Another great story from Angie Fox. Lizzie finally gets the man of her dreams in this installment but not without another knock down drag out fight with some old demon from her past. This one kept me glued to the pages to find out what would happen next. There were times when I could figure out what happens next but I still enjoyed it. Now I just have to find out what happens in the next book.

Wowee! I got this book two days ago from NetGalley and simply couldn't stop reading it once I started. I've only read one book in this series (An Accidental Demon-Slayer, the first in the series) and this one was as good as the first, and I seriously need to track down the other books to read!
First off, you do not have to have read all the books in the series to understand the events of this book, but it will certainly help you sort out in your own head who a lot of the people referenced are. There were a few that, because of the books I haven't read, I was a little lost on, but that didn't hurt me for more than a few moments.
Second: all the hillarity that you get in the first book (a demon making itself known as it comes out of Lizzie's toilet, a smuckers-jar filled with spells throwing Grandma, and a talking-terrier named Pirate) are all present and accounted for in this book. While there is a definite serious bent to this book (it deals with Lizzie trying to figure out which of the wedding guests present is possessed by a demon who wants to kill her), you can't take everything too serious. I mean, c'mon, there's a terrier that talks and a obsessive-compulsive mother of the bride out to present a society-perfect wedding!
Despite Lizzie's mother's moratorium on sex before marriage, Lizzie and Dimitri never fail to try to get in a few gropes, and other things, and more than once Lizzie gets caught with her hand down Dimitri's pants (literally). There's a creepy ghost and biker witches galore. The cast of secondary characters made this book much richer than it otherwise would have been, and I seriously don't think there's any spare fat at all for the story, no sense of pages just for pages.
Lizzie is adorable in her own way. She's much more confident as a demon-slayer than she was in the first book (which makes sense since she's now been a practicing demon-slayer for a year) and yet still is learning her abilities. I'm intrigued to learn that she's got angelic blood in her too (one of those factoids in a book I haven't read).
Dimitri, we don't get into his head since the whole thing is in Lizzie's first-person POV, but he's definitely devoted to Lizzie and incredibly protective of her under any and all circumstances, whether it's from a poisoning attempt or her mother who has minute-by-minute plans for the week leading up to the wedding.
I can't recommend this book enough. Go out and buy it, read it, love it! Definite and easy 5-star review. Come out with the next one soon, Ms. Fox!

Lizzie Brown, demon slayer and all around touch chick has been reduced to a puddle of mush by her mother's takeover of her upcoming wedding to Dimitri. Who knew a week of wedding activities could be more horrid than fighting ghosts, and striking down the nether world. Lizzie used to be a nice girl that followed all the rules but that was before she discovered her true inner ability to use her dark forces for good and an amazing ability to be a biker chick.
If all things work out Lizzie will become the wife of Dimitiri, a shape shifting Greek Griffin and all around amazing man in mere days, but fate is not only fickle she is mean. Dimitri is understanding of her temperament and defender of her entire being while always keeping his cool under pressure. Right now the problem is the power that each have seem to be merging giving Dimitri more and Lizzie, well next to none. This does not stop Lizzie from solving the mystery of what the symbols around the estate are, who the ghost is, and which one of the bridal guests is trying to killer her. Lizzie is searching the estate in hopes of solving the mystery and also this gives her the ability to stay away from her mother who is turning into the wedding planner from hell.
The deeper Lizzie looks for clues the more trouble she finds with even deeper issues arising as it no one, not even Dimitri can be trusted. Seriously it is a good thing her switch stars are working properly because the wedding guests may be the least of her problems when everything goes bad really fast and Lizzie has to pull all of her inner resources to not fall apart under pressure.
Angie Fox rocks the writing world with great characters, killer story line details, and a romance that makes your toes curl.

MY BIG FAT DEMON SLAYER WEDDING is the fifth book in the Demon Slayer series by Angie Fox. I recommend reading the series in order from book one. I was given this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.
Lizzie and Dimitri come to the states to say I Do. Lizzie's adopted mother is not "in the know" and is planning every detail of a "society" wedding. It soon becomes clear that the status quo cannot continue.
Angie Fox brings together the Biker Witches, the griffin clan and Lizzie's adopted parents. What looks like a recipe for disaster... is a disaster, but this is nothing new for Lizzie and Dimitri.
I found the story slow to start, but it began to pick up just before half-way through. At that point I was hooked. With that being said, I feel like there is something I was missing. The end felt incomplete and rushed. I've enjoyed the previous 4 books and gave them all 4-5 star ratings, MY BIG FAT DEMON SLAYER WEDDING fell short of its predecessors.
Three stars is still a good rating, so don't let this detour you from reading the series. Although I found the ending unsatisfying, I find it necessary to wrap up the story line.

My Big Fat Demon Slayer Wedding by Angie Fox
Frick! A favored alternative to swearing by this former teacher turned Demon Slayer. This is the fifth book in the series and I enjoyed it immensely. Maybe because I know the characters and finally see Lizzie and Dimitri get hitched or maybe because Lizzie's Mom plays a role. Regardless, I love the biker witch antics and the mysteries that need to solved in each book.
I wouldn't recommend reading this if you haven't read a couple of the prior books in the series mostly because you will lose some of the nuances from prior books.
It's always fun to meet a new biker witch. Melody is the new weapons expert.

What great fun to see all these amazing and wacky characters again. Angie has created a family of people that make it hard to not love. With a wedding trying it’s best to not happen and a couple so completely made for chaos what is not to love?
Dimitri Kallinikos …… sigh. Who wouldn’t put up with all this mess to be his wife? If you have been around since book one, Demon Slayer #5 is your love letter. Lizzie and Dimitri together……magic.
It’s a fun read and a great reason to re-read the entire series.

Put (on) some Windex - Gus Portokalos, father of the bride, MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING.
I was expecting Windex to make a guest appearance in Angie Fox's MY BIG FAT DEMON SLAYER WEDDING. Fox delivers plenty of laughs in the fifth innstallment of the Biker Witches series. This is the first book in the series (although I have read Fox's other paranormal series, Monster MASH). I understand how this series has become a smash hit with paranormal fans, landing it on the NY Times Bestseller list. Fox wraps up a delicious treat of mayhem, humor, and passion with a sprinkling of the absurd ... but no Windex!
Recommended read for those who enjoy light hearted paranormal romance ... and for those who enjoy romantic comedy!
I received a print copy from the publisher for an impartial review.

I stumbled upin Angie Fox and have been addicted ever since. Love this series. I find myself laughing out loud, holding my breath, and just grinning throughout the read.
On side note was house hunting recently in St.Louis area(Angie's hometown)and we were looking at really cute and cozy home and kept saying to husband ,
"I can so see myself reading here, here, and here ."
Then went downstairs and saw framed bookcovers for Demonslayer. So homeowner happens to come home and was on her laptop and I said "I see you like Angie Fox? "
To which she replies "yes....why "
I then procede to tell her how much I love her(Angie) series and how I tell all my friends that series awesome read blah blah.
She says well "glad to hear it I'm Angie Fox"
It was soooooo so cool she signed and gave me books and bookmarks and was just super nice .
Meanwhile my husband and realtor are looking at me as if ive gone crazy.
Just very cool.

Wow! Action, fast paced and funny. A wedding should be a happy occasion but not if someone is out to kill you before you say "I do". Who is behind the plot to kill her? A classroom of children was never as hard to control as the people attending her wedding. Loved it. If you felt frazzled by your wedding day - imagin her feelings.

Lizzie Brown was adopted and raised by a prestigious family in Atlanta, Georgia. When she goes looking for her biological family she discovers her grandma. Grandma turns out to be not only a witch but belongs to a coven of over 25 Harley riding biker witches. Lizzie determines that her life as a properly raised southern, elementary school teacher is not her true calling. She learns she's actually a natural born demon slayer. She also is now able to understand and speak to her Jack Russell, Pirate. She meets Dimitri, a very handsome Greek and shape shifting Griffin. Now, Dimitri and Lizzie are planning to be married and her adoptive mother, Hillary, wants it done up to Atlanta's society standards. Lizzie would marry Dimitri anywhere in a heartbeat, but she caves in to Hillary's demand for an extravagant week of wedding parties at an ominous, turn of the century, California mansion. She is already worried about how her mother will take the news about her being a demon slayer, grandma being a witch or that her fiancé and his family are Griffins.
Lizzie hopes this will be an opportunity for the families to come together. However Lizzie keeps hearing a voice asking for help and after arriving at the estate she sees the ghost of a young woman several times. She also discovers demonic symbols around the grounds.
This is the fifth book in the series and the third that I have read. You really do not need to start with the first book, but I still eventually plan to read it. The book is light and entertaining. I love the characters and the fact Lizzie can understand and carry on a conversation with her dog, Pirate.
I have not received any compensation for this review and I do really like the series. Since I was a small girl I have believed in magic.

I remember reading the earlier of these novels and being less than impressed. I think this book has come a long way from those. It has the potential to be super funny and flippant with the motley cast of characters, but it isn't. It is more serious, more kick-butt. I was much more engaged in this book than I was in the previous books. I loved Dimitri!
In reading the book, the writing was descriptive enough that I could picture everything so well. I felt the emotions. I thought this was a worthwhile read for sure.
I was provided a copy in exchange for my honest review.

Love this series. A prim and proper woman turned into a demon slayer. Nothing could go wrong, especially when you have a griffin as your protector and boyfriend, and a geriatric biker gang of witches helping out. This series has love, laughter, fight scenes, sex scenes, and excellent story lines. What more could you ask for??

So happy Lizzie and Dimitri's love story culminates in a wedding you will never forget. This series makes you laugh out loud and has enough suspense and mystery in it you never know what is going to happen next. Love it!!

Lizzy and Dimitri's wedding--at last. Biker witches on the bride's side, griffins on the groom's side, and "regular" friends and relatives mixed in as fodder for the demonic forces bent on taking over the wedding, and more.
