Citrine has been the genteel, calm, reliable Dragon throughout the Rent a Dragon and Date a Dragon series. His understated powers and interest in gardening and nature have resulted in him being underestimated. But no more. When his true mate, Robbie, abandons him and the Date a Dragon business, he realizes he must fight for her. We enter the world of wolf shifters and, like Citrine, discover a whole new world. This story is as different from the other Dragon books as Citrine is from the other dragons. This is a revealing read as we discover the power Citrine has been concealing just may be the most important of all. And , of course, that true mates will conquer in the end.

Citrine has played such a vital, and at times annoying to them, part in so many dragons re-entrance into the modern world that he’s become very much like an old friend to me. The sparks were apparent between Citrine and Robbie from the first moment they met. Maybe not to them as they both worked to build a friendship with lots of flirting moments but not much more… then. When Robbie suddenly left the city to return home to fulfill an obligation, one that reeked of danger to Citrine, his dragon went berserk realizing that his mate was not only in danger but nowhere to be found.

The last person Robbie expected to see on her doorstep was Citrine. That he’d searched for her, found her and claimed to be her mate all in one conversation… well, she was flattered, annoyed and bewildered as to what to do now. She was to mate a rival wolf pack alpha, bringing peace to her small, tiny town since the other pack was huge, mean and would overtake them in a heartbeat. She’d known this was to happen, there was no other choice but still a small part of her wanted to believe that Citrine could survive the alpha challenge, that he could defeat one very nasty wolf and be the one she’d be with forever. She wanted to believe that… but Citrine would have to do some serious wooing and convincing without giving away his own secrets too soon.

Robbie and Citrine have always been right for each other, even back when they were flirting around the attraction they felt. Seeing them together was a perfect closure for the Date-A-Dragon series. But… there are plenty of out in the open hints about what is coming next – so I’m not totally convinced that we won’t see some of our dragon friends again in a secondary character role, at least I’m hoping for that. I adored this couple, their romance felt so natural and satisfying. I’d highly recommend this story, this series to any Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance reader. If you’re looking for sexy dragons, smart mates, danger, thrills, seduction and sexy times… then Date-A-Dragon. *wink*

Citrine used to the easiest going and dependable of the dragons. He never lost his cool until Robbie the Date-A-Dragon manager left them with only a note. Citrine went a little nuts and helps destroy hi house. Now he is looking for Robbie but the oracle has collared him to help him control his feelings. In his search he has learned that Robbie is a rare alpha female werewolf and she is promised as a mate to a neighboring Alpha. Citrine knows that Robbie is his mate and he will do what it takes to claim her. He has finally tracked down Robbie's pack and interrupts mating celebration planning. Citrine immediately challenges the other alpha to an alpha mating challenge.
Robbie isn't happy with her promised mate and had left her pack to get away from him for a while. However her promised mate is demanding their mating. Even though she doesn't want to mate him, she has to for the good of her pack. Her pack is smaller and could easily be destroyed by the larger pack. Only the mating agreement has kept them safe. When Citrine shows up and challenges to mate her, She is angry and confused. She knows her duty even though Citrine tempts her plus she never knew he felt more than friendship. Now that the challenge has been made, now she is worried. Her promised mate is one of the most feared alphas in the state and Citrine is...well she doesn't know what Citrine is because he is keeping it a secret.
This is a great story and I loved how love made Citrine go a little crazy. I'm glad that Robbie may get a chance to avoid a horrible mate. I also enjoyed the little hints of upcoming books near the end of the book. I voluntarily read a copy of this story and this is my honest review.

I would recommend this book (+series)to readers who like HEA's and romance with some classy yet steamy love scenes. Although I haven't read the awakened dragon yet, it was nice to see super calm and controlled citrine loose his cool once his mate leaves and he tracks her down. I like the fact that there was a build up of friendship between him and Robbie B4 they become instamates and hit the sheets. Robbie is spunky and funny if a bit more demure in this book as opposed to the rest of the series. There are a few things she says/does esp twds the end that are dumb considering she IS a shifter and should understand without having to be told and I like that it's relatively quickly resolved by her mom. Citrine also does or doesn't do some things that makes no sense considering what he knows about the restraint on him (which leads to new dangers in future books...) These are two super powerful shifters that I look forward to hearing more about. I hope we get more updates on them and the rest of the crews as I feel a lot was alluded to in other books but never fully addressed.

Citrine has been tasked with supervising the other gem dragons. A worrisome job, keeping them in line while helping them find their mates. While doing this he also trying to get them acclimated to this new world. What is normal everyday life to humans, it is all new and confusing to these dragons. Robbie is the manager of Date A Dragon. She comes up with different ways to get women in to meet the dragons as well as making appointments and setting everything up. Robbie is a wolf shifter and due to an arranged bonding she had to return to her clan. Citrine realizes she is his mate. He sets out to find her and bring her back. But nothing can be that simple, can it? Determined to claim Robbie, Citrine decides to challenge her intended, Bryson. But does Robbie want someone so bossy? Can Citrine win this challenge against Bryson when he is collared, which takes away his special powers? I will stop here. I don't want to spoil this book for anyone. If you haven't already read Rent A Dragon, I would suggest you do. It will make reading the Date A Dragon books a lot more fun. But if you choose not to, you'll still love it. I read all kinds of paranormal romance and this is hands down one of the best series I have ever read. Simply put...its just that good.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book and this is an honest review.

Terry Bolryder has done it again with this sweet, sexy, humorous, and intense story! This is Citrine and Robbie's story, and it's absolutely fantastic! We finally get to see the true Citrine unrestrained, well except for the collar that the Oracle has forced him to finally wear. After Robbie disappeared, Citrine was determined to hunt her down, and finally claim his mate like he should have done months before. Whehe shows up at her family's home, the last thing she expects is for him to issue an Alpha Challenge to the wolf shifter that she's supposed to mate with.

This was an exciting, action packed, intriguing story that will pull you in right from the start, and you won't be able to put it down till the very end. It was a terrific ending to this excellent series. If you haven't read this series, I suggest that you start with the Rent-A-Dragon series prior to reading this one. They're both excellent series! You'll get more information, and details, about the different dragons, learn about their pasts and how they intertwine, meet each couple, and learn about the dynamics between all of the dragons. You won't be disappointed!

I strongly recommend this book, series, and outstanding author!

I volunteered to leave a review after reading this book. Well, finally we get to find out Citrine's story. Citrine has always made sure all the dragons did what they were suppose to. He saw that they learned how to behave in the new world. He helped them find their mates. But, during all of this, Citrine wasn't thinking of himself and finding his own mate. Now, he knows who his mate is and he is going after her. He will do what he has to to prove to her that he loves her and he is her mate. Robbie, she was just really a secretary for Citrine. But, she up and left not telling anyone where she was going. No one even knew she was a shifter. A wolf shifter...But, she was promised to someone back when she was a child. Someone she doesn't really want to be with. But, an alpha female doesn't happen very often and she is an alpha female and must do what her pack needs. Can Citrine convince her he and she are mates and belong together? Well, of course we can all figure that out by now, but can she? Well, pick this one up for another great read. I hated to see this series end....but has it really???

OMG! I have waited since the Awaken Dragons series. Believe me it was worth the wait. I think this is my favorite story. In this story Citrine has left Date-A-Dragon to find Robbie. It is hard to not give away spoilers, but here goes.
Citrine is the sun dragon and has come in search of Robbie. He know sooner arrives than he finds himself jumping a fence, knocking on Robbie's door and issuing an alpha challenge.
Robbie has returned home to be mated to an alpha she dislikes. She is doing it to save her pack. As one of the few alpha female wolves she has an alpha power. What hers is no one knows.
Bryson is aa bully and a wolf shifter who Robbie was pledged to. He has to accept the alpha challenge.
Will the collar he now wears hinder his ability to win the challenge? Will Bryon win or will his temper get the better of him. Will Robbie's secret power come to light? This is definitely a 5 star story. "I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy without pressure to do so."

The story we've been waiting for. Citrine had done his duty to watch over the Metal dragons and their Date a Dragon business while they found their mates. But, when he realized he'd found his own mate, he wondered if it was too late. Robbie left leaving nothing more than a note saying she had to do her duty. Citrine followed, vowing to find her and make her his.
Robbie hadn't told them she was expected to go home and take a mate. When Citrine found out what was going on, he wasn't going to let his mate go. But how to keep her? A challenge. He was a dragon, even with restrictions he could take this shifter easily, right?
Can he? What dangers await them? Even if he wins, are there consequences.
As with all of her shifter books, the author provides characters we love, plenty of steam, and HEAs. This one is more. The set up for the next series grabbed me. I cannot wait, but you'll have to read the story to find out who—or what—is next!

As Citrine is the methodical, calm, and overly controlled dragon of the Date-A-Dragon series it is finally great to read his story. Being the most unusual of these dragons his mate Robbie fills the unusual role of mate as she is is an alpha wolf; not just any wolf but the female alpha of her pack. Both have skittered around the edges of their potential relationship. Robbie knows that she must mate with one of her kind and Citrine has always known she is his; he's not about to share or relinquish his claim to Robbie. When push comes to shove Citrine throws out the alpha challenge to alpha Bryson thus staking his claim. He will not lose; he cannot lose. Of course the oracle makes her mandatory appearance by making an enormous announcement near the end of this concluding story that hints at more dragons to come. For my honest and voluntarily review I was given an ARC of this story.

Terry Bolryder always writes a winner. When Robbie left Date-A-Dragon, Citrine realized that she was his mate and just had to find her to give her a chance to accept him as her mate. When he gets to her home he finds her fiancé, Bryson, alpha of the neighboring wolf pack, there and issues an alpha challenge. In the short time until the challenge match, Citrine woos Bobbie, wanting to give her the opportunity to get to know him better and for him to show her how he feels. Bobbie was resigned to being mated only to help her pack and realizes that perhaps she can have what she wants instead, a bonus is her parents are on the couple’s side. This is a delightful romance and the last in this series. I’m sorry to see it end but looking forward to more books by Terry Bolryder.

This book is actually part of a bigger world where the dragons are the enforcers and the good shifters try to keep the peace. I only wish there was a way to bring them a little closer together in proximity to make the books make the world of dragons pop. Truthfully now that most of the characters are out this would make a great Epic book. To bring all the characters together in a way that they save their loved ones from a deeper darker threat to the world and then to themselves. Would make an awesome book to read. Short stories of sci-fi and love are always great but when you can find that one that is the epitome of a Sci-Fi love Epic. Then you've got something there. Example Twilight. And these characters and the plot it's circling around could be that. Let's hope we see that

The long awaited book for Citrine is finally here and it was definitely worth the wait! After Robbie leaves Date-A-Dragon for places unknown, Citrine is beside himself with the need to search for her. With the appearance of his new volatile mood, the oracle collars him to corral his dragon. When he finds her in her small hometown resigned to mate the alpha male of the neighboring pack in order to protect her pack, Citrine must convince Robbie that she is his mate and he can help keep her pack safe. Oh how awesome it was to see calm and collected Citrine loose his temper and become possessive and protective over Robbie. I'm also incredibly glad that this isn't the end of the dragon stories and I can't wait to see what happens next!!

Ooh. Fabulous! Citrine as helped the other dragons to find their mates. He has always bantered and flirted with Robbie, their office manager. When she quits and disappears suddenly, he realizes that he's lost his mate. She has carefully masked her scent, so Citrine had no idea initially that she was a wolf. However he tracks her down to her home and pack and discovers not only is she not human, but is betrothed to another wolf. In order to protect her pack and family, she was promised to another a long time ago. Does Citrine have what it takes to challenge the status quo and fight for his mate? Another fabulous shifter dragon romance, with HEA by Terry Bolryder!

This has been a really great and awesome series so far but this one is my most favorite. As I have been waiting on pins and needles to finally get Citrines story ever since he showed up. And I can definitely say i was in NO way disappointed at all. After Robbie leaves to go back to her family and do the responsible thing for her pack Citrine then realizes she's his mate. He is determined to do anything to win her back and that includes challenging her fiance. I could not put this book down and had to find out what happened next. Some crazy things happen but so great. I absolutely love Citrine and Robbie. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

The last unmated Gem Dragon Citrine finally finds Robby. He unlocks his own collar and frees himself so he can fight a horrible bully- like wolf who was promised to her as a child. Well as you guessed it was Robby and Citrine wants her for his mate.
It was a good ending for this series. No other dragons came to help Citrine and he did not give her his dragon ring to keep her safe and unlock his powers like the other books. I guess the author was in a rush and decided to change it up.
Nevertheless, I enjoyed reading this sci-fi book and liked the fact that the author awakened three more dragons for future books. Something to look forward to.

Robbie is determined to fulfill her duty to her family and her pack. She leaves her job and her friends behind to return home and become mates with a wolf shifter she doesn't like. Citrine has finally tracked down the woman that he didn't realize was his mate until she left. In order to claim Robbie as his mate, he must challenge the shifter that has assumed he will be Robbie's mate. These characters are exciting, sexy and determined to protect the ones they love. Fantastic book with some surprising twists, and a wonderful conclusion to the Date-A-Dragon series. I loved it.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book.

As usual I am highly pleased with this authors books. I loved Citrine and out of all the books this was the most anticipated for me. I loved this series so much that I downloaded this book and refused to read it for days because I didn't want it to end. But the temptation was too much and I wanted to know what happened to Robbie. I'm glad these two got their happy ending and I can't wait to read the next series. I love the fact that the writer puts in little sneak peeks. I highly recommend this book and all of this authors books. You will not be disappointed.

Citrine is a gem dragon but was included with this the metal dragons. His mate, Robbie is a wolf. They are in her home town because she has been engaged to the alpha of the neighboring pack since she was little. Citrine knows that she is his mate, so he alpha challenges the competition.
Bryson is the other alpha and he is mean and vindictive. Him and his pack threaten the whole town because he feels that Robbie belongs to him.
Read to find out what happens during the challenge. We also get a sneak peek at what is to come in the next book.

I freaking loved Citrine from the bringing. I was always sad when a fellow Dragon got their Mate and he was, it seemed, left waiting. Well it goes without saying, his book was the epitome w of Awesomeness! He and Robbie were match made in Heaven! They complimented each other so perfectly! This was such a wonderfully well-written Book! Can't wait for the next set of Dragons (or Mermaids Persons??). Hope we also can expect an update from Pride Island? Seems like things are very unsettled there for our Brothers that are in charge!

As a reader if Terry Bolryder I have been waiting for Citrine's story. As the most reserved and controlled dragon I was hoping his story would be an uncontrollable ride. As always this story was exactly what I was looking for sweet, steamy, alpha male, and a mate to match. Citrine and Robbie are the perfect match she has her pack to protect and he has waited forever to put himself first. I loved this book and so will you. They have much to overcome before they're be together and the journey is half the fun.

This was a wonderful addition to the Date-A-Dragon series. Citrine is the last of the gemstone dragons that is not mated. He has been searching for his mate and finally realizes it is his friend Robbie. Their chemistry was hot, but she has a fiancé. Citrine will not let that fact stop him from showing her she is his true mate. Citrine challenges Robbie's fiancé Bryson for her. Robbie and Citrine's chemistry is still undeniable and she has to choose between her happiness or responsibility to her family.

Terry Bol Ryder has done it again! This series of "Date-A-Dragon " series is phenomenal! Citrine didn't disappoint! Well written, captivating characters in Citrine and Robbie, another homerun from author. I have read most of her books and series. I pray that she will continue with this series! I couldn't put this down. Read in one sitting, ending at 6AM! Take a chance on this book... I would start with book 1 although this series are stand alone with no cliffhanger. You will NOT regret it!

Since his first appearance in the "Awakened Dragons" series, I have waited patiently for Citrine to have his own story. He has helped so many of the other dragons with their mates and deserved his own. Finally Citrine's book is here and it does not disappoint! While this book wraps up the "Date-A-Dragon" series, there are hints in it about the next series. I can't wait.

I've always been intrigued by Citrine and was happy with how his story unfolded. I'm glad he found a strong mate to be by his side, who helped him let loose every now and then. I also have always liked Robbie from the moment we met her. She was feisty and didn't take any crap, but also kind, helpful, and protective of those she cared for. This was a good ending to the Date-A-Dragon series and I'm now intrigued to see how the new series will be.

This was my favorite book in the series, simply because I like Citrine so much. He has always been this nice, controlled dragon, but I always suspected he was hiding some major power. When that power was finally revealed, it was even greater than I expected. I liked Robbie, too, and they made a great couple.

Now I'm looking forward to the stories with the new dragons that were just awakened, and more about the aliens that might be showing up.

This one is about Citrine & Robbie. The attraction between these two has been building since she came to work at date a dragon, Citrine came along with the gem dragons. He's been steady, polite, mild mannered, & now he gets his chance to let loose, & have his happiness, but first he has to find her, then win her.
None of the other dragons are in this one, but the ending is mysterious & sounds like a new series is in the works.

Been waiting forever for this book. And oh my gosh it was just as great as all the rest. I loved ❤️ how he was so macho and yet not it's kind a hard to explain you have to read the book. I love that he chased his mate and told her that he was going to be her mate not the one she was being forced to merry.. loved all the books I thought this would be the last but thank goodness there's going to be more. Who wouldn't like dragons ?

Citrine had kept the dragons in line and helped them find their mates while his own slipped away. Now he went to find and claim her. He found her and challenged the wolf shifter planning to claim her.
Robbie had ran home to fulfill her responsibilities to her pack to keep them safe. Her parents were hoping she didn't have to mate Bryson because he was a bully.
Good teading, romance as only the dragons can do.

I always wondered how the relationship between Citrine and Robbie would play out. That she was a wolf shifter but didn't realize he was also a shifter was hilarious. The dynamics of their relationship gave hints that when they finally got together it would be epic and I was not disappointed. I have grown quite fond of there dragons and look forward to reading about this new type.

Loved this one. So happy that Citrine FINALLY stopped with his little game of cat and mouse and went after Robbie. Man shouldn't have left her leave in the first place :-) Great characters as usual and the story line was great. Lots of action packed scenes and HOT HOT romance, so beware ladies it gets a little heated. Looking forward to the next chapter of dragons :-)
