The First Two Books in the Meg Langslow Series (Meg Langslow Mysteries)

I love this series! Donna Andrews goes light on the contrived drama and eye-rolling situations of typical cozies. The kooky goofiness of her family is very endearing, and contributes to stories that are just FUN. This 2-in-one volume is a great introduction to the Meg mysteries. She is a smart, capable, and unique heroine that I would love to be a real-life friend.

Bubby: Donna Andrews has written (at last count) 18 high-flying mysteries revolving around Meg Langslow and her eccentric family in the college town of Caerphilly. The series begins with Murder With Peacocks and book 19, Lord of the Wings (yes, she is clever like that) comes out August 4th.

I have been reading this series for years. They are fun easy reads. This double book of the first 2 books would be a great way to start reading the series. The books stand alone but it is better to read in order to stick with the character development. A good vacation/beach book.

Joyous written, wonderfully plotted. I can related to the heroine's notebook that tells her when to breathe. Twists, turns, colorful characters, love, laughter. A hero that tries to rescue the heroine who can take care of herself, thank you very much.
Plan to read the series, they are are all enjoyable.

This was truly an enjoyable. I was a good mystery and it was so much fun to read. I just loved the characters. And Med was so funny, I just love her personality. And her family and friends are hoot. I am so sure you will enjoy these two books.

Wonderful series, this is the first two in one book, LOVE LOVE LOVE !!!! Was introduced to these books by a friend and tried them even thought they're far outside my normal book choices. Can't get enough ! MUST READ
