OMG after Consolation I wanted Conviction more than my next breath.... Corinne left me wanting and the waiting but it was well worth the wait. Conviction will give you everything you need in a book. Natalie is a woman that knows what she wants and gets it. Liam is well what can I say I think if I could make up everything I would want in a man it would be him... Their story is very emotional and will have you pulling your hair out and tugging on your heart strings. Everything gets wrapped up and in the end you will not be disappointed. It was the perfect ending to a perfect story... Thank you Corinne for sharing this wonderful story with us. I can not wait to read what you have for us next.. If you have not read any of her books I recommend them all. You can not go wrong with anyone of them.

I love, LOVE Liam! Consolation and Conviction are two of my favorite books ever. These stories ripped out my heart and had me in tears. Simply beautiful. Nothing stands in the way of these characters, even when everything seems to go wrong, and I love their tenacity and devotion.

This book was beyond exceptional and beautiful. So worthy of more than 5 stars. I wasn't ready for it to end even though I knew the end was drawing close I was somehow trying to make it last longer. I haven't come anywhere close to my feel of Liam. I freaking love that man!!!! The author is a freaking genius for sure!!!
Then There Was You (Second Chances Duet Book 1) :: Promise to Marry (Promises Book 1) :: Defenseless (The Salvation Series Book 5) :: Conversations About Life and Comedy - Sick in the Head :: Beholden (The Salvation Series Book 2)

I absolutely loved this book!
Corinne writes some amazing characters, you feel their happiness and their pain. I love the growth we see throughout this book, there were a lot of difficult things they were going thru and it wasn't easy for any of them.
Perfect ending!

Not sure I believe that all the "brothers" jumped on the lee wagon and pretty much left Aaron to flounder. He was back but no support provided to him...... and one of his "best" friends conducts the marriage ceremony???????? Really????

oh Corinne Michaels: I love you and your Navy Seals!! Jackson was fantastic and Liam is to die for :) To feel the love these two have for each other is such a wonderful joy and knowing that they didn't find it in the most normal of ways. Was never disappointed and will read again and again

This book just like book one took my breathe away. I am a person who enjoys reading some steamy books but this book just blew me away with how much I was satisfied with the story with no true or heavy breathing (from the characters). The tale is so heartfelt and this is actually the second book I have read in this military series.

I absolutely loved these books (Consolation and Conviction). Liam and Natalies love story was epic. Consolation ended in a huge cliffhanger and I have been waiting (impatiently) for Conviction to release. It was well worth the wait. Beautifully written and a great read!

After the crazy cliffhanger in book one, book two of The Consolation duet was everything I expected and more! Again, a very emotional read but with so much laughter that I literally had tears falling down my face. I love, love, love Liam and Lee. Another must read. Awesome job, Corinne!

I just read both Consolation and Conviction books and can say that I like the story. It was fun to see them all interact with each other. Lee did at times become whiny to me but then I would think of her situation and try to understand her more. Overall and ok read.

Epic, epic conclusion to this duet. I was so scared starting this book but Corinne worked her usual magic and gave me an amazing story. These characters will live in your heart forever. Corinne's writing is amazing and will always grab your heart and squeeze it as hard as she can. I can't wait for what else she has in store for us.

After giving the first one in this series a three star review, I'm asking myself why I even bothered to buy this one. My neurotic "must finish a series" has finally bitten me in the butt. It is basically the same repetitive and cheesy lines as the first one. Yes, we get it, you will absolutely die if you don't have him. Enough with it already! During the first book and this one, there seemed to be another sub plot about supplies disappearing and a lot of investigation into it, but there was never any outcome on that. Why even bother to mention it? I felt like the book just fell flat for me. There was little to no action, and about halfway through it I started to get bored. I was waiting for something to come along and draw me in, but it never happened. By the end, I just didn't care anymore. I didn't even read their marriage vows to each other because I didn't want to read the same repetitive cheese that I had been reading since the first book. No, thank you. Would I buy another book by this author? Possibly. Because I believe in second (and yes, sometimes even third) chances, and I think she writes well, she just needs to vary her writing a little bit more.

I loved loved loved the first book in this series. I try to avoid series books all together unless all the books in the series are out. However I made an exception. I was anxiously awaiting this book, as soon as it came out I was reading. The beginning was great; however I kept waiting for something I don't know bigger to happen but nothing did. There were a couple of story holes I think as well. Don't get me wrong it still was a pretty good book and I do recommend it to read, but the ending fell a little flat for me. I hope to read more from this author.

Natalie and Liam had found their way and now something causes them mainly him to take a step back. This book has some surprises that's for sure:) Will Natalie be able to find her way back to Liam and bring him back to her or is it now just too much?

You should STOP if you haven't read Consolidation!
If you know me, you know I have a list a mile long of books I need to read because I review, a lot. This was not on that list but I did pre-order it because I was left stunned at the end of Consolation. When it appeared on my Kindle I finished what I was in the middle of and immediately started this one. Once I started, I could not stop. I needed to know what was going to happen, I needed to know how everyone was going to make this complete mess work and deadlines be damned.
"I moved toward Liam, his blue eyes meet mine as I rush towards him. I take his hands in mine, but he releases them. My heart shatters as he steps back."
For most of this book my heart was in my throat. I could not fathom the impossible decisions that lay ahead of Natalie and Liam. Their life was almost perfect, only to be shattered. Aaron's arrival was like a slap in the face or knife to the gut. Not only was it painfully unbelievable that he was in fact alive, but now comes the aftermath of the mess he made before he left. The pains and trials that Natalie, Liam and Aaron have to face are heart-wrenching and if I were a crier I am sure I would have been mush.
Besides the soul crushing, there was also some humor and growth. These three are all at different points in their lives. They all have grown and learned a little more about life. Liam is becoming the man he never thought he would get the chance to be. His life before was about the mission not about family. Aaron needed to learn to deal with the demons that are left on his soul not only from his mistakes but also the toll of being lost on a mission. Natalie needed to grow up and take the blinders off, she knows what she wants and had to learn to fight for it. She was used to easy and comfortable but that is not what real love is all about.
Over-all this story was one of beauty; you laugh, have your heart broken but in the end it was all worth it.
"Sometimes you have to wade through the bad to find the good."

Never have I waited with such anticipation for a book than I did with this one. Corinne has a way with her characters. As you read them, they come to life right before your eyes. When Natalie's past comes back to haunt her, what will her future with Liam be? Corinne won't disappoint you.

There are certain things you come to expect from a Corinne Michaels' book. You can expect to be drawn in from the first page. You can expect to relate to real characters and their hopes, their fears, their highs and their lows. You can expect to smile, swoon, cry and laugh all within the span of a few pages. And you can always expect one hell of a story.
This book picks up immediately following the jaw dropping cliffhanger from Book One, Consolation. The slow-building love story of Natalie and Liam that was cultivated do smoothly in Consolation faces a big threat from the past. You genuinely feel for all the characters that find them in a situation they are ill-prepared for. Natalie was broken with the death of her husband and Liam brought her back to life. You feel their pain and yearning for each other as they deal with the past.
This is truly Natalie's journey. She may have been broken, but she knows what she wants. She knows that she has to do the right thing for her and for her daughter. Team Natalie!
I truly cannot say enough about how great this book was. A thrilling, satisfying conclusion to Natalie's story. Corinne weaves the story of Liam and Natalie with a strong supporting cast of familiar faces. Mark, in particular, shines in this book. I cannot wait for his story and will cherish reading Natalie and Liam's as I did Jackson & Catherine's.

The conclusion to Liam and Natalies story was everything I'd hoped for! I love the connection that Liam and Arrabelle had even if they weren't biologically related. Liam is every women's dream man. Sweet, fiercely protective, faithful and devoted. In the beginning I didn't think they'd make it with everything that stood in their path but their love proved me wrong! I'm happy everyone had a good ending but I can't wait for Marks book! I was laughing every time he had a part in the book and imagine I'll do the same when his book comes out! So a big high five to Corinne for writing such an awesome book! Can't wait for more!

I thought Consolation was pretty good, but Conviction knocked it out of the park for me.
I won't be spoilery here at all, but if you read the 1st book you know there was a MAJOR cliffhanger/plot twist at the end. I will say that the author did not follow what you might expect and that's what makes this story stand out for me. I loved how Natalie was written, her journey was heart wrenching. I loved that she made her decision about what she wanted and did not waiver. I read a lot of books and I can usually predict how these stories are going to go, but in some ways this one really surprised me.
This book has a lot going on, but above all it is a totally engrossing love story. It is romance done well (with just the perfect amount of spicy).
I hope we get more of this group in the future! So many great side characters (Quinn, Mark, Reanell... keep em coming Corinne Michaels!)

Wow, this book was simply amazing! I started Conviction immediately after finishing Consolation and it picked up right where the first book left off. Once again, Corinne Michaels put me on an emotional rollercoaster ride with her writing. Much like Consolation, Conviction made me laugh, cry, and feel anxious about what was going to happen. I just could not stop turning pages! I saw some of the things coming in this book but others were complete surprises. I am so glad that I discovered Corinne Michaels and will continue to look for her new releases. If you read Consolation, Conviction is a MUST READ! I highly recommend this contemporary romance to anyone looking for a new author.

Corinne Michaels is one of those authors that writes a story so brilliantly that it seems the reader is watching a movie! I loved the witty playful banter between Natalie and Liam, not to mention the steamy love scenes, the anguish and heartbreak of Liam and Aiden with their loss, but especially how she gave us readers the special insight of what our military families have to go through when their loved ones get deployed or don't come home. I cried thru a full box of Kleenex but also laughed until my stomach hurt. This is one of my favorite stories this year!
