I started reading with mixed feelings but it turned out very well. What I really like is how the author clarifies difficult faith issues to the main character of the book. My idea is that only christians will want to read this book and they will not be disappointed. The views of the main character of the book could be anyone's. I also like the description of both angelic and evil entities. All in all, a great book!

An entertaining book with biblical passages to direct the readers imagination. The author brings to life the spirit world in todays world, and shows the reader the endless possibilities of both good and evil.

I picked this to read because it said "Supernatural Thriller" in the title. Plenty of supernatural, zippo thriller. The demon stuff was pretty b-movie grade and borderline laughable. The characters were ok, nothing special.

The Christian stuff, which was pretty much the entire book, well I can only blame myself for not reading the "About the Author". If I had I would have known it was a Christian book. So my bad on that. I actually enjoyed parts of the biblical stuff but after it went on and on (and on some more) a while I would start skimming. I can't knock it for being what it is I guess intended to be, a Christian book by a Christian author.

This book is inspirational. The real world invisible to us, is "exposed," and we see how prayer truly helps. It shows how God genuinely loves us and reminds us that none of us is too bad for His love nor too good to ignore His free gift.

An enjoyable book, but not very realistic. The biggest issue I had is that the book ends without a real ending. It is very much setup for a sequel and leaves this book without a large conclusion. If you do read this, you must read it as a pure fiction book as the conversations and actions of the characters are not very realistic. When comparing this book to others I have read in the spiritual warfare genre, this was not as good. "No Eye Has Seen" by Graham Carter is still my favorite and I enjoyed much more than this book. I still enjoyed this one, but not sure if I'd read the sequel if one is released.

'The Influence' takes the reader into a world where a non Christian couple are gradually confronted by good and evil. We read that God and his Son Jesus rule, and how God sends angels to help us. We also read that the devil uses evil demons to cause destruction to as many people as he can.
It is a typical good V evil, but this book looks at WHO Good really is and WHO Evil really is.
Certainly worth a read.
Very challenging.

Great storyline. Fast paced. Excellent content. Influences you to examine your own life.
We wrestle not against flesh and blood. There's a whole lot more going on behind the scenes than we know, or realize.
Great Christian suspense thriller.
I look forward to many more books from this author.

I don't read Christian fiction....well, I haven't since I was about 11 years old. I consider "Christian fiction" an oxymoron. This was hard to put down. I read it over two days ( I'm a slow reader), but enjoyed it a lot. For those of you who are familiar with Matt Slick or CARM, you will be exposed to a lot of "Slick-isms". They aren't bad, in fact many are quite good. Some of the "teaching" sections may be a bit tedious...but stick with it, it will help in the long run. Will I read Christian fiction again? Probably not....unless there is a sequel coming soon....

This is a powerful book that will get you thinking.
I was sad for the story to end because it was so good.
This is a must read!

Awesome Christian fiction. As many of the reviews on this book (which also most took the time to bash the shack) they were right about it being an excellent read. The absolute truth and righteousness was the part that makes this book worth reading

This book manage to capture everything that my mind ever wondered about the supernatural. I could not stop reading. I bought the book on Kindle but I will be purchasing the hard copy, for studying and comparison purposes. I would advise everyone who wants to know about the spiritual world to read this book. This author brought a new perspective to light and dark with his visuals and descriptions. It kept me on the edge of my seat and needing to remind myself, but my God is bigger :) It was well written, backed with scripture and left me being a better witness to those around me. Spiritual Warfare is very much alive and this is a good reminder we need to be suited up in our coat of armor and prepared at all times. EXCELLENT book that I highly recommend.

Very good read about spiritual warfare. I'm a big Frank peretti and Ted Dekker fan and this book is in the same interesting style. Matthew Slick does a great job relating the gospel into a fast paced sort about the life and death struggle between the forces of God and the devil.
