Thistle’s Short closes the gape in the full books where Annie & Belinda come to be at the Overlook Inn. I just cannot say enough of how much I enjoy every single book of “Wicked Witches of the Midwest” saga. Full stories & Shorts, this is the TV series I could watch for years but make sure Amanda M. Lee keeps all of her rights to it because the networks destroy everything they get the rights to.

The previous short was narrated by Clove, this time Thistle get the chance to shine and does so very well. The narrative voice was engaging and grows in depth as the story continues, and we get far more character growth in this story than in the last short. The plot and focus were well considered and employed. I have to say I am looking forward to seeing Annie and Belinda play against the Winchester women.
Getting a chance to see how Thistle's mind works and how Marcus balances her was lovely.
An easy recommendation for those continuing the series.

The wonderful novella is from Thistle's point of view. It has Amanda's normal snarky humor, so you will be laughing all the way through. A quick story of a lost little girl and how the family of witches again band together with food and threats to be on each other's list to solve the mystery. A found mom and a revealing threat brings this quick story to a great ending. I love all these characters and was glad to see more of Thistle's boyfriend, Marcus play in this short. How I would love to hang out with this family. But I would always be on a diet. Lol. Can't wait for another book from Amanda M. Lee!

Another great short, this time from Thistle's point of view. I actually really liked seeing things through Thistle's eyes, especially when it came to little Annie. I was surprised that Marcus did not have more a presence in this story. Can't wait for the next one!

Wicked Brew: A Wicked Witches of the Midwest is a fun book to read. A lot of comedy with a bit of mystery thrown in. Love the family dynamics in this witty group witches lives. Never a dull moment in their lives therefore, never a dull moment when reading any of the books in this series. Another great job by Amanda M. Lee.

I am enjoying these short stories more than I thought I would. I still have a hard time remembering who is the narrator since the main novels are told from Bay's perspective, but that's just me. The snark and the interactions are honest and great! Love these characters!

Another novella, but this one focusing on Thistle. Same snarky banter between the characters and a great short story to boot. Don't be put off by the fact that it's a novella. It is written just as well as the novels, with only one downside...they're over so quickly!! :0(

The story is good however having read the whole series so far it's basically the same story with a different ghost none of the twenty something characters have grown up or learned from past experiences I like snarky but this is twenty something's acting like thirteen don't know that I will continue with the series
