ELMO'S BIG LIFT-AND-

I have nothing but great things to say about this book, it is one of my 22 month old daughter's favorites. The book is very large and colorful with a lot of learning opportunities and fun Sesame Street characters. The first couple of pages are characters and other items hiding under the flaps (Bert and Ernie, Big Bird, cupcakes, shoes, hot dogs, etc.). The next 2 pages are lift the flap alphabet letters with a picture underneath each letter. Then there are 2 pages on different shapes with pictures (diamond is a kite, rectangle is a semi, circle is a sun) - and finally a lift the flap of things hiding in a classroom. It takes a while to get through all the book, and my daughter enjoys pointing everything out to me. I highly recommend this book!

This wonderful Sesame Street book arrived directly into the hands of my grandson. I even heard him over the phone as his little questions started. He finally got it open and what a surprise. He loves the lift-and-look books. He read this one again and again.

My 19 mo loves this book! Good quality thick pages and flaps.... of a child is going to rip it, it’s going to get ripped.... that’s what toddlers do. Didn’t bother me too much when she ripped a flap.

Very interesting method to learn numbers, letters, and other concepts. The book flaps make the book more appealing, but, even though flaps are strong, it's a fact that they can tear. Don't let this stop you from buying this fantastic book.

Both of my children absolutely love this book. I purchased it for my son for his first birthday and he still loves it 3 years later. My 1 year old girl is obsessed with it too and loves to read it over and over again and open the flaps. This book is a winner.

So many people gave good reviews to this book, but I cannot. I just received it and the flaps came off the first time I tried to open them. I noticed another recent review that indicated a similar problem. This makes me wonder if there has been a change in the manufacturing process. The pictures are very cute, but I had to spend an hour taping all the flaps. How annoying. Beware!!

I bought this to inspire my 18 month old grandson but you'll have to put it up because younger toddlers like to pull on the cardboard tags. He hasn't torn anything off YET but that's only because I've been vigilant about moving it out of his way when we're finished with it.

If you let a toddler do this they will tear every tab and it will be difficult for them to even find the tabs. Any child into Sesame Street and who isn't will love this book!

this was for my daughters first baby, who just turned a year old.. It is built very well and bigger size than I thought. Nova LOVES this book as one of her favorites...I would buy more of these books and it also came very quickly :) Highly recommended

Our 20mo girls love love love this book. They can open and close flaps, learn new words/colors/shapes, and of course see their beloved Elmo on all the pages. This is one of the few books in our library that keeps their attention for 15+ mins. Note that it is a really BIG book so it's not very portable. Still highly recommend.

This book is not as colorful as Sesame Street Elmo's Favorite Places. Some of the cutouts were misplaced so the picture underneath isn't centered. Some of the cutouts were impossible to open by an adult. I think it needs to be cut again. I would not recommend it.
