And this was no exception to that rule. The people were believable and well written. You wonder just how long it will take Jared to realize the feelings he has is Love. Even though he is the last of the brothers left as bachelors, he still has no clue.

Sometimes we become jealous of someone's past and wondering if they can be without you and be happy now. That's the greatness of this story...fantastic story...Love this series and these.brothers!!!!

The whole of the Mackade brothers series goes to prove that Nora Roberts is the master of the the romance series. Whether read individually or in order, her novels show a perfect blend of intrigue, American value, historical reference to the area where her novels are set and of course the family based romance with intact morals. Then you have the most important part of all.......a happy ending .....which have be too sadly lacking in recent popular media......thanks again Nora!!!!!!

I read the whole series of the MacKade Brothers and they are something else. A good ole' modern day country western
version of love in the country and problem solving. Great books to keep you interested.

Nora Roberts delivers again with a fun tale of the MacKade brothers. Jared, the oldest, continues the series with a story of love when you least expect at a time when one didn't know it could be. Fast paced, sexy, and fun. I highly recommend this book

These men are sexy and full of surprises. These books will surprises you. Rafe the bad boy and Jared the lawyer these two brothers are kind and gentle. The way Jared have his heart to Savannah and accepted her and her son just melted my heart.

I really like this brothers' series; entertaining and true to Nora Roberts writing style. There is always more storyline to Ms Roberts' writing than the obvious romance- she always seems to throw in a little suspense and mystery too.

This book was romantic as well as interesting. It gives you a little history on the civil war and makes you wonder if ghosts really stay where they died tragically . I tend to believe they do since I had a very spooky feeling myself when I visited the battle fields in Gettysburg .
