Jesus Calling Bible Storybook

Lovely book that makes reading Bible stories easy for kids and parents. We take turns reading this book aloud in our house (8, 11 and 41 year old). The illustration are beautiful too and I like the Jesus calling, message part, that encourages us nightly. Great book, a great present idea too. I think I will be buying some as Christmas gift additions to my close friends who have kids who are open to reading the Bible. Nice way to tie the true meaning for Christmas in!! I love all Sarah Young's book. Jesus Calling for kids is awesome, adult versions too are great!

I really enjoy reading Jesus Calling for adults; In fact, that is how I start my day. I was so excited to find this one for kids. I couldn't wait to order it for my six year old Granddaughter. The stories and Bible verses are so easy to understand and the illustrations are beautiful! Every child needs this book!

It was far better than expected, in illustrations and story telling. The illustrations are clearly expressive for children. The story telling is modern, age appropriate, and covers vital points.
Bought for grandchildren.

The illustrations and unique wording in this story book capture the attention of little ones and adults alike. I gave a children's message at church and read some out of one of the stories in this book. I have given copies as gifts to my friends with children and I've kept one for myself. This is my go-to gift for baby showers. I just love it!

Love, love, love this book! We read from it nightly with our 5 year old and have done so for almost a year. He can flip through the book and repeat the stories about Jesus. He has asked so many wonderful questions about our faith prompted from this book and we've had the perfect opportunity to talk with him about God's Love. We purchase this as gifts for friends children as well. Highly Recommend!

I love this devotional--I've purchased several christian books and devotionals for my daughter trying to encourage her and spark an interest in the things of the Lord and this book is one of my favorites--it tells short, encouraging stories that any kid would love--and parents too!

This book is excellent for reading to all three of my children, ages 7 and under. There are even short 5-10 line summaries of each story (along with Bible reference) that my 7 yr old has read at church in front of the congregation - so it's perfect. Love it!

I bought this bible for my stepdaughter and although it was great in content and illustrations I can't give it a full 5 stars because there were certain things such as the 10 commandments that were changed a bit by the author. I understand that the purpose was to make it understandable to the children population but you cannot make changes to the actual commandments and also the fact that in one part they said that the man who got the people to create the golden calf was Moses brother Aaron. I may be wrong but I don't think it specifies that he was responsible for this in the actual bible but what really threw me off was the fact that the commandments were changed a bit from the reality. The fact that it's such a beautiful bible with such colouring and a strong indication of Jesus' love and an explanation to each part of the bible makes me thinks it's still worth 4 stars. Thanks!

Beautifully illustrated and written age appropriately for my 6 year old's understanding. Text is in modern vernacular and has personal connection snippets after each story. Covers most of the "main" stories, while highlighting Jesus' lineage during the Old Testament.

I cannot recommend this Bible Storybook enough. Our 6 year old daughter loves it and it really captures the Bible stories very accurately (so much so that I even learned from it). The pictures are engaging and it's a beautiful storybook Bible. Perfect for gifts!

Lovely book for a gift for a grandchild. The way the author presents the stories is so personal and pictures are just wonderful. The way it is written makes it interesting and understandable without extra interpretation specific to any one religion.
