Jack Reacher's Rules

I thought it was going to be another Jack Reacher novel. What it is is a whole collection of things you already know about Jack Reacher rolled into one. Even excerpts of things he's said in prior novels. And I had to pay $9.99 to,see it. I would really like my money back. Very misleading

Have read all of the Reacher books...several, more than once. "Rules" seams to be one of those books that a consistant good writer uses to fulfill his contractual requirements to his publisher....not really up to normal Lee Child books!!

I'm a huge Reacher Creature, but this little book took 25 minutes to read and the price doesn't justify the slight reward of reading the book. You've already read all the quotes and you've already got Reacher's rules in you head. Borrow a copy from someone.

It was easy reading and enjoyed some of the memories from past books - but not exciting, humorous enough to keep me reading.
I gave it a 3 because it is after all a Jack Reacher book but I think it deserves a 2. It feels like something a publisher would want to do to get a few bucks out of a good thing.

This small book is nothing more than a compendium of Jack Reacher quotes and sayings from all the 17 novels. There is no connective process or valid rationale for printing them. Those of us who are Reacher fans have read and re-read these sayings which make sense, inform, and impact the actual story(ies). By themselves, little impact or interest is generated.
Lee Child was trying to make a quick buck and capitalize on the popularity of Reacher, especially with a film coming out. Those of us who fell far it were ripped off. Shame on the store for being a part of this sham.

I felt totally ripped off by this purchase. The "rules" weren't particularly entertaining, and it turned out to only be about a 25 minute read. Don't waste your money on this. I am a huge Jack Reacher fan, and I have read every other book in the series, but this was not worth the price.

I was expecting a Jack Reacher novel...not a index and summary of various Jack Reacher rules. Since I bought it online I did not realize what I was purchasing until it was too late to return it to the shelves.

In my opinion, this was a simple synopsis of Jack Reacher overall. Nothing was new. If you have read the entire series as I have, you'll know everything about Reacher without reading "Rules". In my opinion, a waste of my time, I suggest the author concentrate on writing another Jack Reacher novel and forget about a market making tool.

This was an extreme disappointment. There was no story line just a repeat of "rules" that Reacher uses to provide his personal guidance. If this SHORT tome was my first experience with Lee Child and Jack Reacher, it would have been my last. I can not believe that an author the quality of Lee Child would have put out this disappointing product. The very best thing that I can say about Jack Reacher's Rules is that they are a poor quality reminder of the Reacher stories.
