Sweet Tilly (Drifters and Dreamers Romances)

I have enjoyed everyone of Carolyn Brown books. I start reading an can't put them down, I laugh, then cry sometimes then have a happy heart. I'm looking for other Carolyn Brown books to read.. She the "Best"......

This is a great period piece of realistic fiction. This is a second in a series of three, I think. I read them out of order. Although good, better if you read them in order... morning glory, sweet Tilly, and then evening star.

Enjoyed reading about Tilly and her family and her legacy for moonshine. Then Ford come to town to close down the moonshiners. He is determined to catch her and she keeps evading him, but the attraction is there too.

First of all I love Carolyn Brown books. But this one was even better. I love the fun she had with this one and I will not go into detail I will just say read it you will not be unhappy that you did. Enjoy.

Read the last line and my first thought was, "Well, that was fun." The stories of Clara, Tilly and Addison were fun, full of love for family and those chosen as family. This is a light-hearted book with spice and romance. Great literature or filled with researched history? Not so much, but a series of enjoyable characters which, I felt, represented the time. Was every woman as spunky, outspoken and nose-thumbing, no, but some were, so no need to get all hung up on the realism of the characters. Just enjoy the ride in Sweet Tilly!
