I chose 3 stars to indicate that I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The premise was fun even if the conclusion a bit obvious. The MOST enjoyable aspect was the level of suspense the author was able to maintain... the feeling that 'the other shoe was about to drop' at any instant. This made things enjoyable for me and made for nice evening of entertainment... Reccomended!

This was a quick but interesting read. The characters were realistic. Being from Ohio, the description of mindset and values were on point. There was suspense, sensuality and and a cohesive story line. I enjoyed this book.

Hanna wants to get away from Ohio and parents who want to plan her live. She moves to California to help out her sister who owns a catering business. Hanna meets Cross at a event her sister was catering, he gave her his card . She later learns from her sister he want her to be this sub, he was into the BDSM life style. Shocked to be told this by her sister who was also part of this life style, they go to a club that has acts for those into BDSM. Hanna is very excited by what she observes, against her sisters warning she dates Cross. He molds her to his lifestyle and she takes to it immediately, loving it. They are a loving couple growing closer the more time they spend together.They have a disagreement while visiting her family for Thanksgiving and he leaves her there. Cliffhanger

While the book had some interesting characters and the fact that SM exists, there was too much graphic detail regarding the sexual adventures in the book. This could have been handled with less graphic detail so that the sex wouldn't seem so perverted.

I really liked the character development. Hanna was inexperienced with plenty of things but she never whined about anything, minimal crying, I like that! Story line was easy to follow and adventurous.

Great Read!! Happy Cross wasn't a predicable character (handsome and damaged) and let Hanna in. I chose 5 stars because this book was so good I did not realize it was over until I saw the chapter heading "epilogue"

Not bad, no typos, a decent storyline..unforced and unhurried. Doesn't fell novella-esque or leave you in a lurch. A passable escape for an hour or two, (really?) It's better than many in this flooded niche. Basically a vanilla D/s story, contradictory? Not really. Mass produced lite kink erotica for adolescent, exoteric, and/or sophomoric tastes and quid pro quo PG-13 standard. Reaching safely, [no safe-word necessary ] it is a no show mercy, green lite go-a-head....OMG! Did they do Igmattio or the proper phraseology for thrusing/stationery fellatio /the blow bang theorum ? Que sera sera et ce la vie, its all the rage in suedo, leather allergic pseudo bdsm, not a flashing yellow light in sight , no red formerly stop signage, no chastising citations the broadest demographic is clearly served. Okay, not PG rated, N16, Mature audiences mayhap? I think you get the gist. Hey I got it free or very close,I however was not motivated to explore book#2 and so on and on and o Still worth .99 for the entertainment SUB DOLLAR DOLOR, too provokingly clever.(droolingly droll or drollingly drool signing off to spell check) CHUSE/CHOW!

Hanna has graduated and is going to her sister Juliette's to work for her, see if she likes/ can get along with her. Juliette has her own catering business, does have a secret side to her not everyone knows. At a party Hanna is working, Cross approaches her, mistaking her for her sister, he hadn't met, makes her an offer, unknowingly she is assuming it is a job offer. Story is full of surprises, excitement, unknown, BDSM, kidnapping, fear of unknown, what will happen next? With Cross and Hanna? With Juliette? Great story, cannot wait for next story with Cross and Hanna!!
