My son wanted this book, he is a conspiracy nut. My husband read the book first, then we gave it to my son! My husband said it was a very good read, a little far out there, but a good read. Fast shipping. Thanks.

It's a very detailed book. I appreciate the way he lays it out. Small text tho. I mean they killed him for being an enemy of the state n the book was still released. They could've let him live ig this is case! Anyways, it has exactly what I need to know. I'm what they call a conspiracy theorist. I like it. He was a smart fella.

Im into the whole conspiracy thing. Like, what could anyone possible be sure about. This book makes me think more that thins just happen as a result of human nature of the masses. This guy kills his own credibility by publishing a book with tons of misspellings. He draws some interesting correlations, and no doubt, maybe some powerful people do messed up stuff. But his claims are mostly just his word. Misspelled at that. Its good to read just so you know where all these quotes come from, but definitely didn't awaken me.

I try to read as much as I can on these topics, so I thought I would see what Cooper had to say.
Probably did not find anything that I had not read before and I cannot determine if the documents he shows are real.
His experience in the Navy and the UFO sighting that he describes is very interesting.

Hard to read for me and keep my interest. I Will keep trying, even if it's a bit at a time. I have a hard time keeping my attention focused on the subject matter. this seems to be a book, not just for those who like to "read" , but to make the reader think . It definitely captures the confusion and diabolical movements of our Political System.

So much is hidden from the public, after 50 years the truth comes out about the killing of JFK and his brother and his son. Why were the paintings of the 15 & 16th centuries have UFO's on the canvas? They were quite common then but not now, ever wonder why? Read this book and know the answers. I have ordered multiple copies of this for friends who doubt it all but on U-Tube all can view this lie.

Interesting book, someone gave me a copy 15 years ago and I never read it. Then someone in a supermax prison asked me for a copy, I thought I'd read it before sending it. It is a book about conspiracies, UFOs, secret governments and the like. The author, Cooper, was killed under mysterious circumstances after 911. Some say that Cooper predicted 911, I'm not buying it, but as the world gets stranger and stranger, I'm not surprised that there is still some demand for this book.

The author is very passionate about the subjects he covers in his book. In my opinion, his passion clouds his own research and the documentation he has (or others have) obtained through FOIA requested documents. As a reader, I'm drawn to tales of the unexplained, strange historical events with odd connections, underground and covert groups, mysterious objects, phenomena, and apparitions, but I prefer to read about these events in a more scientific and informative, perhaps clinical, way. I know how difficult it is to withhold or suppress one's emotions when relaying a subject or story which you are passionate about. A good storyteller must convey to the listener or reader the emotions of a story. However, when the subjects are as broad as what is being told in this collection, it's important to be factual and clinical, minimizing opinion. That's my opinion.

Bought this because my son's college professor suggested the class read it. What he has read so far is interesting and rather alarming. Because he is now away at school that is all I know (and has the book with him). He enjoyed what he was able to read in the brief time he was home.

I am still reading this book. Politics has never been an easy subject for me, but the way William Cooper explains it in his book I am slowly coming around. I had a friend who talked about this book and about aliens a lot a couple of years ago. She was informed about these matters when she was doing time in prison for being dumb. I thought she was opinionated and was making excuses for the inequalities we face. I am beginning to form my own opinions now. The funny part about this book is that a lot of music I listened to, the artists talked about the same stuff that is in this book and I did not realized it till now. Actually when you research many people and some artist that have gone to prison get a hold of Behold A Pale Horse and begin to analyze the truth about the media, TV and the music industry. Many rappers write about it in their music and some even expose it.

Picked up this book after a recommendation on a forum. Turned out to be about what I expected. Some info was so-so and some pretty interesting. It's not a blockbuster but I recommend it if you get around to it.

A conspiracy theorist bible the author does make some spot on points. But for some of his rants its seems like just that rants nonetheless its interesting to see how much information he has uncovered.

the beginning of this book reads a lot better than the last half, interesting thoughts, makes you think a bit and if true ummm what can you do? It makes you feel a bit powerless on changing much of anything. Especially considering this guy was shot down, now the big question is to shut him up? or because he did something to cause this action against him. The only one's who would know are the people involved I guess

While it's an "interesting" read, can't be sure that this guy was in his right mind. How could one guy have witnessed such a large number of wild 'n crazy things? I might believe if he had been privy to 1,2, or even 3 crazy things. But he goes though most of his adult life "witnessing" so many UFO sightings, government conspiracies, and other crazy things that his tale is just not believable.

I am a very conservative military veteran with a healthy amount of distrust and skepticism for the mainstream but this book is a bit of a stretch.

I believe this author was beyond paranoid and I believe to be suffering severely from mental illness. I believe he meant everything he said and I can't imagine the terror of living in a world where you believe this stuff is reality. I bought this book hoping it would be entertaining but many of the chapters droned on (especially the protocols chapter), the "evidence" had major flaws, and many of the points were blurry at best.

In the end this book was entertaining at times, boring at most, and a look into the head of a traumatized and terrified author.

The USG has plenty of plans and rules in place in the event of an emergency - the author is a little hysterical about the dark possibilities. The fact that many of these laws are decades old is should provide some solace. But point taken that the government is run by people who don't always have the best intentions. We are we served to guard our freedoms jeaously.

In 1993, one of my favorite television shows of all time debuted: The X-Files. Only eight years old, I was enthralled by the idea that there were strange, mysterious happenings all around us and a shadowy government working to keep the truth from us at all costs. As I grew up, I came to appreciate the show as excellent entertainment, but not something that would keep me up at night thinking of real-world implications. I realized life is just not quite that interesting.

William Cooper's book reads like a very long, poorly written, disorganized X-Files episode. Don't get me wrong - it was very entertaining to read as a kid, but now that I know better, it's pretty damn silly. Yes, there are plenty of truths woven throughout the book - but the same could be said for the X-Files.

What has led this country down the dark path it finds itself on? Not a well-orchestrated plan of domination, but human greed, incompetence and failed logic. We are all guilty for our collective willingness to believe, without a shred of proof, that things would work out okay. Everyone wants a life filled with truth and revelation, and when we don't find it, we tend to ascribe unwarranted meaning to fill the void - Cooper's book is a perfect example of this.

Bottom line: if you are a white middle-aged male who wears Native-American jewelry, takes peyote and poops outside, this book is probably for you. Those of us who don't don tinfoil on our heads must look elsewhere for answers.

This 150,000 word book is an example of literary extremism. The earnestness of the author, the demanding nature of some of the sub-sections, and the eccentricity of the over-all structure. This treatise of conspiracy theory was published in 1991 with both the title and the content seeking to convey a drastic sense of urgency. By now, almost a full twenty-seven years have past and the content of this book can be from that standpoint. Throughout the entire review here I want to emphasize all due respect for the service and untimely passing of the quixotic author. May God rest his soul for all eternity, and may Milton William Cooper find abiding peace in the afterlife that all too frequently evaded him in this mortal existence. For many months in Vietnam, he was working 21 hours per day. Prior to that, he had gone through the rigors of submarine service. He left this mortal existence seventeen years ago, by all accounts violently. While at times I may be sharply critical of the book's contents, I do not mean sharp criticism of the deceased author. For those that have read this book, they will be aware that he provides that without intervention.

Which is not to diminish his virtues and his strengths. He loved this flawed nation with his whole heart, he had a strong devotion to his friends and especially his family, for many years after leaving the military he was an educator and trade school administrator; anyone who aspires to read this book, despite its lack of conventional organization, will need to be dedicated so as to grapple with the sections like Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars, the Newstates of America, and the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion (and with this last section, he was prudent to clarify that he did not mean it as anti-semitic propagandizing, but rather as a tool to help understand the unrestrained ambitions of the power elite). The primary concern with this book is the intense urgency that seems to have forced the author to abandon any conventional organization (some of the material in the appendices is so poorly reproduced as to be difficult to read).

The title of Behold a Pale Horse clearly suggests an impending catastrophe. Certainly over the last three decades, there have been such events. The destruction of the World Trade Center on Sept 11, 2001 is central, along with the extended campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan and the concurrent Great Recession. The events of 9/11 plunged the nation into a brief, yet completely unexpected recession, and the subsequent military activities in those two nations witnessed up to 200,000 service members being deployed without a draftee force (although this did involve involuntary extensions and mobilizations from the inactive ready reserve). Furthermore, those significant military involvements occurred during an economic downturn where unemployment reached 10%, where there were extensions to the unemployment benefit up to 18 months, and where the worst month for job loss was a net decrease of 700,000 in a workforce of over 125 million. While the Great Recession came to an end nine years ago, more recently there have been increasing numbers of domestic mass casualty incidents despite a seemingly robust economy. Certainly, there has been hardship and unforeseen calamities since the release of this book.

Not surprisingly, the author foresaw none of this, and his contention is that the power elite has considered three different alternatives: 1.Use nuclear devices to blast holes in the stratosphere from which the heat and pollution could escape; 2.build a vast network of underground cities and tunnels in which a select representation of all cultures and occupations would survive; and 3.exploit the alien and conventional technology in order for a select few to leave the earth and establish colonies. Because I have attended lectures given by Stephen Greer, and because I have recently watched a couple youtube lectures by Phil Schneider concerning the 'deep underground military bases' I am inclined to give the second of the three alternatives the most credence. By way of background (and the author provides plenty, with a brief, thorough autobiography at the beginning, and his complete military discharge paperwork in one of the appendices), his life-long project of studying and (in his opinion) exposing the machinations of the power elite were informed by a central experience during his submarine service: 'As [Ensign Ball] bent over the 1MC, I turned, raising my binoculars to my eyes just in time to see a huge disk rise from beneath the ocean, water streaming from the air around it, tumble lazily on its axis, and disappear into the clouds ... I had seen a flying saucer the size of an aircraft carrier [which is about 1000 feet long from end to end] come right out of the ocean and fly into the clouds ... I looked back toward the spot about 15 degrees relative off the port bow and about 2.5 nautical miles distant. Nothing, not even a hint of what had happened.'

The severity of these early life experiences, in addition to his later training as an internal security specialist, helped to shape a major section entitled The Secret Government where the author articulates six conclusions: 1.The secret power structure may believe that by our own ignorance or by divine guidance, planet Earth will self-destruct in the near future [remember, this book was published in late 1991]; 2.We are being manipulated by a joint human/alien power structure which will result in a one-world government and the partial enslavement of the human race; 3.The government has been totally deceived and we are being manipulated by an alien power, which will result in the total enslavement and/or destruction of the human race; 4.If none of the above are true, something else may be happening which is beyond our ability to understand at this moment; 5.There is always the possibility that I was used, that this whole alien scenario is the greatest hoax in history designed to create an alien enemy from outer space in order to expedite the formation of a one-world government.

Obviously, there is no one-world government (although some would argue there is an increasing tension with the forces of globalization, such as the entire 'Brexit' situation a couple years ago and the more general stresses of the EU which has a common currency and legislative assembly (without governing authority) and pretty much none of the other apparatus of a genuine sovereign entity), and there is no direct enslavement of the population (although there is a much more noticeable divide between the power elite and the rest of the US population, with the middle class having sustained considerable damage in the last quarter century, with Detroit a conspicuous example). In the section 'Anatomy of An Alliance' there is this statement: '...the threatened extinction of the human race ... may materialize within the next 100 years. ... The elite ... were told that by or shortly after the year 2000 the total collapse of civilization as we know it and the possible extinction of the human race could occur. It could occur, that is, if we did not destroy the earth with nuclear weapons before then.'

This severe urgency is combined with an inexplicably bizarre manner of conducting his research. For example, the chapter 'Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars' actually states 'the following document was found ... in an IBM copier that had been purchased at a surplus sale.' This essay begins by describing that 'Social engineering (the analysis and automation of a society) requires the correlation of great amounts of constantly changing economic information (data), so a high-speed computerized data processing system was necessary which could race ahead of the society and predict when society would arrive for capitulation.' This subsection goes on to describe that '...the silent weapon is a type of biological warfare. It attacks the vitality, options, and mobility of the individuals of society by knowing, understanding, manipulating, and attacking their sources of natural and social energy, and their physical, mental, and emotional strength and weaknesses.' '...the low class family unit must be disintegrated by a process of increasing preoccupation of the parents and the establishment of government-operated day-care centers for the occupationally orphaned children.'

Here we find some of the most enduring truth of this book, with the incredible damage done to the family and the middle class in the time since this book was released. More marriages end in divorce, more and more children are born out of wedlock, fewer people get married, those who do marry get married later in life, there is less stability with long-term employment (more typically a person changes jobs every five or eight years, whereas a couple generations ago this could easily have been lifelong employment with a single organization), and the jobs that are available have less purchasing power. Over the last half century (and anyone interested in a detailed breakdown can watch the lecture 'The Coming Collapse of the Middle Class' by Elizabeth Warren, available on youtube) the typical cost of housing has all but doubled, the average cost of public university for in-state residents (including tuition, fees, room and board, and accounting for inflation) has fully tripled, and indebtedness has become much more the norm. There are hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people, who have 30, 40, or 50 thousand dollars in debt for liberal arts degrees that are, at best, semi-marketable. Furthermore, the economy has witnesses the routinization of outsourcing white collar work. Facebook, obviously an indigenous company, has been declared to be an 'H1B dependent employer' because more than 15% of its employees are H1B guest workers.

The United States used to have a very broad, very stable, middle class. This is no longer the case. Over the last half century, the proportion of jobs that are part-time has increased by 30%, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (from about 14% to about 18% of the overall workforce), which goes right along with the increased indebtedness, the decreased purchasing power, and the increased mismatch between the degrees that people have and what the real economy demands. The overall labor force participation rate has increased as well (from 59% to 63%), which means more people are working and having less to show for it. The long-term stability of the United States during the the Cold War is no more and this is a much more multi-polar world with increasing consolidation of wealth with the international power elite.

That consolidation of wealth and power is central to the section entitled 'The Protocols of the Wise Men of Zion.' This sub-section is prefaced with the comment 'any reference to 'Jews' should be replaced with the word 'Illuminati' and the word 'Goyim' should be replaced with the word 'cattle.' This is very much like the preface to the essay on silent weapons, as a seemingly desperate attempt to shoe-horn the respective chapters into the overall work. As mentioned above, both are well worth reading for the dedicated student and still reflect the overall disjointed structure. As a sidenote, this disjointed tendency is so extreme as to even suggest it is at least partly deliberate so as to force these dedicated students to look at life in the United States in a very different way. This is similar to the discussion in None Dare Call It Conspiracy that suggests even tabloid journalism can at times render useful content. With the World Trade Center attack referenced above, the pilot episode of The Lone Gunmen (the spinoff from the X Files about the freelance investigators who provide logistical assistance to Fox Mulder) is pertinent because it directly references a terrorist plot to attack the World Trade Center with a high-jacked airliner (this pilot episode came out in the spring of 2001, about six months before the actual event). Obviously, correlation is not causation and this is not to dismiss having a skeptical, truth-seeking perspective. At the same time, it is perhaps a cautionary tale to not have such a smug, dismissive attitude when discussing seemingly eccentric or strange topics.

The Protocols essay goes on to describe that 'It is only with a despotic ruler that plans can be elaborated extensively and clearly in such a way as to distribute the whole properly among the several parts of the machinery of the State: from this the conclusion is inevitable that a satisfactory form of government for any country is one that concentrates in the hands of one responsible person. Without an absolute despotism there can be no existence for civilization which is carried on not by the masses but by their guide, whosoever that person may be. The mob is a savage and displays its savagery at every opportunity. The moment the mob seizes freedom in its hands it quickly turns to anarchy.' In all honesty this reminds me of the trajectory of South Africa since this book was published. It was easy enough to condemn apartheid from afar, even though the Black African population exploded during apartheid and the white minority government built the largest hospital in the world to service this community. Furthermore, it was easy enough to lionize Nelson Mandela as a champion of freedom even though he had been in charge of the paramilitary wing of the ANC, and for this entire time the ANC has maintained its relationship with the South African Communist Party via the Tripartite Alliance. Jacob Zuma has been so widely despised that it reminds me of the passage from Baha'i scripture (one of Baha'u'llah's epistles to world leaders) with the query, 'Hath thy pomp made thee proud? By My Life! It shall not endure; nay, it shall soon pass away, unless thou holdest fast by this firm Cord. We see abasement hastening after thee, whilst thou art of the heedless.' Zuma resigned from office and was soon replaced by Ramaphosa. The current timeframe is one where the ANC is losing more and more of the vote out of fewer and fewer people actually voting, and the organization seems to be doubling down with advocacy for 'expropriation without compensation.' While the white minority generally has lower levels of unemployment and is less victimized by violent criminality, this is not the case for the relative few farming households. The South Africa Farm Murders have attracted national attention. The ANC has patriotic songs that celebrate the murder of Dutch-speaking white farmers, and historically the Boer War (Boer being the Dutch word for farmer) witnessed the British expeditionary force utilizing actual concentration camps to incarcerate Boer non-combatants, who died in massive numbers and thus forced the total surrender of the vastly outnumbered Boer militia forces.

Please understand that Cooper was hardly advocating for such a despotism, and was much more in favor of a traditionalist interpretation of the Constitution and declared this to be his creed: 'I believe first in God, the same God in which my ancestors believed. I believe in Jesus Christ and that he is my saviour. Second, I believe in the Constitution of the Republic of the United States of America, without interpretation, as it was written and meant to work. I have given my sacred oath 'to protect and defend the Constitution ... against all enemies foreign and domestic.' I intend to fulfill that oath. Third, I believe in the family unit and, in particular, my family unit. I have sworn that I will give my life, if it is required, in defense of God, the Constitution, or my family. Fourth, I believe that any man without principles that he is ready and willing to die for at any given moment is already dead and is of no use or consequence whatsoever.'

Contained within that creed is the virtue that shaped Cooper's life: his unyielding devotion to his friends, family, and nation (as he understood the latter to be). I can only imagine that for those who had gained his trust it was as if they were blood brothers. At the same time, this unyielding rigidity seems to have informed the disjointed nature of this work. Please understand I am hardly attempting to debunk him in every detail. I am inclined to believe what he witnessed during his submarine duty, that there were recovered UFOS particularly in the years immediately after World War Two (which involved the usage of atomic weapons), that there have been and quite possibly are 'deep underground military bases' that help to explain the vast nature of the military-industrial complex (and the hundreds of billions of dollars that seem to have been left unaccounted), and that there have been genuine efforts to reverse engineer some of this technology. At the same time, the United States of 2018 is not the same entity it was in the 1770s an 1780s with small frontier towns and a fragile national identity. There are far greater levels of complexity involved, and thus there is the need for interpretation and reform.

A main example of this is the chapter on the Constitution of the Newstates of America. Unlike the essays on the Protocols and Silent Weapons, this was not discovered during a garage sale or left in a photocopier and does not involve switching out certain words for other words so as to gain the correct meaning. On the whole, this seemed like a sensible document for national governance, although I can hardly imagine it will be implemented in the next few years, if ever. There are about a dozen references to declaring a national state of emergency. At one point this proposed governing document states 'Those who cannot contribute to productivity shall be entitled to a share of the national product; but distribution shall be fair and the total may not exceed the amount for this purpose held in the National Sharing Fund [thus there is explicit discouragement of deficit spending].' At another point it states that 'There shall be a responsibility to avoid violence and to keep the peace; for this reason the bearing of arms or the possession of lethal weapons shall be confined to the police, members of the Armed Forces, and those licensed under law.' There is little in this essay that seems harmful, and while there are these explicit references to declaring a state of emergency, there are similar documents within the U.S. governing literature, such as executive order 11490. Of course, that is likely to raise the hackles of the more conspiracy-minded, and at the same time over the last three decades there has been no generally declared state of emergency. There have been localized states of emergency, such as the 1992 Los Angeles Riots, and Hurrica Katrina in 2005. The worst that perhaps can be said is that there has been a mild, widespread degradation of civil liberties with the implementation of the TSA and the disclosure that federal security agencies have deep access into the personal communications of essentially the entire population. While I do not want to be casually dismissive of this, there is still the reality of situational awareness (personal education on IT matters) and obfuscation among a US population of almost a third of a billion permanent residents.

Furthermore, I do not see the harm in deliberately seeing to the welfare of the truly needy in the primary governing document, as referenced with a 'national sharing fund.' This does not mean the entire nation will become welfare addicted. Much of that has already occurred in the United States with our current constitution and governing system. I personally share little of the enthusiasm for the gun rights lobby. I am hardly a prohibitionist, and at the same time few people realize just how inundated the United States is with civilian fire arms. For the last few years I have worked with a retired member of the Canadian Army, and in many parts of that nation there is little concern about the open carry of rifles during hunting season (that nation has its own robust gun culture, and personal carry of a pistol is generally restricted to armored car drivers). That begs the question, though, that the United States has a rate of civilian fire arm ownership that is more than triple that of Canada. Of course, the rate of intentional homicide in the United States is a few times higher than that in the 'True north Strong and Free' so I do support broad availability of privately held fire arms. I just do not see the wisdom in automatically granting concealed carry licenses and permitting private citizens to own as many sidearms as they prefer. Proper registration, proper background verification, and proper training are good things and my impression is that this is more in line with 'may issue' with concealed carry applications. I do not mean that to be so rigorous as to be a de facto 'will not issue.' I would imagine that in frontier communities of the nineteenth century concealed carry was frequently considered to be anti-social. Are we to be so much more protective of this personal preference?

Close to the issue of personal autonomy with gun ownership and usage, there is the concern of some about the usage of concentration camps as a way to subdue dissidents and facilitate broader societal control. Mentioned above is the history of South African Boers, who were placed in concentration camps in large numbers and died in large numbers (in proportion to the overall size of their community, not in absolute numbers), along with the fact that the governing ANC has a long-standing alliance with the Communist Party. In addition to this, there is a leftist faction in the legislative assembly called the Economic Freedom Fighters who wear red to parliamentary sessions and their leader Julius Malema has called for the citizenship rights of the white minority to be revoked. According to Frans Cronje of the South Africa Institute for Race Relations, there is the increased possibility in the next decade of an outright alliance between the ANC and the EFF. Obviously, this does not bode well for the white minority. At the same time, according to wikipedia, the rate of private firearm ownership in the United States is twelve times higher than that of South Africa (which has an intentional homicide rate several times higher than the US). With the apparently severe restrictions on private firearm ownership in South Africa, the white minority has still managed to put together a massive Civil Defense organization called the Suidlanders (due to the hostile environment witnessed by the content of the ANC's patriotic anthems, the lack of a focused counter strategy to the Farm Murders, and the overall breakdown of South African society). The term 'concentration camp' is mentioned a couple dozen times in Behold a Pale Horse and apparently Cooper had actually filed suit against the federal government for its FEMA-related concentration camp program (which went nowhere).

Furthermore, Cooper describes that there are efforts to use the mental health system to facilitate 'world citizenship:' 'prejudice, hostility, or excessive nationalism may become deeply embedded in the developing personality without awareness on the part of the individual concerned. In order to be effective, efforts of changing individuals must be appropriate to the successive stages of the unfolding personality. While in case of a group of society, change will be strongly resisted unless an attitude of acceptance has been engendered.' This was combined with a proposal for a system of community mental health clinics to inculcate this ethos of world citizenship, alongside discussion that the federal government would implement these concentration camps to incarcerate non-conformists and ardent patriots. The irony is that this type of excessive nationalism would also apply to Julius Malema. This begs the question, though, that in the three decades since this book came out there has been no implementation of a concentration camp system. Of course, there have been many rumours in the last three years about Operation Jade Helm and the unexpected closure of otherwise profitable Wal-Marts for supposed plumbing repairs. I am certainly not stating as an absolute that this will never occur, and the time horizon for implementation must be significantly longer than what had originally concerned Mr. Cooper.

Similar to the concern about the implementation of concentration camps is the strategy to move the economy away from physical cash, and the author dwells on this in chapter seven concerning HR 5210, and states that 'the act establishes a requirement to record and verify the ID of a purchaser of a money order or other financial instrument of $3000 or more [and] orders a study to be made on whether to withdraw $100 bills and $50 bills from circulation. This would virtually propel us into a cashless society. $23 million dollars has been allocated for a machine-readable identity document program. The excuse used is to be able to identify known criminals who attempt to cross borders. The type of border is not named (required in legislation) and could be the border of your city, county, or state. It also raises the question of how they are going to get the criminals to accept the identity document program without requiring all citizens to participate.' This has yet to be implemented; with debit cards and online banking it is much more straightforward to minimize the usage of cash and all these currency notes are still in circulation. Whether or not they will be removed is obviously difficult to predict. The discussion of a national identity card program (which is also mentioned in George Friedman's book The Next Decade and dismissed as too difficult to implement) could go along with a concentration camp program, with both programs curtailing freedom of movement. Similarly, that begs the question that neither program has been implemented. Of course, with FEMA there is a great deal that is on the books that *could* be implemented in time of national emergency and by way of executive order. When, if ever, such an occurence will be realized is anyone's guess.

As mentioned above, I gave the greatest credence to alternative two. In this book, 'deep underground military bases' are referenced three different times. Recently, I watched the youtube video called the 'Alberino Analysis' for this type of subteranean architecture. I have watched the video a couple times, and it is an eerily compelling discussion by Phil Schneider. Also, fifteen years ago, I worked with a former army intelligence officer and he confirmed that there have been indeed five thousand dollar hammers. He did not ascribe that to shunting funds to black budget projects like D.U.M.B.s and at the same time had no ready explanation. The Mt. Weather complex has been readily identified, and in the chapter on the Secret Government the author describes: 'The Secret White House underground-construction fund was set up in 1957 by President Eisenhower. The funding was obtained from Congress under the guise of 'construction and maintenance of secret sites where the President could be taken in case of military attack: Presidential Emergency Sites. The sites are literally holes in the ground, deep enough to withstand a nuclear blast, and are outfitted with state-of-the-art communications equipment. To date there are more than 75 sites spread around the country which were built using money from this fund. The Atomic Energy Commission has built at least an additional 22 underground sites.' This strikes me as the most plausible of the author's three alternatives, and avoids some of the excesses of the other two options.

There are other times in this book when the author makes unrestrained assertions, such as there being areas on the moon with breathable atmosphere, that there have been UFOs identified carrying human body parts, and there is a section of the appendices where the author of the Mindwar program is dressed like a stereotypical Satanist. Furthermore, there are excerpts from the book Report from Iron Mountain which has been widely discussed as a hoax. From the initial experiences of the author in the navy and subsequent training as an internal security specialist, he had a solid foundation to explore black budget operations; this book has much food for thought especially with the Newstates constitution, Protocols, and Silent Weapons essay. There are a number of unexplained excesses and an incoherent structure that lacks conventional introductory and concluding material. And in the author's defense, there is also the fifth conclusion in the Shadown Government chapter (referenced above) that he could have been manipulated to engage in this research. This book covers so much terrain that I invite any curious person to read this for himself and come to his own conclusions. Much of this book is difficult to summarize, let alone directly verify.

While the collection of notes and evidence presented as a book do contain some factual and truthful elements, it is highly fragmented, disorganized, and hyperbolic. Extremely unreadable, this is not a book. It has no coherent literary structure, doesn't even attempt to prove its hypothesis, and even fails to entertain or inform. Some elements are interesting on their existential merits. But as a work of literature, this is trash. It is a poorly organized file.

I'm all for conspiracy and anti big government, etc., but I just can't reconcile the crap in the beginning of this book with an intelligent person. The claims he makes about his friend and then getting financially shafted are hard to believe. You'd have to be a idiot to get into that predicament. His naval stories are just as funny. Stopped reading.

Do you believe in conspiracy theories ? UFO's? Perhaps you do not. Once you read this book you may change your mind. I myself am not one for conspiracy theories and I may not necessarily buy into all the author's conclusions but after reading this book I now have my eyes opened.

William Cooper served in the military with high honors. He served on boat crew and submarines during the Vietnam War and he also served in air force. Numerous times during his service he spotted several UFOs and heard a great many stories. He was told in a nutshell to keep his mouth shut. His book will dedicate one chapter on UFO's.

Most of the book is concerned with the Illuminati or secret societies that plan on taking control of the world. In the up coming chapters he details their plans and he supports his contentions by and large with legitimate and track able information.

The Secret Organizations like the Council of Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission, Skull and Bones and certain Masonic groups just to name a few compose the Illuminati. Oh and let us not forget the Catholic Church and the Black Nobility. Oops I forgot the Knights of Malta. It seems that all influential individuals have had some sort of affiliation with one or more of these groups. The information is track able and cannot be sneezed at.

What exactly is there plan. The first part of the plan is to control the currency, a job made easier with the advent of computer and technology. Control the currency and you control the country. We use reserve notes now not actual money. Something to think about. Loans are easy to come by but just because you borrowed money does not mean you own the property. The Bank can claim it anytime. Easy credit makes people complacent and lazy. So does welfare. Part of their plan is to destroy the family unit. This destruction is brought about by the excessive day care centers for poor people. Both parents or single parents working means the system raises your children. The education is also being tampered with. Children in poorer areas are being given an inferior education and are allotted fewer resources. Uneducated people are easier to control. The media also puts ideas into the minds of the people ,especially with high material demands of some upper class females. The man had better give in or he is whipped. This sort of set up leaves the man as spineless and unable to raise his children. It easy then for him to send his sons off to war.

There have always been secret societies. People like belonging to the special crowd of people. They like being the elite. Joining entails initiation, special passwords and rituals. These help to ensure loyalty to people and ideologies. Most of these organizations have been dedicated to Luciferian principles and their symbol was often that of the serpent. The Serpent represented Wisdom or illumination. These secret societies have motives for running the world. Some think they are doing what is best for mankind while other are more sinister. Either way they view the common people as cattle that to be lead and ruled.

Many of these organizations have separate agendas. The Catholic Church wants the Pope in power. The Church is assisted by the Knights of Malta. Other organizations wish to run the show behind the scenes. The Black Nobility are the old royalty of Medieval Europe and they are still a power to be reckoned with. They might even be more powerful now that they are out of Royal power.

As far as the United States is concerned the Secret Organization have special plans to abolish the constitution and erect work camps for various people. The president has through certain clauses the ability to write certain orders that do not require congress or the Judicial branch of government. During national emergencies the constitution can be suspended indefintiley. The government also has files and information on patriots and others who might fight this problem and all the pertinent information that pertains. When the time comes the government has set up detention centers ready to receive these patriots. At this point they will be reprogrammed or killed. The Illuminati's plan is one world government and enslaving the world. In their world we will have no right. Just think about this , the prison industry is the fastest growing industry. Convicts will be expected to perform labor for free. Sounds like slavery to me.

Let us not forget FEMA. They have authority that kicks in as soon as a national emergency develops. The Constitution is suspended and they take control. Iron Mountian is an entire city under ground literally. It also has and alternate president, congress, judiciary you name it they got it.

UFOs play a big part. They have already established contact. The US government has crashed UFOs in their possession. They also have the bodies of dead aliens. One crashed UFO even had the body parts of humans which goes to show that they are abducting humans and using them for experiments. Needless to say diplomatic relations have already been established. We have a few of them here as hostages and they have some of ours. Apparently a secret agreement has been reached. They give us technology and the government allows them to experiment on people. The experiments are supposed to be few in number and are not supposed to harm the subjects. This has been breached by the aliens but our technology is not sufficient to fight them.

The contends that we already have sent people to Mars, Venus, and even Jupiter. We have colonies on the moon and other places. Astronauts and airforce pilots have attested to not only seeing UFOs but also to having been accompanied by them.

What is the Alien agenda, why of course to control our world which they do through the secret societies who in turn manipulate people through Occult groups, religion, Santanism and what have you.

The book has a lot. The last 1/3 has appendices and sources that seen very real. It maybe hard to slog though but what you read will blow you away.

Pure unadulterated tin foil hat stuff. After some interesting talk about modeling society after analog amplifiers with talk of capacitance and impedance the author goes deep.

I must say it takes a very creative mind to conceive that the Galileo space probe to Jupiter was a cover for setting off an atomic explosion to turn it into a minor star. Wish I had thought of that. Good stuff here.

And of course the ultimate form of personal violation is now upon us - the pet tracking chips being piggybacked into our bodies via an AIDS vaccine.

Toss in some alien abduction material, the obligatory Area 51 stuff and then bring it to slow simmer with a few hundred pages of secret society lore and you have the ultimate conspiracy handbook.

The guy is nuts, one more argument for the repeal of the 2nd Amendment.

Update 11-2014
I find Coopers bending over backwards to defend the Jews distasteful. Even though most average Jews are ignorant victims in all this they still use the old 1984 programming of "Anti-Semite" for their own benefit and support the ADL/Bnai Brith. The top of the pyramid is the Kabbalistic/Talmudic fusion directed by an OVERWHELMING evidence of Jewish families and agents PERIOD. Jews change their names to hide their Jewishness ALL THE TIME. Freemasonry is controlled by the Jews through the Bnai Brith. Cooper has you going around in circles about the Scottish Rite but they are only a lower link in the chain NOT THE HEAD of the beast. I have found him inaccurate in many instances and thus to not be taken on faith alone. The REAL religion of the Jews is self worship as laid out in the TALMUD and the Zohar, which Cooper unaccountably almost completely IGNORES, not to mention the Martinists and Frankist schools. A MUCH better book is by Chrisina Stoddard/INquire Within called "The Trail of the Serpent" and her "Light Bearers of Darkness" when it comes to the Secret Societies aspect of the Jewish Atheist Luciferian NWO conspiracy.

William Guy Carr, Pawns in the Game/Satan Prince of this World, RCMP etc preceded Cooper by about 50-70 years in his overall Babylonian theories, Spiridovich(although misguided into being a Rockefeller defender), Nesta Webster, John Robison, Alexander Hislop, Lady Queensburogh and others as well. His aliens as Psy-op was preceded by the Report from Iron Mountain and mind control is covered in greater detail elsewhere like Jim Keith, Springmeier, O'Brien, Delgado, Brice Taylor, Candy Jones etc

But Bill Cooper has been one of the best exposers of the machinations of the Luciferian NWO agenda of all time. With his book and radio show, mostly the radio show, he has done a lot towards defeating these generations of vipers. Education of both ourselves and others are our real weapon, just pass on as much as you've learned to family, friends and anyone who will listen and you have done a great part in preserving the truth. Future generations will be able to utilize this knowledge to one day gaining the advantage that the Luciferians now enjoy and be able to do something about it. Teach your children REAL history not Satanic bankster elite history and you have dealt your own blow to their evil existence. When street lights are installed crime dramatically decreases, this is the same principle that applies here.

On flying saucer technology read up on Tesla's work if you can find any of the original stuff and also get some of the 1950's stuff that was in magazines etc. AIDS, HAARP, GWEN/Cell tower ELF mind manipulation, Ebola, Federal Rothschild Reserve, Freemasonic drones, Bill Schnoebelen, Ted Gunderson, Larouche's PAC book Dope Inc, Eustace Mullins, G.E. Griffin, Michael A. Hoffman, Guelphs/Ghibelines/Black Nobility and many more will also help to fill in the various aspects of the Conspiracy of the Serpent and the modern version we are fighting: The Red Shield. The Bible is the most important description of what we face in the most important aspects: Nimrod/Tammuz/Ishtar and those who are under the Curse of Ham(profit from misfortune like war, drugs, slavery, usury).

The Ritualistic Murder
Of Bill Cooper

William Cooper, better known as Bill Cooper died November 6th, 2001 after being fatally shot by U.S police agents in front of his home in Arizona. If you read some the most popular reports, you will get the first impression that he died the aggressor in a gun battle. -Cover of Apache County Sheriffs’ Report on the Incident
But thinking deeply, passionately, and openly on the situation, you come to the realization that Bill was plotted on for some time and then attacked wisely and murdered by a people who staged his death according to numerology. Before we look at the numbers, let’s hear a few of Bill’s quotes, understand what he believed, who he was, and what was happening around the time of his death.
Did someone or some group plan Bill’s death in advance according to beliefs in the occult sciences?

Milton William Cooper, was, for one a former Intelligence officer in the U.S Air Force(1961-65), and Navy(1965-72?). After leaving the Armed Forces, he went on and…”obtained a degree in photography, served as the Chief Instructor of the Coastal School of Deep Sea Diving, the head of the Mixed Gas Deep Saturation Diving Department and the underwater photography instructor for the College of Oceaneering, Admissions representative for Airco Technical Institute, Assistant Director of Adelphi Business College, Executive Director of Adelphi Business College, National Marketing Coordinator of United Education & Software, Executive Director of Pacific Coast Technical Institute, and Executive Director of National Technical College.”(BAPH)

He was the author of a book which was said to be the most stolen book off bookstore shelves, and the #1 best-selling book of the underground. That book was Behold a Pale Horse, published in 1990. In it he detailed the research and findings over his life in and out of the U.S Armed Forces. As an Intelligence officer, Bill had Clearance to review Top Secret documents, and during his tenure, he came across startling documents. The topics Bill focused on in his book included the “UFO” phenomenon; The Secret Government and what the Secret Societies of today have to do with it; what and who the Illuminati really is and what their plans are for America, and the world; what the U.S Constitution really stands for, and much, much more.
“I cannot and will not accept the theory that long sequences of unrelated accidents determine world events. It is inconceivable that those with power and wealth would not band together with a common bond, a common interest, and a long-range plan to decide and direct the future of the world.” PG 2

In May of 1992, Bill got on the public airwaves to broadcast his radio show, The Hour of The Time. His intro, 5/4/92
"..this show is going to bring you information that is not available to the public, ladies and gentleman, in any form. We will be a force for education for those who really have trouble understanding what's happening in the world, in our Country, in our States, in our cities, and yes, even in our families."
Bill started off his teaching mission with knowledge concerning the Founding of the United States of America. He stressed the importance of knowing and understanding what the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution said and meant. He soon began series on exposing the government of their corruption, and deception on the American people. From covering the events of Waco, Texas and OKC, to accusing and proving the Treason committed by most politicians against the United States in the name of the U.N, from exposing the Beliefs and Dogmas of the people who control the world-Mystery Babylon, to blowing the lid off the so called UFO Phenomenon and aliens, from warning us about Freemasonry to explaining to us the real teachings of Jesus Christ, from warning us about an impending economic collapse and using gold and silver coins to protect our families when there is no more dollar value, to the truth about vaccines and fluoride, from the truth about the Militia to the truth about chem-trails. William Cooper stood for Freedom. He stood against Socialism and declared to the world that there is a plan for a “One World Totalitarian Socialist State”, in which all sovereignty in the U.S will be erased, the Constitution will be officially replaced, there will be only one religion allowed, a good amount of the population will be wiped out and the rest will live as slaves, or die martyrs of the Luciferian plan of World Government.

On June 28th 2001, CNN claimed their reporters had got into wanted terrorist, Osama bin Laden’s hideout and conducted an interview with him. Bill claimed it was all a hoax. How is that, with the most advanced Intelligence services in the world, you cannot find a single man? ..but a CNN reporter gets into his hideout and safely conducts an interview with the man?
“Whatever is gonna happen that they’re gonna blame Osama bin Laden for, don’t you believe it.”
September 11, 2001 the Twin Towers in Manhattan, NY were hit by planes early in the morning. Right away, Bill skipped his usual late night routine, and thanks to his sponsors, went on Broadcasting for about 10 HRS straight the truth and nothing but it, about what was occurring in front of us all. What Bill had predicted surely came to pass.
After midnight on the 6th of November, the authorities of Arizona and other government agents lured Mr. Cooper outside of his home. They pretended to be kids playing loud music in their car. So as Bill wandered outside to warn the “kids”, agents prepared to attack. He drove his vehicle over. After threatening the “kids” that he would call the police unless they left, Bill drove away. He suspected something was up and started to head home. An officer ordered him to stop, as he sped off pushing the officer with his arm, to the ground. As Bill neared his home, he got out of his truck and pursued the door. It is claimed that Bill was shooting behind him, and hit one man. Gun fire erupted as there were agents in all directions. Bill almost made it home. He was shot numerous times. According the the autopsy report, after he was officially dead, an agent shot him point blank range, execution style.
W.C died the Director of Intelligence for the Second Continental Army of the Republic, which he called for. He survived 2 Daughters, a Wife, and many good friends. He died for me and you.
The Occult Significance
Bill’s HOTT was first aired in May of 1992. He went on to completely expose the Illuminati, their plans and their beliefs, especially that Lucifer is their secret God. With all the power that these people hold on earth, they did not successfully take Bill off the air. Until November, 2001 that is, when he shot numerous times. Bill hosted the HOTT for 9 years and 6 months. He died on the 6th day of November. The origin of November is the Latin word of the same spelling. Its definition is, the Ninth month in the Roman calendar. So, the origin of the word November is 9. According to Occult philosophies, what is above, is also below. The number 9 to the occultist deceivers means 6.

FOR NINE(6) YEARS SIX(6) MONTHS THE HOUR OF THE TIME SURVIVED WITH BILL AS HOST
ON THE SIXTH(6) DAY OF THE NINTH(6) MONTH OF THE YEAR 2001 BILL’S MURDER WAS BROUGHT ABOUT BY CAREFUL PLAN HE WAS SHOT 9(6) TIMES THE LAST SHOT WAS POINT BLANK RANGE TO THE FOREHEAD EXECUTION STYLE

the media has manipulated William Coopers image to make him appear as unsteady and insane. I read this book in 2002, and it shook me to the core. This book is what caused me to start looking at things very differently and caused me a few panic attacks in the mix. I would highly recommend this book to everyone. It is a riveting read from start to finish. It will open your eyes and mind to the reality of this world and the danger of the government and it;'s desire to control and mold the people. William Cooper has several videos on youtube, and please note that Mr. Cooper, although at times a raging drunk, told the truth and for that, he was killed by the federal agents in 2001. PLEASE READ THIS BOOK!

So not what i was expecting.
I purchased this book based on the stories of the author being killed before it was published, expecting a book of intrigue and information to think about.
its not much more then speculation, with more doctored "official documents" than actual words written.
Area 51, mostly why i wished to read the book only deigned to have a handful of pages with poor documents to uphold his writing.
Most of the book is about a new world order, however, not much of it makes any sense.
If you have an inquisitive mind and are rationally intelligent, avoid this pile of trash.
the "scanned documents" just don't hold much to be of any interest, and that's putting common sense aside and actually believing what your reading.
Terrible. Waste of money.

The author of this book, William Cooper, is so outraged at the subversion of the US governmment that he gets a little rough, approaching the boundaries of extremism.

The more valuable treasure to be mined from this study is the information on the secret societies. I doubt not a word of it and he is right on the money with his assertion that the CFR runs the US government.

If you can read this book and focus only on the chapters dealing with the secret societies, the population control techniques, the continuity of government plans in the Reagan administration, George H.W. Bush, and the mindless masses, you will have recieved your money's worth.

Stay away from the UFO chapters. They are obviously misinformation that Cooper inadvertantly picked up in his source documents, meant to discredit anyone who lifts the secret docs. (The reason why we discount the UFO stories is simply because, unlike the above topics, there just isn't enough corroborating evidence friendly to common sense.)

All of us should be outraged at this subversion of our democracy. Your best recourse is to get informed. Read other books about the secret/invisible government, CFR, and related elitist-type books. You may even find that 9/11 had nothing to do with...Arabs...

I'm always looking for truthfulness. And, I never believed in UFO's. Before 2012, I would have thought if one thing in this book wasn't true I would doubt the rest! But, last May 2012, I saw my first UFO. It wasn't a blip, light, ect. It was the same one they saw in 1997 in Phoenix! It was shaped as a true V with 2 lights down each "arm" and one at the top of the v. It was trying to camouflaged itself but it was such a clear nite that I could make out the shape. It flew right over my house and I wondered as I watched it for about 15 minutes as it went by, how could it just fly like this over a populated area and the airforce (6 miles away), LAX (8 miles away) not see this or know about this?? with all their radar, ect. I guess that's when I swallowed the proverbial "red" pill. Now, I look upon this book that I'm just now reading, and I think that if one thing I know is true, unfortunately, the whole must be true. Isn't that called Oczam's Razor theory? God help us if it is true.

I have to say this book is a most interesting read. William Cooper could be considered a conspiracy theorist's theorist. It won't be long before you realize that everything is connected to a "Secret Order" of the highest echelon of power. Cooper goes into to everything from Aliens to Zion and lays out a connection to all major events in history. The only thing that doesn't make an appearance in this book is Elvis. Cooper's story is over the top to which I don't know that I have ever read anything else this fantastic, as in out there.

I think that Mr. Cooper had a genuine fear for his life in having this published. He goes into a lot heavy stuff about some very powerful groups and individuals that would have you dead if you knew the truth about them. Pale Horse is a conspiracy's conspiracy book that touches on the biggest "Cabal" in history.

You may find some, all, or none of Behold A Pale Horse believable, but read the book and see for yourself.

Although most folks thought this was an informative read, I was somewhat disturbed by the negative ones and the assassinations of Mr Cooper's character that were invariably woven in to them.

Which of you "nobody's" always lives every moment of his life in the image of his highest ideals (if indeed you have any at all)? So what if he got into a bar fight here and there? Most of us have done as bad or worse. We all have moments we are not proud of. Did you know that Thomas Edison and Henry Ford, people we were taught in school were great men, were fairly ruthless cutthroats? I don't see anyone criticizing them.

Also, you and your ilk are still alive to criticize...Mr Cooper gave his life.

Bear in mind that the book is twenty years old and some things have come on the scene that would tend to modify some of the views of the reality he espoused. But the meat of the book is still valid and can't be denied. There IS a conspiracy by a global elite to rule the world and enslave the rest of us.

Cooper's heir apparent is Austin Texas based Alex Jones. He's a lot less pessimistic than Cooper, and I admire him for his guts and enthusiasm. Sadly, I have to agree with Mr Cooper's words of twenty years ago. "Nothing less than a civil war can alter the course we are already on".

Of course, you can double check with the original conspiracy theory tome...The Bible.

A masterpiece, but an unintentional one. William Cooper pushes the envelope for EXTREME conspiracy theories. In fact, he stretches it so far that it ruptures. Aliens, the Vatican, Freemasons, the UN, the CIA, the Trilateral Commission, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Skull and Bones Society, JFK's assassination and every other conspiracy theory you've ever heard of rolled up into one tortuously tidy ball. To believe this, you have to believe that everybody in the world except you, your immediate friends and family, and William Cooper is in on the New World Order. Of course, your friends or even your spouse might be one of THEM. Some high points: the tie-in between UFOs and the October Surprise (the Tehran rescue mission helicopters were shot down by an alien beam weapon); the Protocols of the Wise Men of Zion with a non-anti-Semitic twist to them (just change "Zion" to "Sion", "Jew" to "Illuminati", and "goyim" to "cattle"); and, best of all, the blueprint for world domination by the Illuminati, "found on July 7, 1986, in an IBM copier that had been purchased at a surplus sale." In all a must read for even the most jaded conspiracy watcher. Of course, because I'm publicly skeptical of this, I must be a CIA operative, like everybody else who disagrees with Cooper. Thus, the anonimity

If you think my statement above is melodramatic--think again. "Behold a Pale Horse" is a masterpiece of complete and utter FOUNDED paranoia. Bill Cooper chronicles his career in the armed forces all the way to government leak status. Be warned this book is like Pandora's Box; once it is opened, you will never know what to expect again. It will change how you look at everything; from aliens to freemasonry. Take everything you know about conspiracies and toss them out the window; because this bundle of joy is the MOTHERLOAD!!! People have disputed the accuracy of some of these stories and musings; thats fine and is to be expected. But just think what does Cooper really have to gain by saying all this stuff? He doesn't care what his peers think. He doesn't care about opposing forces.(you'll know what I'm referring to when you read the book) And even in Bill's own words " If even ten percent of what I'm saying is true; we're all in trouble." I urge every American to read this book and decide for yourself how to go about living with this earth shattering knowledge. It truly is on the top ten list of NON-FICTION books I have ever read. Once again I want to state that whats in this book will scare the living hell out of anyone with a concious, love for life and humanity. It's sickening what is being laid out for this country and the world.(without spoiling anything) This is should be placed next to the BIBLE, history books, and your hearts!!! Have fun living in mainstream society while you can; because after you read this book you will be ripped out of it, and thrown into a distant world of EXTREME evilness, where everything you know is wrong.

Amazing book.
Though there is more to the recipe of all the bad things that are at play...there is alot of information in this book the more you do your research.
On the people who rated this book bad , that say they are no fans of conspiracy nuts .. Doesnt mean its not true .
They say the Government would do no such thing . that it would achieve nothing good for them.

What about when they lets African Americans die of Syphilis when the treatment was available

Allowing known criminals to buy guns between 2009-2011.
injecting people with Plutonium .
Exposing poor cancer patients to large doses of radiation.
Completing chemical expirements with mustard gas on sailors.
Recruiting Nazis to live in America after WWII
Adding poison to alcohal killing 10,000 Americans.

Behold A Pale Horse will take you on an interesting (but bizarre), modern paradigm, which is loosely based on the Biblical Book Of Revelations. Apocalyptic in its visions, Behold investigates what may be the "intelligence" substrata of The X-Files, the movie Close Encounters and The JFK Conspiracy. Although Cooper's work is rumored to have been heavily borrowed from the "intelligence" materials of others, it is a must read for those interested in doing their own research into Globalism and the subject of back-engineered UFO (antigravity discs) technology, that has supposedly taken place at S-4. This is one of those books riddled with the types of "disinformation" that challenge the spirited reader/researcher into finding out for himself the truths or half-truths presented in Behold A Pale Horse. Hopefully the reader will "go out and study" so he can separate the "wheat from the chaff." If you are interested in the subject of UFOs, this book is a must read! Only after reading it can a UFO enthusiast or skeptic more clearly focus his opinions.

folks.... read coopers tome when it first came out. as a conspiracy buff in my own rite, it validated and enhanced every paranoid fantasy i ever had and added a few more. there can only be three scenarios concerning the way things are on this planet...... either nobody has a clue and the fundementalists are correct that satan runs it all... OR.... things are just the way they seem and it has only been 10,000 years of misguided struggle to get us to this point of global collapse or global transformation; depending on your point-of-view...... OR .... there has always been a "cadre" of individuals who meet on rare occasions to determine who will starve and prosper, who will have peace and who will have war, where the wealth will go and what the standards of wealth will be, etc. you can throw in the ufo aliens' influence, the illuminati or the hashishans of the old man on the mountain if you must, but all this has to be taken with a pound of salt. i don't know. but it seems the golden rule is well in effect. them with the gold, makes the rules. anybody else?

... William Cooper did not act or write like "a gentleman and a scholar." He wrote from the heart, out of a deep and abiding conviction to expose and share what HE believed to be true facts with his fellow Americans. He loved FREEDOM! ... Nevertheless, whether you agree with his sentiments and statements or not, one has to admit that he put his money where his mouth was, held firmly to his cherished beliefs, and rode his horse to glory all the way through to the end. ... He wrote with passion and soul. ... He remained true to his vision. ... He had Indian blood!
... The book he wrote - whether you believe what it says to be true or not - has touched hundreds of thousands of lives around the world. This man has got a lot of people THINKING. Many others have TAKEN from him as their primary source when it was HE who exposed all of this stuff FIRST before a lot of other people ever even HEARD of any of this stuff. ... William Cooper is now dead. ... I find it to be EXTREMELY ironic and coincidental that he would die in the way he did at THIS time. ... We all have a lot to thank him for, if for no other reason than that he loved his country and served it with a brave heart. ...
... The following is taken directly from is website. ...
"With a deep sense of loss and mourning we announce the passing of William Cooper. We would like to thank all of you who attended the memorial services or have sent your sympathies and prayers during this difficult time. They have given us great comfort. It appears at this time to be totally unrelated to the disputes he had with the federal government. All we know at this time is that he was shot and killed by an Apache County Sheriff around 12:15 AM Tuesday November 6th, 2001 while serving of an arrest warrant on a local issue. After reading hours of reviews, I can only say "B*** S***". Half these reviews are products of the C.I.A.(now the N.R.A., national resource agency which is the domestic tasked arm of cia). Furthermore anyone looking for the cheif disinformation officer in UFOLOGY need look no further than Secret Agent Stanton freedman. Stanton and others such as Bruce Macabee are exposed in Bill's Book and now frequently appear on televised UFO SHOWS as socalled experts. To Bill Coopers dismay, towards the end of his life(before he was murdered by corrupt "law enforcement" agents) he professed that the truth was that UFO's are merely unidentified technology financed by the black monarchy (secret government), and as long as you look to the skys for answers-you are neglecting to preserve and protect your CONSTITUTION & BILL OF RIGHTS (documents which without you will have no america or freedom). Some dorks pretend to have known Bill Cooper and talk of him as "uniform changer", etc. Bill was a gental man, and because he started professing that he was fed disinformation, and the ALIEN part of his theory was part of a grand sceme of relieving Americans and the USA of her Constitution and Bill of Rights, he is dead. Bills book is one of the most important books ever written for students of conspiricy and secret societies. As Bill himself warns in "Behold a pale horse", the evidence is strong that he was fed ALIEN disinformation since he was labled a whistle blower when debriefed after a UFO siting while on duty on a sea vessel during duty tour. There is an extrordinary amount of information in this book that will be diturbing to the faint of heart. If you think that the people(preditors) that are in control of your government and your money are looking out for you then you just might want to pass on this book, it isn't a warm and fuzzy happy ending expierence. This book is a consiricy whistle blower for all!

I own this book and the reading misses huge chunks of references. It also misses his early life.

I like Audible and use it often, that said this was a let down.

I recommend that anyone who is interested in Bill Coopers work, I suggest you get a hard copy.

Thanks, Ian Ward.

This is an extremely entertaining book. Unfortunately, it would never have been published as fiction because the conclusions are 'out of this world'. I did not find this book frightening at all. The New World Order that Mr. Cooper rants against seems to me quite sensible in their proposed goals, although I am far from convinced that there is such a thing because the author does not offer any credible proof. Their goals are: world peace, preservation of the environment, population control, reduction or abolition of crime, elimination of currency, colonization of space, and a shift in the evolutionary consciousness that would rid us of the need for governments. I cannot for the life of me understand why this should frighten anyone. The book is worth reading, primarily because it will give your mind a workout. I found over a dozen instances where the author contradicts himself. Enjoy!!! btw....not that I'll be believed but I am not a CIA agent!!! lol

I first bought this book without having any idea of what it was about, but I just intuitively knew (after flipping through it's chapters) that there was at least SOME truth to be found in it. I knew that this was new territory for me, and was excited to be finally learning something brand new and relevant. By the time I had read the Introduction, Foreward, and Chapter 1 (Silent Weapons For Quiet Wars), my old belief system about politics was shattered. Thankfully beginning to be shattered rather. At that point I tried moving into Chapter 2 (Secret Societies and the New World Order) but it seemed to be in a language I just couldn't possibly grasp. So in that sense I might recommend that the novices and uninitiates among you read up to the end of chapter 1, and then head into some other books along the same lines but with more of an introductory quality. I'd recommend the following sequence of books to be read inbetween chapter 1 and chapter 2 of Behold a Pale Horse:

Confessions of an Economic Hitman by John Perkins
Lucifer Dethroned by William and Sharon Schnoebelen
Secret Societies and Psychological Warfare by Michael Hoffman
Rule By Secrecy by Jim Marrs
Mind Control, World Control by Jim Keith
Programmed to Kill by David McGowan
The Carnivals of Life and Death by James Shelby Downard
The End of America by Naomi Wolf

So that's what I personally have done, I've read all of those titles and have seen most of Alex Jone's movies (Endgame, Terrorstorm, etc.), Dr. Deagle's 5-hour lecture, Lindsey William's Energy Non-Crisis Lecture, the movie "Esoteric Agenda", etc.(I've found the list just goes on and on, heh)etc. Anyway, after becoming very fluid in the twilight language of the Illuminati, and all the buzzwords, I feel much more informed and human actually. Stil now I find myself returning to this book, Behold A Pale Horse, over and over again. Not only did it "have some truth in there", I haven't hardly found one thing I can prove to be false. I'm absolutely stunned that Bill was warning Americans about FEMA camps and Rex-84 (which is the talk all acrost the country now of course) way back in 1991! William Cooper is obviously way ahead of his time with this one, and perhaps more credible a resource than any whistleblower's name known to me. And as another reviewer said, the fact that he was martyred for the cause, along with Phil Schneider, Malachi Martin, Arnold Ehret, etc. ad infinitum, only adds credibility that he really was indeed a patriotic whistleblower with inside information he felt he could no longer hide from public view.
One last note: Recent studies have shown that Americans are in fact the dumbest people on the planet, I know that bothers a lot of you, but we must look Truth in the face no matter what time it knocks on our doors. Indeed, the test scores prove it. Another study has shown that 20% of Americans cannot even find the USA on a world map, those 20% of Americans are the people Rush Limbaugh "speaks" to. According to the "bell curve", the other 60% or so are just going about the dizzying break-neck pace of their lives working 50+hour weeks, and therefore have very little time for introspection or musings on who the puppetmasters are behind the scenes, and what their plans might really be for humanity. So those people are unfortunately lost in the comfy and temping-to-buy-into-illusion of thinking that there's some kind of football game being played by the "right and left". The other 20% or so are the type to realize that William Cooper is telling the truth, and I think you will find that these will be the people in life who have cultivated their minds AND (perhaps more importantly) their hearts. The people in life who are: a) living Spiritual lives, AND, b) knowledgable about the NWO and/or the pedophocratic corporatocracy, I state that these are the people who are closest to the genuine Truth in Life, in It's Essence. "Where JUSTICE is, there I AM". One cannot be very spiritual if they don't at least grasp the powers that be, please know the enemy so that you can better guard against It. Bill, rest in peace my friend. Also, May the Creator of All-That-Is Bless You All.

To start off with i must say, i have alot of respect for this book. For the simple fact, that even though this man is a christian, he relies not on christian beleifs to justify or to confirm what he is saying to be the truth. But instead puts forward his evidence as one person to another, as someone who has found or discovered the source of wars, drugs, crime, the manifestation of prophecy, and the coming of a new world order that will make every country in the world, part of a federation. This book is definetly a wake up call. Even for those of us that are quite awake, whether you are a believer in humanity threatening conspiricies or not, this book will at least give access to how things really work. If knowledge was money this book would make you very rich. And this book is alot more relevant to the European union of countries than it looks!. ITS JUST TOO REAL, TO BE JUST FICTION.

Interested in conspiracy theories? This book has them all. It's not an easy read, but once you get used to the writers style it becomes easy to go through. There are copies of documents in this book that are questionable, even though they look legitimate. I find it hard to believe that a document is left on an old copier that was purchased at surplus. I also find it hard to believe the account of one man. It is your choice whether to believe what William Cooper has to say. I would say that perhaps there is some truth in what he says, because for one, I think I believe William Cooper, before I would believe the government. This book has it all, UFOs, Black Ops, Cover-ups, and government threats. It's almost overwhelming the amount of information provided in this book, but I doubt there is another book out there, that could be so detailed about specific accounts of events. It's a shame that William Cooper's life ended the way it did. Shot by a Sheriff's Deputy. Coincidence? If you have a passion for ideas that are labeled conspiracy theories, then this book is full of them.

Haven't read this book yet (on order) but a year of research for a movie script on the Roswell crash certainly had Mr Cooper's name popping up with alarming regularity. I find it utterly laughable that one reviewer, as many people who fear the truth believe, lauds all of the information in the book "except for the UFO stuff." How silly is it to embrace the writings of Mr Cooper, a man who clearly has been there, seen and done that yet because of your own current world view feel the information on extraterrestrial life is fabricated?
I hardly think so; we are not now nor have we ever been alone on this planet, in this solar system, or in the Cosmos.
Many religious people view the idea of intelligent life off the planet Earth a blasphemy towards God. I beg to differ, I say it is YOU who feels this way who blaspheme against God. It is YOU who limit God to a single sentient species (humans) in all of the vastness we gaze upon in the night sky, it is YOU who mock God by thinking Him/It limited. The God I pray to is LIMITLESS, and so are the number of sentient life forms He/It created when the universe was formed. The worlds leaders, banking, energy, food, medicines and yes, even religion, all profit from their positions of power and wealth, this truth becoming known and popular among us Earthlings would shatter the illusion of human superiority and especially shatter their positions of power. They are only worried about their loss of revenue when free energy and other wild inventions become known.
"The Truth Is Out There!" "THEY LIVE!"
Behold a Pal Hose is a must read for anyone who want to wake up, who wants to take the Red Pill. :-) <3

A sheriff was also wounded. ... Remain Calm! This is in no way a cause for action. Do NOT listen to or spread undocumented and unconfirmed RUMORS! If it is not here it is not confirmed as fact. Updates will be posted here as they become available. We MUST all remember his love of freedom, America, the Constitution and the values it is founded on.
... Thank you for your support."
... May his soul rest in peace. - The Aeolian Kid

William Cooper was a phony and a liar. I started to realise that statements he was writing was not true when I begin researching on the internet. I listened to a Radio MP3 recording he had done. He was a very rude host to his listeners who called in to speak with him. (I would have hung-up on him). Wasted money spent on his book of non-factual BS.
(By the way the only reason he even got a "one star" rating from me was because I had to choose at least one to get to this site.)

I've known Bill Cooper for 10 years, his books, his videos and at his conferences. Being an ex-special forces combat veteran, Army, who has seen too much, he tells you the truth. It was his books and conferences that 'snapped me out" of my self-centered duldrums and helped me into political and survival action, once again, that I might help my family and others prepare for what is coming in the next 2-4 years. Not to mention myself. Cooper was crying out the alarm concerning the evil of the New World Order and their plans years before anyone else. It was he who inspired my associates and myself to "rejoin the fray", and do what is necessary to prepare for the future. Great Book! A Must Read! But, where are you now, Bill??

It is difficult to wrap it around my head the truth revealed about government takeover. The things Bill exposes we know are becoming a reality. It all makes sense in these last days. It has made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Knowing government has cover UPS and threatens the lives of those who will expose the truth. Bill was clearly very courageous and brave. His dedication to expose the truth most likely cost him his life. I am grateful he was passionate enough to write this book and enlighten others to the truth and bring awareness to "one world order" government has been working on for a long time. My pulse races just thinking about what he has written. A must read.

Well. Where do I begin? Okay, the introduction. I really appreciated the fact that William Cooper put his own story in the beginning. This sets up the reader for the remainder of the shocking story. It is not his Mystery Babylon series by any stretch of the imagination, but it was good to see a personal touch, nevertheless.

I remember perusing the Purple 700's conspiracy section of Powell's bookstore [...] (a former favorite spot of mine - I moved out of the Portland, OR area -sniff). I saw the strange cover and thought, "What is this?"

I picked up the book and casually glanced at some of the pages quoted with "**** TOP SECRET ****" and thought, oh just another fly by night writer, trying to get his books sold or a disinformation specialist. I saw some things I recognized, and said okay, I agree. I then saw some of the UFO info, and thought "He is a wacko!" I put the book down, and continued on. Every time I went back I saw the book. Then I looked online about William Cooper. I found his nearly 5 hour lecture he did in Atlanta, and watched it. This intrigued me to get the book. Well, I will never look at William Cooper the same again.

William Cooper. A man that stood alone. Called by Bill Clinton "The most dangerous radio host in America today." Now I know why. He spoke truth all the time, and when he was speculating, he let you know. He documented everything he said, and drew conclusions that were what those authors said. He was the true American Patriot. Standing for freedom, and Liberty. The American Way!

The book is a collection of these documents from various sources, the first of which blew my mind away. I had never heard of "Silent Weapons For Quiet Wars" before. This was a real treat for me. This was claimed to be found on a copy machine that was at a yard sale, and thus distributed to the masses.

Also, William documents something I had heard of, called "The Protocols Of The Elders Of Zion," but I never read what they wrote. William correctly informs his readers how to interpret that essay. Shocking.

You cannot read this book with a closed mind. An open mind is essential to the understanding this book gives. Those that disagree with a little bit, it is my estimation that they will ultimately discount it all. Some may say a good read, but they are not weighing the entire message of what William is saying. For those that truly understand what William is saying with this book, it is essential to have that documentation. He spent years trying to get this book published. He finally did. It is truly a classic.

If you are not schooled in the mind controlled media, government corruption, and eventual police state, destroyed economic America, this book is a great introduction.

Essential for every open minded person! The truth cannot be hidden. Truth is owned by God.

I first read this in 1992 and did not believe a word that was written. I was, at the time, a very bleeding heart liberal! This couldn't be right, hrmph!, that would mean - gasp! - the Government entities weren't telling me the truth! Needless to say, I and my, then newlywed, wife researched what we could...to find that it was exactly as Mr. Cooper had described it. There are some very controversial facts described herein that I was not able to verify. However, I did verify approxiametly 80 to 85% of his documentation and found it to be right on. For those that discredit this book...grow your own brain! Do your own research instead of eating the re-digested junk the mainstream media feeds you! I can only hope he cares enough to write another...

Had to put this one down until my husband the engineer could explain to me the abstract concepts in the first few chapters. I've listened to some of his old broadcasts and found the topics he discussed less abstruse than what was in the first part of this book. It's not a far reach to say that smarter people who don't need a science geek for an interpreter will enjoy this book. However, for those of us "right-brain" folks, a little patience is required to bridge the science deficit and come up to speed with Cooper.

I would not choose this for bedtime reading as it is serious information. Unfortunately much of the info is documented by him alone and it's hard to pinpoint if there are errors or misconceptions. However, if only half was confirmed it does not bode well for the USA. This should be required reading for those who think they know who is running this country.

The book lost me in the first chapter. The author seriously believed the powers-that-be were making every man a "p**sy-whipped" individual, every woman to have a buy me everything attitude, and "junior" ready to be sent to war to make their parents look good in the eyes of society. It read like something straight from the 1950's. After that I couldn't take him serious, seemed too far right paranoia to me. To each their own.

William Coopers book Behold a Pale Horse reveals the well kept secrets of the world through CINPACFLT's intellengence files. This book is a must read for those wanting to know what is going on in their world as we speak.

I read and found this book to offer insight into motives and directions of represenatives and bureaucracies not reported in the mainstream press. It most closley articulates for me what has previously been an inclination and inkling. There is a tremendous degree of dis-information and spin created by federal agencies and bureaucrats and faithfully regurgitated by the press. The communist dictum reads that he who controls the press controls public opinion. I have considered the majority of the American press as nothing more than a "US TASS NEWS AGENCY". Couple this with the increasing federalization of crimes and the militarization of state and local police agencies all in the name of the "War on Drugs" and the motives alluded to in PALE HORSE lift from the background and come into focus. Thank you William Cooper

I found the book very revealing. Input from media sources are skewed by their agenda to shape our perception of reality. Cooper reveals information withheld by government and the complicit media that allows one to get a better picture of what our world is really like. I know there is a lot that goes on in this country that is hidden from the public. The author brings some of it to light, although a lot of the information is dated. I wonder what has been withheld since this book has been written.

My introduction to "conspiracy theory" consisted of watching a video of one of Cooper's lectures - complete with A/V material that the book lacks. I found it intriguing. Years later, someone described this book; I realized it was the same Cooper, and read it. I became even more interested.

Ultimately, it was a great introduction to the subject matter, because Cooper covers a wide array of theories, and works hard to connect them. However, now that I have researched these topics a bit further, I look back at Cooper as fundamentally unscholarly. His writing leaves a lot to be desired as far as readability, grammer, focus, and technique. He rambles tangentially and fails to make truly compelling arguments. He presents a lot of "evidence", but does not properly authenticate the evidence - or correlate it into a well structured thesis.

There are better books on the subject - mostly focusing on more narrow aspects of it. That means much more reading, though. (e.g. Stevenson or Robinson on Freemasonry; Baigent/Lincoln/Leigh: "Holy Blood/Grail"; John Coleman books; Springmeier: "Blood Lines of the Illuminati").

I have also found books analyzing the conspiracy theory movement - rather than the theories. Without necessarily focusing on the truth or fiction of the theories, they suggest that conspiracy theory has become popular in postwar America as a result of a general feeling of being "left out" of the political process. That correlates to low voter turnout, political apathy, and many other characteristics of modern day American (and perhaps global) politics. (e.g. Camp: "Selling Fear ..."; Pipes: "Conspiracy: How the Paranoid Style Flourishes ...")

I recommend this book as an introduction to the subject matter (it worked for me!) but with an important caveat: it's unscholarly nature tends to discredit the very theses it puts forth. Let it intrigue you in an entertaining pop culture fashion. Then move on to more scholarly works. It is a truly fascinating topic regardless of where you personally choose to draw the line between truth and fiction.

For those who are more experienced with the subject matter, I do NOT recommend the book - unless you merely want to become familar with yet another (popular) exploration of theories you are probably already aware of.

Simply one of the strangest dark volumes I've attempted to read. Starts off rational enough and then goes "down the rabbit hole" and never looks back. A waste of brain energy to try and follow the trail of conspiracy that it tries to convey. After 2 days sent the book back. I enjoy a conspiracy (legitimate) as much as anyone but this one is plain "out yonder somewhere", simply impossible to engage with the book. First book I've ever returned....

This is a great book. Whether or not any of it is true, it's an incredibly entertaining read, which you could almost recommend to conspiracy fan or sci-fi non-fiction fan alike (at least one who is prepared to tolerate that the book doesn't actually read like a proper novel). I've read this repeatedly over the last 10 years or so and it never fails to entertain. This could be the source for a hundred brilliant sci-fi conspiracy novels.

The strong adherence to the Christian faith at times sticks out a little awkwardly (which in a conspiracy book is no mean feat) and is somewhat disappointing to have to be repeatedly beaten over the head with, but then given the title I suppose you can't be too critical of it for that point, because you had to see some of it coming.

Then, along the same lines, it also includes the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, which has been shown to be a forgery for something like 80 years if I remember correctly. Which would normally be followed by a sentence along the lines of "makes it lose some credibility", but then we are talking about a huge conspiracy book here, it's not exactly a fine line between 'crackpot theories' and having any sort of credibility, I suppose.

A hugely interesting and entertaining read nonetheless.

If you want a book with lots of documentation on the new world order, then this is your book. Cooper doesn't always tell us where he got his information however this book is filled with photocopied government documents. If he faked them, then he sure went to a lot of trouble. Of course we will never know since he was shot last year by county sheriff deputies in a western style shoot-out. He always said he wanted to go down in a blaze of glory, I guess he did.

I borrowed this book and am not quite finished yet. Having been raised on military bases all over the world, I can verify the truth of his writings so far. Indeed, there were many "strange", unexplained, surreal things that happened frequently during and a few years after WW2. He doesn't even tell it all. I agree with him, and am familiar (due to my own experiences and personal knowledge), about the Illuminati, the strageties & diversions that are used on the masses, and just about everything he says to the point of my reading. It is odd that he was recently killed, but does not surprise me at all. As he said, only a select few that are privvy to certain well-hidden information, can understand even the gist of his experiences...

This book is crammed with information. Some is credible, some is not. It is a decent read for the discerning critical thinker. One thing that makes it abnormally interesting is the fact that the author was indeed killed by the government. Something that takes away from this book in my mind is the slew of reproduced documentations on Aliens and UFOs in the back. One thing that I really appreciated about this book was Mr. Cooper's tracking of secret societal influence upon the world power structure, etc. Mr. Cooper puts information out there. He leaves it up to the reader to use his/her own critical thinking abilities to come to opinions.

Just past the forward in the book - the author begins by stating, he read Top Secret documents which explained that "Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars" was a doctrine adopted the Policy Committee of the Bilderberg Group (of which he isn’t a member, I point out) in 1954 and goes on to state a "copy" was found in 1969 in the possession of Naval Intelligence, (no indication of who found it, no footnote, no Xerox shown, no reference, just a "copy" found - not even an "I saw it with my own eyes")

The very next paragraph states: “The following document, dated May 1979, was found on July 7, 1986, in an IBM copier that had been purchased at a surplus sale.” (ditto things still missing above, ie..proof)

And so begins the saga of Chapter 1 – behold a pale horse’s "Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars" – YMMV, but my level of critical thinking alarm bell has maxed out and anyone with half a brain knows you should always begin a book with something documented, (seems TM-SW7905.1 is and apparently always was a non-existent illusion of a person with a vivid imagination or a deranged mind and I'm not so sure I want to know which, odd to that there’s no day “date” given on the document itself).

….stick a fork in me, I’m done with this book……, wheat from the chaff folks, care to venture a guess as to which this is?

If you are disgusted with reading (Left/Right) Gatekeeper propaganda then William Cooper is for you. Cooper accomplishes what most news analyst such as Chris Mathews, and Anne Coulter won't do, and that's naming names. In his book he elaborates on whose orchestrating the "New World Order."
We as Americans need to educate ourselves about this detrimental topic and Cooper gives us a great foundation to start our research.
And be prepared because you'll quickly discover that "History is the lie that they teach you in school." (Vernon Reid Living Colour)

And if you are distraught over the government's prevarications then get ready to swallow the red pill because what most Americans don't ascertain is that law H.R.4079 and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) are designed to marshal in the police state. Which if you haven't already guessed, means Martial Law.
Under H.R.4079 the Federal Government has the right to suspend the U.S. Constitution.
Moreover, Cooper brings to light that many of our elected officials are members of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), the Trilateral Commission (TC), the Bilderberg Group (BG), and many other secret societies hell bent on global hegemony.
Cooper straightforwardly articulates that we are losing our country, our autonomy, and our lives.

This book also dissects the Illuminati subject in a coherent fashion. Cooper discusses how these secret societies BG, TC, CFR, and the Jason Society are really different denominations of the Illuminati.
So, if you don't become an expert on the "New World Order and how it works" after reading this then you have no business complaining about the isentropic issues that concern us today.
The Illuminati exist, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Our lives are depending on our perception of reality. What we think is real is really the fantasy the global elite conjured up, which equals Problem, Reaction, Solution!
We are being spoon-fed prevarication that Congress actually writes the laws in this country, but the reality is secret societies set the agenda behind closed doors. Plus, Congress no longer has the power to declare war! Surprised!!! You should be! At 3:30am Saturday, August 4,1990, the Senate passed the Senate Intelligence Authorization Act (S.B.2834). This bill transferred most governmental authority over to the President, which means, "The President was given the power to initiate war, appropriate public funds, define foreign policy goals, and decide what is important to our national security." So, in a nutshell, the President can declare war with any nation at anytime (with or without just cause)! And enact domestic policy as he or she deems fit.
Just take a glimpse at the Iraq situation? George W. Bush started the full scale Iraqi invasion in September 2002, which was one month before Congress voted on the measure and six month before the official invasion on March 20, 2003 (Operation Shock and Awe). So the President declared War without Congressional consent and they (Congress, the Supreme Court and the media) knew it was legal for him to do so, and they feigned otherwise, misleading the American people.

"Behold a Pale Horse" is a 500-page diatribe of information that no one should be without. Whether you agree or disagree with the info in this book isn't the point. The crux is do we have the right to be circumspect, or more accurately, paranoid over our civil liberties being eviscerated before our very eyes? I think we do.

The controversial subject of Area 51 and extraterrestrials is also discussed in this five star book of info. We have to ponder on the fact that our government hides information from us everyday. I personally don't believe in little bug-eyed gray men from planet Neutron 5, but what I do believe is that our government is running clandestine experiments in Area 51 that they don't want discovered. And we as a free society should have the right to inquire as to why they (the government) would deem this irrational behavior acceptable?

Also, Cooper discusses the Freemasons' role in the "New World Order." So for all you Freemason conspiracy buffs this is essential reading.
Oh and one more thing, for all the Freemason researchers out there who want to find out how Hiram Abif died, here's how, "Hiram Abif represents intelligence, liberty and truth, and was struck down by a blow to the neck with a rule, representing the suppression of speech by the church; then he was struck in the heart with the square, representing the suppression of belief by the State; and finally he was struck on the head by a maul, representing the suppression of intellect by the masses." I fail to construe why the Masons think keeping the secret of Hiram's death is so important. There ideology seems rather gauche in the end.

Anyway, I strongly recommend this book to anyone who is an Alex Jones listener, or is familiar with Anthony J. Hilder, Jordan Maxwell, Jim Marrs, or anyone who wants to truly understand how the world's smoke and mirrors methodology really works.

After reading this book I perfectly understand why Milton William Cooper was killed 2 months after 9/11.
Cooper is a hero that should be honored and respected!

Cooper is dead on. He knows what he is talking about. Behold Thanksgiving this year!!!! BEWARE!!! Cooper warns us and tries to tell us but many still don't believe..if what he says in this book isn't true then why does the gov. secretly keep trying to kill him? This book is awesome!!

Even if only 1% of this book is true, we patriotic Americans (read "lovers of FREEDOM") have something to be concerned about. This book will give even the greatest skeptic of conspiracy theories something to think about. Bill Cooper talks about everything from the Illuminati (which, according to him, encompass virtually all of the secret societies), to aliens, to the Bilderburg group. This book is packed with supporting references, including photo copies of Cooper's authentic naval service files. Warning: you may not be able to read more than a few pages at a time unless you have a strong stomach for conspiracies revealed.

The first time i read this book i was blown away by some of the things that was in it. The pope being a sales men for the gases that killed all those jews in world war,and he evens tells you that GEORGE BUSH was going to be the president. But the thing that really blew me away was all the info thats on our money that we don't pay attenion to we just fold it up and put it in to our pockes. If people don't know about the NEW WORLD ORDER and they need to pick up this book and read it then the next time you are out and about take a look around and thing will start to jump out at you that you never paid att,to. The time is here the time is now so read this and keep on reading!!!!!

I was truly thinking I would get a lot of valuable information in this book, what I found was the disjointed, unreadable rantings of a highly intelligent, yet delusional individual. I'm sure that there is a thread of truth in this book, but it is so hard to follow, that any revelation is lost in the stream of consciousness style of his writing. There is no definitive proof offered, nor common thread that links everything together, although he tries hard to show otherwise. The point in the book where I really said WOW, this guy either did way too many drugs, or is full on loco, is when he asserts that the Alien race created us for their amusement. Great stuff for a matrix type of movie, but way over the top for most of us, even people who like a good conspiracy theory.

As investigative writer and author of The Professional Paranoid (available through the store.com), I found William Cooper's book invaluable. But this review is prompted because no other reviewer seems to have touched upon the true significance of the work, which lies in his inclusion in complete original form of the Constitution of the New States of America. This secret document, created by an intelligence community think tank at an expense of $12M, reveals that someone is planning a brave new world - and it is a shocker! What you don't know can hurt you.

I wanted this book SO bad! Unfortunately, I had NO idea that it would be so technical. I struggled trying to understand a lot of it and I'm not an uneducated person. I thought it would be written in a way that would be easy to read and provide a clear picture of what he's trying to say. Instead it was a lot of technical jargon followed with copies of transcripts, letters, etc. copied and pasted into the book from various agencies. Overall, a HUGE disappointment. :(

This was a very intriguing book that enlightened me, and definitely showed me the importance of knwing your Constitutional rights. William Cooper follows the tradition of many 20th century writers (like Orwell and Huxley)that warn about the dangerous of great power held in the hands of the elite...The thing that I found most interesting about the book is even if you decide the book is bull and take it as fiction, it still provides a powerful theme that can't go ignored. William Cooper in essence is saying, you as an American must learn and protect your god given constitutional rights because if you don't, who will?

Pay no attention to reviews about this book. Read and dicide for yourself what is going on in these 500 pages of mind boggling information. You can't really take the book as proven fact, though, as Cooper has mentioned this in a disclaimer in the front of the book, himself.

"Behold A Pale Horse" is really just a collection of information that Cooper had been distributing for many years. He faxed news letters, held public lectures and debates, and dedicated his life and perhaps even his death to revealing the truth about the people that rule our nation, and possibly our world.

If he's not "one of them", as he states several times in the book, then William Cooper is a true hero.. or puppet, I'm really not sure. The thing that I liked about the book, though, was that he simply proposes several "conclusions" through-out the book, based on whatever information he'd found.

He attempted to verify everything that he came across, and I think that Cooper honestly felt like he had a real chance at hendering whatever might be coming. However, what affects might this book have had on the world? If you're on a search for truth, this book is the origin of a lot of the information that people will hand you. I couldn't even begin to think about all of the ways that this book, alone, might have inspired people. Heh, or the number of watch lists I could have put myself on for posting this review.

There is some who would say that Bill is a right wing gun waving nutcase like one reviewer below. But I just think he/she/it is a liberal dupe. There is also lots and I mean lots of conservative dupes. I'd say Bill is eccentric and some of this book is blather. To dismiss it on the whole because of a couple of space cadet ramblings would be wrong. There is concrete proof that there is a cabal of men in high places mainly the international bankers who are bent on world control and domination. Their arm is the unconstitutional private bank the Federal Reserve who has a strangle hold on the econmy and can cause recessions and depressions with edicts. Do your homework and you'll see the crash of 29' was no accident. The IRS is also illegal so is the income tax which is used to pay the interest on the debt to the international bankers. Now I don't know about the Illuminati or Skull and Bones stuff but it is a big possibilty that their connected. This book covers it all. Not for establishment liberals or conservatives who wish to believe whats on the surface. This is for people like me who want to dig where the dirt, slime and worms are. I first read the book in 1993. Now that we have made it through the Y2K disaster, I dedided to read the book again. I notice that the world did not come to an end in 2000, Jupiter did not blow up because of a bomb we 'secretly' placed on an exploration rocket, the world population crisis seems to have passed, etc. While the book is interesting, some of the points and/or conclusions Cooper makes seem to be stretching it a bit, some of the book appears to be just plain fiction. Okay, I'm really sure that there are quite a few government "conspiracies" and "secrets" out there but...who the heck can live like that? Looking over your shoulder? Being paranoid of EVERYTHING? Constantly distrusting everyone, especially the government?

What I didn't like about this book was that the author (Cooper) seemed to really exist on informing the entire American population that there is a New World Order conspiracy against us. And? What exactly does he think all this "educating of the American population" is supposed to do for us? Are we supposed to take to the streets with shotguns to "take back" our government? Are we supposed to stop buying things that "intentionally distract" us like computers and televisions because this is just a "ploy" to divert our attention so we don't know what's really going on? Should we stop using our grocery store discount cards because this is just another way for the government to closely monitor (and ultimately control) what we purchase?

Come on! Again, who can live like this without getting sick with fear and paranoia?

Yes, I'm sure the government closely monitors everything we do and they may go so far as to try to control the population by killing us off with diseases, HIV, etc. And we're supposed to do exactly WHAT about it? Nothing, that's what we can do. So, we have a choice. Live in another country or stay here.

My theory is that the government itself is in an "information paralysis" state where they are collecting all this data and infringing upon our freedom by recording our phone calls and storing our emails. But did anyone ever care to wonder how they can use these trillions of bits of information that are kicked out by Americans PER MINUTE?? How can ANYONE store that type of information with ANY type of organization to use for anything? And how would they even use it anyway? Unless you're running some type of terrorist group or doing some other type of grand-scale illegal activity, you shouldn't really worry about what they're doing as long as you're "flying under the radar" and conducting yourself like a "normal" American (like the rest of the sheep). Then you should be okay! (And anything you don't want Uncle Sam to know about, maybe you shouldn't be talking about it on the phone, sending emails about it, or storing it on a computer connected to the Internet otherwise you deserve to be busted.)

I'm not trying to be naive about what's "really" going on with our government but I've found that at the age of 40 and having had lived a pretty stressful life to this point, I'm not interested in perpetuating stress or a sense of insecurity by filling my head with fear and paranoia, especially when there's nothing I can really do about it. I don't think that makes me naive. I just think it makes me smart. After all, even if you "know" everything that the government is doing, unless you plan on doing something about it, you're no better off than the dumb American who has blinders on and who knows nothing.

I have to say that after reading this book, all the pieces of the puzzle are sliding into place. There were so many things about our government that I always wondered about, and the answers are here in this book. I highly recommend Behold a Pale Horse. Read this book and find out what is going on in the world today! He documents how America and the rest of the "free" world is headed for a totalitarian socialist one world government. Do you really think that the school shooting are just coincidence? In reality they are a mind control operation to disarm the American public just like in England & Austrailia. When the American public is disarmed then the REAL terror will begin. Read this book and get ready for world government.

If you are reading this, you already know there is something wrong with this world. This book explains exactly what is wrong with it. The government doesn't want you to buy this book. Get it now before it's no longer available. THIS IS THE 2ND MOST IMPORTANT BOOK YOU WILL EVER READ!! (the 1st being the Bible + Apocrypha). Oh yeah, did i mention the author was MURDERED by the authorities in Nov, 1991? Apparently, his arrest warrant came with a bullet.

I don't know how much of Cooper's book is fact, or fiction, but it is a wonder to behold. For the most part, it gives a fairly consistent overview of the current conspiracy genre. What is most amazing, is that this tome was written ten years prior to the events of 9/11. However, as interesting as the book is, I suspect that it is largely delusion or disinformation. The tell-tale clue comes from the claim that he witnessed the JFK assassination on live TV. It is fairly well known that there was no such television coverage of the motorcade through Dealey Plaza when Kennedy was shot. Of course, this might be a fluke of memory, but if his memory has been tainted, who knows what else is amiss in this otherwise fascinating book.

The obvious misunderstanding of William Coopers, "Behold A Pale Horse", by several of those who gave a negative review, calling the book "garbage" and a waste of money, made it very apparent that they did not really "READ" the book. Mr. Cooper's own admonition of, "Read everything, talk to everyone, believe nothing unless you can verify it in your own research"...as well as ending that statement with, " Don't even believe me", was to ignite a spark of interest in the reader,(or listener of his radio programs). He wanted everyone to use their brain that God gave them. He wanted them to find out information through their own research and persistent digging of ALL types of material in the quest for the TRUTH. Simply put, he wanted you to THINK FOR YOURSELF. And one can not think for themselves, so as to arrive at their own educated conclusions if they don't do their "own homework". It makes no sense to rely on anothers word just because you like them or they're your friend or that you believe they wouldn't intentionally lie to you...or because they are your favorite newscaster on the t.v., radio or writer for your daily newspaper. Mankinds problems throughout history can be traced to imperfect men leading imperfect men. Just let the other guy figure it out. The best way to screw yourself up is by following the "other guy". There's a part in the book where Mr.Cooper tells of the very first time he saw a UFO while being on deck of the surfaced USS Tiru as the "port lookout". The Tiru is a submarine. I heard a caller to Mr. Cooper's show one night swear up and down that he doesn't believe submarines can fly and that Mr.Cooper lied in the book. The caller swore he read the book several times. BUT he STILL didn't understand because he didn't pay attention to what he was reading. He didn't open his mind to what he was reading because he didn't use his brain...he didn't think. Here is a quote from a very famous man,.."What luck for Rulers that men do not think" -Adolf Hitler. The book was meant to reveal what Mr.Cooper had wittnesed and read in classified documentation and technology while in the service of his country that he swore a solemn oath to..his sacred honor,..that he would defend his country against enemies-foreign AND domestic, and to reveal Americas loss of Liberty and Freedoms through the plans of the "elite" to bring about their "new world order" by their subjugation of our Constitution through deceptions of ALL kinds which were and still are, meant to bring America and her people to its knees. Its really quite simple. If you don't adhere to the Constitution while in the service of any government body, then you are commiting TREASON against the Constitution, America & "We The People". Throw out the Constitution and America ceases to be. The Constitution IS America. If you don't know that...then you haven't read it.
If you really want to know what's wrong with this country, go look into the mirror. We have all, at one time or another, been ignorant of everything around us and have let others we entrust to public office dictate to us and legislate against us through their socialist-communist agenda. They steal our wealth by tax on tax and then find more things to tax on tax like our dry cleaning, dog grooming, getting your nails done, etc.not to mention the ever escalating property taxes, fuel oil and gasoline taxes, cigarette and alcohol tax, auto registration and license fees, hunting permits...they allow criminals freedom and lock-up those who protest murder of the unborn and the removal of the Ten Commandments from a courthouse. Whats wrong is right and whats right is wrong. They legislate unconstitutionally from the bench and prosecute, or should I type..persecute?..."We The People" when we find we have been lied to and try to bring it into the open, into public view for all to see, by shuting us up, whether through incarceration... or as in Mr.Coopers case, MURDER. Bill used to say, "You have to be willing to die for freedom...or you can't have it". And as I say, "There's right and there's wrong, you have to do one or the other, which one will you do"? "Behold A Pale Horse" starts with a introduction to Mr.Cooper, his family history as well as his own to give the reader a comfortable "feel" of Bill's family just being like any other average American family. He reveals documentation which will have a direct affect on us all...and he wound up giving his life because he believed in The Constitution, America, Liberty, Freedom and Americans. Wake up already America!...And this book is a good place to start.
" A nation or world of people who will not use their intelligence are no better than animals who have no intelligence, such people are beasts of burden and steaks on the table by their own choice and consent".
Tony, Rest In Peace Bill...... & GOD SAVE THE REPUBLIC!

Kind of a collection of conspiracy theory essays. Imagine all the best (worst) conspiracy theories you've ever heard on the internet all rolled up into a single book. I would like to start off first by stating that I really enjoyed the book. I do feel however, that more emphasis could have been placed on the government's involvement with the control of narcotics in our society, primarily targeting the "undesirables" I wanted to read more about the roles these secret societies played in their attempt of annihilation-oops excuse me, population control in other countries such as Africa and Asia. On a lighter note, there were a few so-called predictions of future or up-coming events, but I wanted to here Mr. Cooper's opinion of the beginning of human existence and if he came across any top secret or intelligence documents which may contradict traditional and/or religous beliefs.
