Best one yet! This is one smoking hot suspense overload! Kym Grosso left us with a huge cliff hanger at the end of Leopold and we all waited with baited breath to see what would happen to our sexy Dimitri. At first it doesnt seem so bad for him, seeing as he wakes up tied to a bed with a beautiful woman with him. Gillian is an amazing strong female lead who I instantly fell in love with. She took care of our big strong boy and put herself at risk to cure him. The chemistry between the two is off the charts!
Can the past come back to haunt her? Will Dimitri be able to claim his mate and find a cure?
I cannot say enough about how much I love this series! All of the characters are so unique and mesh so well. Kudos to Kym Grosso for yet another amazing accomplishment!

Kim Grosso delivers another incredible installment of the Immortals of New Orleans series. Dimitri LeBlanc, beta of the Acadian Wolves finds himself in a whole lot of trouble at the end of Leopold’s story. The action starts there. While this is a continuing series, each installment is very capable of standing on its own merits.
Ms. Grosso has a way of pulling you into the characters, making you care about them and wanting the best for them. Dimitri is no different: with his humor, loyalty and compassion, he’s the kind of guy every girl wants to have around.
Naturally, there are all kinds of problems along the way, as well as a lot of sizzle between the main characters. It is the kind of book you just can’t put down.

I feel like I have been waiting forever for Dimitri's story! It was definitely worth the wait. This is one of my top ten favorite series of all time. I love Kym Grosso's writing style. You come to really care about her characters and you want them to find their happy endings. I really enjoyed this book. Dimitri is tough, charming, and lovable. Gilly is very rare shifter who has a lot of complications because of it. She is brave and independent. She and Dimitri are perfect together. I must say that I didn't see Ilsbeth's deception coming! I am also dying to know what happens to Sydney. I can't wait for Jax's story. I am very curious to find out what the hell is going on with Kat. Great Job Kym Grosso !

Plot is interesting and so are the characters. A good story, could have been shorter. have most of the authors book in this series. One complaint, the sex scenes can read like soft porn. Developing an attraction can be about the sex, can be intense and fun but not have it as the major part of the story.

The main characters are great but only a few characters are developed, probably highlighting who will be next in the series but previous characters fall flat. While I love the story lines - My issues are with the overall series. I wish all the book and characters were brought together and developed better. Nothing bothers me more than when a highlighted character from a previous book seems to not be important or is missing from later books when they are expected simply to be dismissed by 'they are dealing with some other issue' or 'out of the country' Each book highlights how the characters are excellent in handling all the different things going on in their region and handle things for themselves. It seem contradictory when all of a sudden the next book with new characters and they disappear.

This book was filled with fast paced action from the 1st moment & I didn't want to put it down. I read this book in 1 day.

Dimitri is not only Logan' s Beta but also Leopold's friend & after he went to a demon dimension with Leopold Dimitri started having problems with his wolf. Dimitri went to California to have a little vacation & while there gets attacked by another wolf pack & was severely wounded when his wolf wouldn't shift for him.

Gillian saved his life by healing him with her gift.

But, you will have to read the book to find out more; this book was very good in it's good vs bad plot, lots of sex scenes & other characters from previous books in this series.
