Rachel Morgan can't help but dig herself deeper and deeper into trouble as she tries to help find a killer taking out witches in her city. THus is my second time reading the series, and its well worth it to read over and over.

Kim Harrison has a wild imagination and in every book she amazes me with her advanced imagination and plot line. All I can say is she keeps me interested and it's unlike anything I've ever read! This book is one of my favorites in the series!

Having grown up in the hollows, this series has a special place in my heart. But more than that, the characters are rich and alive. Fantasy, yes but extremely believable, if vampires, witches, pixies and elves really existed. Kim Harrison makes us believe. I became lost in the excitement and adventure. Not knowing what happens next, I can't wait to start the next book. Well worth the money and time spent reading. For me this is a classic to be read again and again.

As a big fan of the paranormal genre,I thoroughly enjoyed this book.I had never read anything by this author,so I took a chance.Now I have ordered 2 more of her books.I read this book in 2 days.Wow!If you love Paranormal books,with interesting themes,this is for you.I am hooked.

Ok. I find the main character frustrating at best. The way she continues to treat her friends just irritates the crap out of me. She endangers one's career for a petty reason and continues to trust one even though ever instinct is telling her not to. The author keeps harping on whether or not Rachel should share blood or sex with Ivy and quite frankly I don't care anymore. If she could just come to a decision I could probably keep reading but this seems to be a theme in later books as well. If I hear that they finally clean up her love life I might be interested coming back but until then, I'm done. Other people may enjoy it but it's just not my cup of tea.

I liked the first book, Dead Witch Walking, but I absolutely LOVED this book! I couldn't put it down. I love the characters, the originality, never knowing or expecting what will happen next. And there are some very sexy characters, as well as funny and scary (sometimes mixes of all three). I can hardly wait to read the next book in the series. I think it's my new favorite series!!

I fell in love with the Kim Harrison series since the very first. The characters are all so colorful and unique. She has a great style of writing that lets you really feel connected to the characters.

I am finding myself frustrated. The book grabbed my interest more or less at the beginning but I was quickly finding myself not caring to the point of being bored. Then suddenly the last third of the story hooked me in until the end. So although I was on the fence about this series, I found enough interest in the Hollows characters that I will read book 3 and see if it continues to grow on me.
