Do Unto Otters: A Book About Manners

As "A book About Manners," I was referred to this book to teach my children to follow the "Golden Rule." This was a humorous story, but it was a little too long for my 3 and 4 year old. They lost interest in it quickly. I would recommend it more for the 6-8 year old age group.

My six year old loved reading this book, although some of it was hard for him to understand and frustrating for him to read. While he did get bored of it quickly, the moral of the story registered with him after reading through it several times.

The premise behind the book is sound. However, the play on words is over the heads of the little ones the book is meant for. Also, the words are all over the page making it a little confusing which "blob" goes in what order. Not awesome.
