Dani and Brock first meet when they are children. Dani has put up a kissing booth to earn money to help her family. Brock gives her money and tells her to go home to save her from taunting and humiliation. Dani was taken away and put and foster care and they never saw each other again. Twelve years later Dani works for a cleaning service and is offered a 1,000 to clean a gigantic penthouse. The job is the biggest she's ever done so once finished she's so exhausted that she falls asleep at the foot of the bed. This is where Brock finds her. He's about to wake her up when he realizes who she is, the little girl from the kissing booth Dani. Brock offers to pay Dani $250,000 if she'll be his fake fiancee at his ex Charlotte's wedding in Vegas, but first she has to move in with him so that she can get to know him. I voluntarily received this book free through Booksprout and am leaving an honest review. I enjoyed this second chance at love (even though the "first chance" was a bit one sided). Both parties had challenges that they faced and ultimately rose above. It lends credence to the expression that fate helps those that help themselves.

Dani is a university student who works part time for a cleaning service. After cleaning she is exhausted and decides to lie down for a minute to rest and falls asleep only to wake up and see the owner of the house watching her.

Brock comes home to find the cleaner sleeping on his bed but he is stunned to find that she is the girl he liked when he was younger and rescued from a kissing booth. She was trying to raise money for her family but was being teased so he gave her all the money he had and sent her home and hasn’t seen her again.

He decides to hire her to be his fake fiancé at the wedding of his ex as a way to get close to her but will his plan work and what happens if she finds out he is the boy from her past?

A very enjoyable read from River. This story is about Dani and Brock. Dani is a student working part-time as a cleaner. One days she is so exhausted she falls asleep in her client's bed. Dani wakes up to a gorgeous Brock watching her sleep. Brock had come home 2 days early and finds Dani asleep in his bed. 12 yrs ago Brock handed Dani some money and sent her home to protect her while she had set up a kissing booth. Shortly after Dani was sent to a foster home and Brock has never forgotten her. Brock offers to pay Dani $250,000 if she'll be his fake fiancée at his ex Charlotte's wedding in Vegas, but first she has to move in with him so that she can get to know him. Soon Dani’s heart is involved but Brock's crazy ex isn't finished and sets it up to look like Brock's sleeping with her and has Dani walk in on them. I voluntarily read an arc of this book.

I just loved this story. An amazing short story about a second chance romance and letting go to take the chance and let fate decide your future.

This story has a bit of everything. I like that. It is a romance love story and I liked it very much. Emotional and loving story.
Well written story with a nice storyline and plot. I like that the characters and how they develop. A passionate and emotional read with twists.

I like it has an epilogue to finish of the story in a better way. There is passion, a few hot scenes and lots of chemistry in this amazing story. I would have liked it to be a bit longer. It is written in dual POV which gives the feelings and thoughts of both main characters to the reader.

After a hard day cleaning and an all nighter studying Dani ia tired and falls asleep in the client's bed. When Brock arrives home early he is surprised to find dani asleep in his bed. He recognises her as the girl he saw in childhood who tried to make money for food by selling kisses. He decides that he wasn't letting Dani slip out of his life again, and he asks her to be his fake fiance when he goes to his ex's wedding. Will Dani be able to hold her own against the ex? Where is this relationship going?

Told in dual POVs, from beginning to end, this is the love story of billionaire Brock Garrett and University student/part time house cleaner Dani Saber. Brock and Dani knew each other as kids and fate brought them back together after twelve years. Brock arranges for Dani to be his "fake" fiancee, and that's when the fun begins! It was interesting to see these two navigate their relationship from a business transaction to some real feelings. Brock and Dani have a great connection and obvious attraction that River Laurent writes beautifully. There are also good secondary characters who make the story engaging. What an enjoyable read with some twists and some steamy but tender sex scenes thrown in.

I loved this book!! It was such a touching romance! Dani was just trying to help her family with money and did not realize what selling kisses would lead everyone to think. She was at such an innocent age. I loved Brock he realized, that Dani was a jewel, he had found and tried to to not scare her off. This was such a great read. I was hooked immediately and could not put it down. Loved how he made her feel beautiful and slowly break down her insecurities and make her feel like a treasured gem. I also liked his best friend, Mark, and hope he gets his HEA. However, I am sure karma will reach out to Charlotte. This was a great story! I think River Laurent is becoming one of my favorites!

Three stories in one! I really enjoyed Kissing Booth. Brock just melted my heart, and Dani never let her circumstances get the best of her. I did wish that Brock had been honest with her but it all worked out in the end. I also enjoyed Dear Neighbor, Mimi is a spitfire for sure. I wasn't too sure about Max, he seemed a little too secretive. In the end I was glad that he did right by Mimi. The last story was a little harder to get through. The Bad Boy wants me is a good story. However I think it appeals more to a younger reader the 18-25 age group. It was a little harder to connect with the characters. If you enjoy the rockstar stories you will definitely enjoy it. Overall I would recommend this book. I read with KU.

The way the author worked magic on this story was amazing. We get to meet Brock and Dani who had met when they were younger. Now as adults their paths cross again and this time Brock will do anything possible to keep her in his life. The chemistry between them is electrifying to the touch and they can't help but give into the pleasures that only their mutual touch provides. This book will give you the feels, and the best part is at the end. I always love it when there is a little twist in the story, and this one sure has it. This book is perfect to cozy up with right before bed. Trust me, you don't want to miss it. I loved this story and definitely look forward to reading more books by this author.

River Laurent has a way with words that makes you feel the story instead of just reading them. This second chance romance is nothing like any I've read in a really long time. It's heart breaking to learn about her past and how things were for her growing up, but knowing what he's done to gain her attention makes me a bit angry at him as well. Even if I understand somewhat how he feels, he really should have explained things from the beginning. With how the conniving ex is, it would have saved them some heartache, but at the same time, maybe things would have worked out differently. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to more. This is a wonderful sweet first love story, Brock has loved Dani since they were at school and she was selling kisses in her booth to help her parents put food on the table. Dani is an independent, headstrong endearing woman who you can't help but admire. They meet up again when Dani gets a job cleaning Brocks apartment, seeing her again, he can't lose her again and get her to pose as his fiancee at his ex's wedding.

The chemistry between them is hot and sizzling, wonderful storyline, awesome likable characters. Well-written story had me smiling like a loon at parts. An endearing story, definitely recommend this book.

Read a lot of romance books that are very predictable but this one surprised me. Brock and Dani characters are believable they are strong, loving even though they come from different backgrounds. Brock has loved her since they were children and when he finds her sleeping in his bed when returns early he believes fate has brought them back together so he needs to find a way to keep her. Makes up a story that he needs a fake financee and needs her to come with him to his ex-partners wedding. Great read plus the extra books are brilliant a must read.

Kissing Booth is delightful. I adored this book by River Laurent. This is a story about two people from different back rounds who cross paths in the past and once again in the present. Dani is struggling financially. She's a cleaning woman who gets recruited to clean a very important clients house. What happens when her client Brock, catches her asleep in his bed? Brock strikes a deal with Dani to give her a large sum of money attend his ex-girlfriends wedding with him as his date. What happens when these two quit pretending and start feeling? This book was fun, flirty, sexy, and engaging. If you love romance with a HEA, look no further. This book will make your heart swoon.

I really loved this book. Not read many books by this author but I sure will be after this one. Wow the author knows how to hook you in and hold you captivate the whole way the reading this book. She makes you feel like your apart of the story than just read the story. The characters are like your friends and your rooting for them to get there HEA. Really did make me laugh out loud and love this fantastic book. Another great Story from River Laurent. I love reading her books, I especially enjoyed this one, “Kissing Booth”. It is a really well written book with an attention grabbing storyline that drew me in and I didn’t want to put it down, I really liked the characters, Brock & Dani, who have great chemistry and interaction that pulls you into their story. I went into reading this after only seeing the cover and title, I had no idea what to expect without seeing a blurb. Being a fan of past River Laurent novels, I wasn't too worried. I've got to say, I am so glad I took the chance and read this book. The Kissing Booth is fun and sweet and sexy and easily read in one sitting. This story is so well written and filled with feels. I loved how the story played out and was rooting for Dani and Brock from the beginning. I truly, genuinely loved this book. It is absolutely worth the read.

Oh wow!!! I hadn't read anything from River before, and what a book to start with! Loved it!! I really enjoyed the storyline of how Dani and Brock met, and loved the humour put into it as well. Dani is cleaning Brocks penthouse and he recognises her right away, but she doesn't realise who he is.
And what a plot twist it is. I thought it was 1 thing, but it was something totally different!!!!! I really loved the epilogue too!!!
Everything flowed really nicely, and I liked that there wasn't any waffling on to fill the pages.

I love this book SO.MUCH!! Everything about it had me glued to each page. Great writing, a fast-paced storyline with a smooth flow and characters with addictive & heartwarming personalities that made me fall in love with them. The chemistry between them feels so natural and right and their love scenes will leave you feeling all warm and tingly in all the right spots! There's the perfect amount of drama, dialogue that'll touch your heart and a beautiful HEA. I definitely recommend this book.

Brock has always had the hots for Dani since they were kids and he tried to buy a kiss from her at the kissing booth. Fast forward 12 years and they have a chance meeting again but this time Broke needs a fake fiancé and he wants Dani to help him out. It was a great sweet story and so worth the read! I liked the twist, it made me smile, finding out who Brock really was. Loved Brock and Dani together. They made a perfect pair. Dani is part of a cleaning agency and Brock's house is not one of her usual cleaning jobs, but the money is too good to pass up. Brock wants to keep Dani around and makes up a reason so that she will stay with him and give him a chance. Brock and Dani actually knew each other as kids before Dani went away. This story was a fun and enjoyable read. The characters and their story was entertaining.

Dani fell asleep after cleaning Brock's penthouse, not knowing he was there and doesn't recognize him from their youth. I loved this story about lost love found. As children Brock and Dani were bullied for different reasons. He was the fat boy and she was the poor girl with dysfunctional parents. Not having money for food or other resources Dani took to selling kisses for money for her family. Taken from her family and placed in foster homes Dani never forgot her roots. When given the opportunity to clean a high end clients home she took the chancel Little did she know that her life was going to change.

This fake fiancée, second chance romance of sorts started out strong and well written. This was a five star beginning for sure. Dani was likeable and sweet from the get go, and after Brock sees and recognizes her from his past, well his little memory of her kissing booth just broke my heart.

Reminded me of a fairytale where Dani, who was raised in poverty and eventually Foster care, meets her prince charming. Brock was actually a boy from her past she doesn't remember who stumbles upon her and recognizing "that girl". He just so happens to be wealthy, regal and dare I say it...charming. He is enamored with her and well...a happy ending is for all. A fast read but very well written.

I mostly enjoyed this "book" even though it was a bit predictable. I thought it odd that Dani thinks about how she never drinks because of her dad but then she seems to drink a lot after her and Brock start their arrangement. I was definitely put off by the fact that "kissing booth" ends at the 26% mark. Seems like the book is a ploy to increase revenue on kindle unlimited.

Such a lovely book to read could not stop reading till the end. Dani is trying to put herself though school after a bad childhood. Dani does housekeeping to make her money and falls asleep at Brocks house. Brock remembers her as the girl he loved in grade school now he needs to think of a way to make her stay since he never got over her. Kissing Booth by River Laurent is a Romantic Comedy. Well written with a great storyline and lovable characters. When we were kids she set up a kissing booth in our schoolyard. Even then, I wanted to buy a kiss from her, but she ran away in tears. This time there'll be no running away, I'm claiming her for my own. I was hooked from page one.

A sweet and sexy story! Dani is a hardworking woman who goes to college and works as a house cleaner. She’s asked to clean a penthouse with strict instructions. Brock comes home to find Dani sleeping in his bed. Brock instantly remembers Dani from their childhood and wants to keep her in his life by asking her to pose as his fake fiancée. Drama from exes, sweet, demanding, sexy, and a HEA. I received an arc for a voluntarily honest review.

This was a terrific, sweet romance with some subterfuge thrown in for a twist from the usual. Brock and Dani were strong, opinionated but very likeable characters. There was the typical drama from the bitchy ex-girlfriend that played nicely into the overall plot along with of course, lots of steam between the H&h!
