The Secret to Teen Power

This is an excellent book to teach teens with. If they do not take the time to read it, then the adult can read it and teach them on a teen level. The only part I had any objection to was on one page there is a quote by our President Obama. Which is a good quote. Then a couple of pages past this quote was a piece about Donald Trump that was more negative. I realize the copyright was 2009, but it sounded a little political to me.

The Secret and Power were both books that changed my way of thinking and then changed my whole life. I gave both books to many of my friends and have now bought Teen Power for my granddaughter, who I know will learn many good thoughts to change her life. It is no secret!!

This book is very useful to approach teen's language and for situations they have to handle.

Is very recommended for Teen's parents for understant them better.

In school enviroment is great to get an approach of the application of creative thinking and law of attraction.

My pre-teen daughter and I are reading sections of this together. This has prompted some really good conversations between us. I really like how the book encourages them to be accountable for their lives and how they feel- just like the Secret does for adults. The quotes are great because she is seeing that these ideas are not just the opinion of the author but have been used for ages by many people she recognizes. It is also easier to have a discussion on things that aren't 'mom's crazy ideas'. We read, discuss, and the I encourage her to think about it more and take from it what she wants and see if she sees as time goes on how any of what she is learning can apply to things she experiences. I'm excited to see what she takes from it and how it has a positive impact.

Our daughter - 13 years old - loves this book. She is playing with the law of manisfesting for her school work, her tests, to manifest all the things that feel important in her life. At the moment she loves to manifest a dog in our life, her own friend.
We do have the book and the DVD from The Secret for more then a year in our home but it wasn't that attractive to her. Now with Teen Power, she understands it in her own language. the book realy reaches young people!
Although we are living in The Netherlands (and speak Dutch) it doesn't stop our daughter to read it in English.

Paul Harrington writes a powerful work for teens who really do need to hear The Secret message in "teen language" so they can implement these concepts into their daily lives. He uses teen specific experiences to help motivate and inspire the teen reader who will pick up this book, looking to learn how to improve their own life. I also enjoyed reading examples taken from popular movies like Star Wars ,The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and He's Just Not That Into Your where this often abstract information is brought to life in the minds of the teenager.

For the last couple of years, I have been working on teaching "The Secret" to my 12-year-old daughter, explaining to her about mindfulness and how to be deliberate in her thought. Have read just about every book by Esther Hicks. Also followed the "plan" in Ask Believe Receive, which has really brought us closer, since we worked on manifesting things as a team. Still, I wanted something made for a younger audience, to break down everything in a way she could easily understand. This book does that.

This book is very similar to the Secret (and follows the same basic outline) but a little more "hip" as far as language goes. It's done in a way kids can relate to, yet still holds the same basic message.

This is the book you wished you had as a kid. It encourages hopes and dreams and let's you know what you want is possible! Even if you're skeptical of the Law of Attraction, to me, this aspect is worth buying it for. It is very encouraging.

Pretty much everything a teen goes through is here, with some stuff my generation wasn't aware of, such as the environment and global community.

I am looking forward to going through this with my daughter.

Something I have done, which you may find helpful, is purchase two copies. I did this so my daughter can give a copy to one of her friends and they can work on manifesting things together. In all the reading I have done, as well as from personal experience, I have found that it is very helpful to have a group of like-minded people in your life. Doing this is one way to make sure she has that.

I purchased this book for two teenagers. My daughter and her best friend. It took a while before they decided to read it. Finally both of them decided to read it this year. My daughter was always mature beyond her years and I feel this book will serve as a positive source of information that she can put to good use. Instead of telling your child here's my mistake and you should not repeat my mistake. Give them this book instead. Going over the table of content will make you realize it was a good investment. I hope to pass it along to other teenagers and my other children as well. The secret is an awesome piece of literature and I am not surprise this one is too. Enjoy and make sure you give it to as many teenagers as you can and make sure you emphasize how important it is for them to read it. If you can make it mandatory.

This book is simply amazing. It opened my eyes to the things I barely paid any attention for. I feel so excited and happy right now, every teen who struggles with his/her life absolutely has to read it!

My son felt it condescending, so I thumbed thru it and could see why it didn't speak to him. He's a very bright teen and this just wasn't intelligent enough for him. For others? I'm sure it works, as I've read loads of letters on 'The Secret' site who's faith and lives have been changed for the better.

The philosophy of this book states that our minds have the power to attract good or bad energy into our lives. The advice given by the Teen Secret is that you should avoid all the negativity whether it'd be a toxic situation or a toxic person.

Though this book is written for teenagers, anyone seeking a concise understanding of the law of attraction and how to work it will enjoy this book. In fact I liked it better than the original Secret
Book.

Yes there are the teenager appropriate examples and language. But unlike so many so called spiritual tomes, this book doesn't beat around the bush and gets to the point. This book doesn't have so many qualifiers and conditions to making the law of attaction work, which is refreshing.

The author understand the the fact that the law of attraction is simple. And he understands that teenagers have the attention spans of a gnat. Thus the book is beautifully simple and a fast enjoyable read.

Good for kids, teenagers, adults in a hurry, needing to quick reminders to the attracting energy behind all things.
