The Scotch Queen

I was really happy with how Scotch Queen unravels the complex characters of London and Crewe. In Scotch Queen a friendship really starts to build between these two. We get to see a much more gentler side to Crewe too, and what makes him tick. I liked him much more after this book and even began to feel bad for him. London is as strong and determined as ever to get her freedom. Unfortunately, she is going to have to make some sacrifices and manipulate some people. The question is, will her freedom cost her more than she thought it would? Does Crewe really care for her? And will London become free?I guess you'll just have to read Scotch Queen!

Wow, just wow. She broke him! She broke my Crewe. I can't fathom how he will ever forgive her now. This was such a phenomenal book, Awesome writing, scorching sex, deep love, great storyline. I thought I loved book 1, but damn! I was obsessed with this book, I kept rereading just to be in the moment a while longer. Literally counting the days for the third book. I just know its gonna be Epic!
One of the best trilogy of 2017!!

When we left The Scotch King, Crewe (aka His Hotness) and London (aka Lovely), were on their way to meet Crow and Cane from Buttons and Lace. Now this was before Button came along, when Bones still held Vanessa prisoner.

The tenderness between Crewe and London is still young, blossoming and evolving. Little gestures here and there, a few shared secrets, but London is still very much Crewe's slave. His affection for her seems to grow daily, as they spend more time together, and London's confession that he makes her feel safe thaws something inside him.

Crewe's employees (Dunbar and Ariel) are not too fond of London and she does not want to leave the relative safety of their shared bedroom without Crewe around so she tags along to his meetings. We get to see Crow and Cane before the true darkness settled in over their lives, and it was a bittersweet glimpse of who they'd been before Bones pulled the trigger.

It was heartbreaking reading about Vanessa, knowing her fate, knowing that no matter how hard her brothers fight to get her back... It'll be a lost cause. And knowing how her death will change her brothers.. It's hard to read, to say the least.

Moving on before I pour more wine.

I don't want to go into too much detail about the progression of London and Crewe's relationship throughout this book, mainly because there's no way I could cover it in this review. Pene lays it out beautifully, in words I don't have, so I won't try. A lot happens, and I couldn't hope to explain it without spoilers, and in a way that would do the story justice. So you'll have to read it for yourself.

After London and her brother Joseph devise a plan to make Crew fall in love with her, she isn't sure it will work. But will it?

I felt so bad for Crew throughout the book. He cares about London, even stopped drinking scotch. All the while she is manipulating him. Granted he did kidnap her, and plan a chip in her brother's head. It is still wrong that I feel bad for Crewe? Uh I'm so torn!

I need the last book now! I need to know what happens after that heartbreaking climax!

OMG...I 'm speechless...what an ending...!!! I did not see that coming. My heart broken for Crewe since he really loved London. She broke him. London also surprised me. I didn't think she had it in her to take that gun and point it right at her brother. She did gain her freedom, but at the price she losted Crewe. Now that she's back home, will Crewe go after her? Or is he too broken? I love this series so much. Thank you Penelope Sky, for the opportunity to read these advanced copies. These series is a must read. I cannot wait for the next installment...The Scotch Royals.

Another amazing piece of work. Penelope has the amazing ability to pull her readers in and make us feel the emotions of every one of her characters. She has flawlessly been able to tie this series into her Button series perfectly (often times other authors completely fail at this, but not Penelope). The story is never rushed, but written to keep you on the edge of your seat with all of the details. Clearly this is a piece of art, that she has clearly put thought into. It's a very develope story that flows flawlessly! Can't wait for the next book to see what happens with Crewe and London.

The Scotch Queen continues the twisted love affair of London and Crewe. I absolutely love the relationship between these two. It appears to London that Crewe is becoming more loving towards her but she is still plotting her escape! Penelope Sky has a wonderfully unique gift when it comes to writing allowing us to be drawn into the story, this allows us to start loving Crewe and London together and maybe just maybe forget how London came to be with Crewe. I am ready to read the end of this series, the story continues to surprise me.

Very good book. Fast paced with some unexpected twists and turns. Crewe and London have settled into a give and take relationship. Crewe gives into some of London's requests and London gets some privileges. They have grown close, but is it love? Infatuation? Mutual respect? Does London finally escape or get rescued? Does she want to escape or be rescued? Find out these answers and more by reading The Scotch Queen. London would make a good Queen for Crewe. Can't wait the read the 3rd book The Scotch Royals.

What an amazing follow up to the cirst book!!! In part 2 of the series we really got to know a little more about each of the characters. We got to watch Crewe morph into a better person for the woman he loves just to be betrayed. I was so caught up that literally got to the last page and was distraught that there was nothing more left. Penelope Sky out did herself with this book. I am sooooo looking foward to Royals and where the story takes us. Hopefully, Ariel and London make nice.

The Scotch Queen continues the story of London and Crewe. Crewe has become more lovable in London's eyes but she is still plotting her escape! Penelope Sky has a wonderful writing style that draws us in so that we start loving Crewe and London together and maybe just a tiny bit forget how London came to be with Crewe in the first place! Cannot wait for the conclusion to this series!

London and Crewe's relationship took a shift in a different direction. Crewe's emotions were changing and the stone around his heart was crumbling. These two had so much chemistry but at what cost. London stil wanted her freedom, but the question remains what will Crewe's do!!'
We definitely got a situation I never anticipated happening!! This story just got even better, looking forward to see how it all ends.

The 2nd installment in this series is incredible. Crewe is so much more than I thought. I felt so much compassion for him and he slowly starting making his way into my good graces once he professes to London his true feelings for her. His heart cannot take anymore betrayal so when the ultimate one comes at the hands of his Queen how can he make it back from that? The ending was totally unexpected and floored me!!!

The chemistry between London and Crewe is amazing in this one!!! It's crazy to think about how much time has passed. To see their relationship evolve. To see the man that Crewe became finally gave me the bond with them I was looking for! I understand never wanting to give up your freedom and why she still wanted it back, but I truly believe they BOTH love each other. I can't wait to see the last part of their story unfold!!!

Wow! What a journey and rollercoaster of emotions. This is the continuation of Crewe and London's story. London is still trying to get him to fall in love with her all the while actually falling in love with Crewe. Crewe is fighting falling in love with her. Will one of them succeed in getting what they want? Or will both go down in flames?

I am loving this series!! Penelope sure knows how to draw you in and take you on a roller coaster ride with your emotions from the lowest to the highest. I am enjoying seeing how their emotions and relationship are evolving despite their best attempts to deny it. The ending was simply brilliant. I am voluntarily leaving this review after receiving an advance reader copy of the book. Can't wait for the 3rd book.

I have just finished reading and I found it incredibly erotic and exciting watching London and Crew fall in love. Their chemistry is off the charts and I love them both. That being said without giving spoilers I found the ending to be somewhat, not completely, similar to another series....I am hoping that the final book in this series makes it a little less the same...bring on the Royals

Ohh my goodness!! I loved this book!! It might be Penelope's best one yet! I liked how we got to see Crewe & London's relationship grow only to be shattered in the end. Ugh!! I so wasn't expecting that ending but I really like twisty books! I loved getting to see more of Crewe's past and cannot wait to see how she wraps up this little series!

All I can say is Wow, what an emotional rollercoaster!! It was nice to be able to see London and Crew's relationship progress, although I understood why London did what she did, but i couldn't help but feel sorry for Crew. The ending was unexpected to say the least; defitnetly looking forward to the next book!!

What a great continuation to The Scotch King! London and Crewe kept me on the edge of my seat in this book.

London tried to be manipulative, but at the same time truly developed feelings. The end of the book broke my heart, but thank goodness there is a third. This is a must read series. I promise it won't disappoint. Penelope Sky is an excellent author.

OMG...I cannot believe this ending. I knew London would eventually get herself freed but I didn't think it would be at the expense of her feelings for him,. Even if she didn't want to admit it, she truly loved Crewe, and he truly loved her with all his hear and soul. How will he ever come back from that betrayal? He totally wrote Josephine off from her betrayal but he truly loved London. I cannot wait for the next book to see how they will get back together as I don't see it as being an easy road.

Love is powerful, it will make you second guess everything about yourself,your family and your enemies. Crewe has been tested and defeated in the love department twice, but his love for London will be his greatest test. I was not prepared for the emotion rollercoaster of this book, but I couldn't read it fast enough. Bring on The Scotch Royals ??

The continuation of the Scotch King! The Scotch Queen continues where the first story left off. It dives further into the relationship between Crewe and London and also delves more into the relationship and early story lines of things that happened in the past. It continues to be well written and scorching hot. Love love love Penelope Sky

One of my favorite authors and definitely one of the best! Everything Penelope Sky writes is golden and this is no exception. Though this was more of a continuation of the 1st book, rather than a true full second book, I still loved it and could not get enough! Cannot wait for the next book!

I love how London does whatever she needs to survive, while making sure that no one else gets hurt. I like that we are now seeing a different side to Crewe and Joseph, and I love the explosive end to this book! I did not see that happen. I can't wait for the next book!

The first book got me hooked. The second one damn near killed me with that ending. I thought I knew what was going to happen and then boom! I red this one in record time of about 5 hours. Bring on the Royals.

Absolutely loved the Scotch Queen! London is a perfect match for Crewe! London says she's not in love with him but the way she acts you can totally tell she is! I kinda felt bad for Crewe when he got shot and the truth came out about her manipulating him! I can't wait to read Royals!! Hopefully everyone gets what they deserve!!
