. The child is actually a werewolf cub and the group menacing the child are a pack of "evil" werewolves. Melissa, the lonely librarian, involves herself in the attack and is saved by two hunkalicious men who are actually dragons working as the protectors/enforcers of the paranormal underworld. One likes-likes her and is interested in having her as the pair's mate. The other dragon-hunk is in need of convincing. Of course, the lonely librarian is a virgin (aren't they all?) and vanilla sex ensues from there as the trio try to sort out their personal issues and who gets what part of Melissa's body at what time. I felt the plot line was nonexistent and the romance was boring. There was the potential for some tension and some plot twists, but everything plodded along very predictably and way too quickly. They meet! They have sex! There is danger! They have sex! The end! There was also the obvious setup for future stories with other dragon teams. I just wasn't liking the heroine, who went along with everything, or the heroes, who were plastic and perfect. Even reading this for free with Unlimited, I could barely finish. Cannot recommend.
