What an amazing story. Well written and the story kept you interested.
This story is about a young woman that was sent away to live with family friends after her parents passed away and her grandfather couldn't take care of her. After She graduated she returned to take care of her grandfather who has become ill. She then falls for a werewolf shifter.

Wow what a fantastic read!!! A young woman who had for the past 10 years lived away from her only living relative, her Grand father . She was back in the home town and looking after her grandfather. A chance encounter with a stranger, sets an emotional roller coaster of events. I won't spoil it for you, but it is a gripping tale. It kept me spell bound throughout the entire book.

What a great book! Kimber White has such great talent in delivering a story full of twists, turns, and super hot love scenes.
It's so well written and I love the way that the book just pulls you in to the characters. Luke and Tamryn's love story will have you hooked.
You can read this book as a stand alone but I'd recommend the Wild Lake Series to anyone and everyone.
Can't wait for the next one to be released!

I really enjoyed this book. It follows the story of Tamyrn Kane, who comes home after years away to help care for her sick grandfather, and Luke Tully, a lone werewolf living in a cabin on the edge of the property bordering her home and the Wild Lakes wolf pack lands. As they meet, and Luke discovers that she is his mate, sparks begin to fly between the two of them.
Can't wait to read the next in this series.

Loved the book. Wow what a twisted story this turned out to be - I sure didn't see any of what happened coming. Poor parentless young child rejected by her Grandfather and sent far away to be raised by friends of her deceased father. Only to be brought back into a quagmire when she comes back to take care of her Grandfather when dementia begins to set in. I was given this book free in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Luke finally proved to the town and more importantly to himself that he was as good and decent as Tamryn always tells him he is. Lots of action, danger and sex in this story, including twists and turns and a few surprises along the way. I thought I had it all figured out only to find I was only half right. Kimber White has such a fascinating mind to create such wild and sexy characters that make them seem so real even though we all know werewolfs are only fictional right?! Growl!!

I have always loved shifter books and this was one of the best. I didn't know this book was in the middle of a series but it is also a stand alone book and I can't wait to go back to the beginning. I highly recommend this one to all who like romance and\ or shifter. It contains graphic but tastefully written sexual scenes in just the right amount.

Wonderful shifter story and gives new meaning to living on both sides of the line. As the Wild Lake Wolfs protect the Oodena townsfolk. To have the 9th Daughter return as mate to the Wolf, having both live in both worlds.
I recommend this to anyone who enjoys Shifter stories.

Luke and tamryn story was amazing, hot and sexy. The love bond was so strong and sweet. Both are having their own issues and come together with drama and twists. Just like the first one this keeps you wanting more. You won't be disappointed. Great book for he price.

A received an arc for an honest review. Exquisitely written love story within a mystery and threatened violence. Didn't put it down until I was finished and then wished for more. The secrets held by the council, once revealed gave another dimension to the story and another surprise. I loved that there was no cliffhanger, but still want more.

I've been patiently waiting for Luke's story since reading Rogue Alpha. I was not disappointed! Kimber always write a great story, but she went above and beyond with Dark Wolf! Her characters are supreme and the intrigue was just the right amount of surprise. Thanks for bringing the readers another great read. I await Bas' story!

I really enjoyed reading Dark Wolf. I received a copy for free in exchange for an honest review. Dark Wolf introduces us to Tamryn and Luke and some of the background of the town. I do not give spoilers in my reviews so I won't reveal anything. I thought this book was well written and hope to read Bas's story soon.

I liked the tormented part that our hero played. You could feel his emotions given, but I think it got lost on our heroine. You never really get what she looks like? You get hair color but "body type" is not really there. Not bad otherwise and very few, if any typos

Tamryn and Luke .....wow! This book stayed in my library for a minute but when I finally decided to read it I couldn't it down. Lies, racism, and misunderstandings mark this book. Then throw in a hot were and what a story. The series is getting better and better

I actually thought her people were magic or something, the way they were all mysterious and talking in riddles. I never would have suspected that his brother killed her parents. Looking forward to the next book.

This series just keeps getting better. I loved this book and the chemistry between the characters was out of this world. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

Dark Wolf is very well written. The characters are clearly and well drawn and their actions make sense. The plot is good and moves quickly. The editing is excellent--no typo's, unfinished sentences or other flubs to distract from this very good story. I only wish it were longer so there could be more detail about some of the plot points!

Tamryn lives with her grandpa but that wasn’t alway true 10 years ago he sent her away thinking to protect her. Now that she’s back he still hasn’t told her the hole story about the curse. Her grandpa has dementia and wanderers off so she is out in a snow storm trying to find him and when she does she can’t get him to safety until Luke helps her out but there is something different about him and she is drawn to him. But that is the start of their trouble. So enjoy the read and see if they get a HEA ! !
