Baby! (Dr. Seuss Nursery Collection) - Dr. Seuss's Happy Birthday

Very nice book with lots of interactive parts. It is smaller in size that I thought it would be. I was hoping that guests at my granddaughter's birthday party could sign it with wishes, but it was not large enough.

Not impressed. Doesn't read like a typical Dr. Seuss book. If you buy it, expecting a Dr. Seuss classic, you will be disappointed. Moving parts on pages are difficult to move and come out or rip easily.

Based on "Reading level: 1-3 years" I bought this for my 1 yr old niece. The book has some areas of interactive play by pulling or petting or spinning and I think she'll just rip it up. Maybe my niece is more forceful than most 1 yr olds? I still love the book, it's very cute, but I will have to hide it away and maybe give it to her next year.

I have purchased two of these books. One for each of my kids on their 1st birthdays. I use them as 1st birthday cards and write a little note inside the cover for them to always have. It's a great book and my 3 year old still loves to read hers. It has lift-the flap, scratch and sniff, shiny page, furry page etc...
